You keep asking questions like someone that swapped brain with native fowl. Someone has answered you up there but you keep asking same thing over and over again. If local government chairmen are allowed to do so, then tomorrow, governors will also use state assembly to extend their tenures which will make everywhere messy and disorganized. You know the truth. Stop asking questions like a dolt.
just answer simple question and keep quiet

AcuraZDX:
I attended a wedding of one of my colleagues in Akure, Ondo state. I was supposed to travel back yesterday, but my car developed a fault and I forced me to stay back till day.

So this evening, my colleagues' sister took to me where I could get Akara. Because I am a huge fan of Custard and this past few days I haven't taken it. So I decided to get Akara for the custard.

Omoh. As I got to the Akara Stand, I was just hearing APC, Tinubu, failure up and down in loud voices. Well, since I wasn't understanding them, I turned on my recorder to capture some of the things they were saying, so that I can ask the young lady with me to explain what the other customers were saying.

The whole conversation now urges me to ask does Tinubu really have any base at all? Imagine his own brothers and sisters speaking ill about him in just One year of his administration 😂.

They were even talking about voting for Peter Obi aggressively in the next election and I'm like, what about those de-marketing Peter Obi. Are they this bad in their job?😂

Odidigboigbo:
They have right to amend any law but it must be in tandem with the constitution. Any law that is at variance with the constitution is null an void.. Mind you, it's Nigeria Constitution that created the LGA, not any House of Assembly Law. The Assembly members swear an oath to uphold the constitution of the FRN
just simple question of yes or no
Politics › Re: Rivers: Court Nullifies Tenure Extension For Pro-Wike LG Chairmen by yarimo(m): 8:01pm On May 21, 2024
thatigboman:
they do, but the state law is inconsistent with the constitution therefore null and void. And so is their amendment.
The tenure of local government chairmen and councillors is a constitutional matter, therefore a federal law.
I didn't ask you for that, keep that explainations to yourself
Politics › Re: Rivers: Court Nullifies Tenure Extension For Pro-Wike LG Chairmen by yarimo(m): 8:00pm On May 21, 2024
tnerro1:
Is not the work of Rivers State assembly members to amend constitution. It’s starts from the National Assembly
So are you saying state assembly members can't make or amend state laws?
