Baby08: Please I want to ask if C-Section fee was cheaper. I am currently in Edmonton and the cost of getting CS is cheaper than vaginal delivery. About $5k difference. Please what do you suggest and what can you advise? Thank you Hello, That’s strange , but it’s up to you and what you want . |

moyomola22: Hello pls I need help fam, coming to the calgary to have my baby who is due ist week of August, seems child delivery in calgary is kinda difficult to come by, what i am seeing is some agency asking me to pay 15k upfront, pls I need help urgently uote author=DereI post=123557121]
I believe it depends on where in canada you’re planning on giving birth.
As for accommodation, I have an Airbnb in Calgary and anyone interested, feel free to dm me. As far as you are giving birth in Calgary and you are an out of country patient ! You need to pay the 15k deposit to medicom for you to get a doctor and for the hospital to admit you except you want to pay through your nose . I just had my baby in Calgary and I paid the 15k deposit , the hospital fee is different from the deposit so I am waiting for my bill . I will share the break down when I get everything . |

[quote author=Happygirl5 post=122433477]Hello
Can anyone please suggest a good cheap GP or OB/GYNAE in Calgary area? I will be traveling specifically to SE area.
I’ve read almost all the posts but most of the info has been posted 5years for Calgary. There’s a new system there that has been established for birth tourists. Any idea please? Has anyone experienced delivering in Rockyview or South Health Campus?
I am also in Calgary presently trying to get an OBGYN and I had to call a number and they insisted for me to get one I need to deposit 15k . I have an appointment with a family doctor soon hopefully I get a contact. I will update you soon ! |

Debbieeeeeee: Got into the US via delta airlines Atlanta and it was pretty seamless. Why are you in the USA, I went straight to the point and told him to have my baby. How long will you be staying? How much do you have? Dr’s correspondence? the conversation lasted less than a minute.
My visa expires in this month of April but I was allowed in for 6 months as no more physical stamps, check I-94 website. My passport will be left with less than 6 months of validity by this April too.
I got this visa for holidays in May 2021 via interview renewal (dropbox was suspended then) and I used it thrice for its purpose prior to this trip, so plus this trip made it 4 times. This is my 10th trip in total to the USA also. I hope this helps someone. Thank you so much for sharing ! I can’t wait to share POE experience |

dere5: Just be sure you enter the us before your visa expires, that is the most important thing . I've heard of people that got in a day before the expiration of their visas and they were stamped in for 6 months. So i think you are good to go. Thank you will just go before it expires !!! 🥳 |

Kesspru: I am also in this situation. My visa expires june and am due in August. I will be leaving Nigeria the middle of June. Usually it’s safer to go through jfk in that situation as that is what I plan on doing. I was advised by different agents to use the visa for the journey before I reapply. Iv read where people drop their passports for drop box and it is held for up to 3 month. You are good to go. Just go through a friendly POE. Also go with your child you had already in the US. I will be going with my child ! Thank you so much 😊 |

GFavor: I will advice you use your old Visa, it now depends on how long you will be stamped in. Are you now qualified for drop box?
When you did your drop box earlier, where you notified to pick up your passports after the NO STATUS updates. Yes I was notified to pick up my passport and I am now qualified for Dropbox since it’s within the 3 months expiration |

Hello everyone, I had my baby in November 2021 in Atlanta but my POE was Newyork and it was easy, I declared I was pregnant and the immigration officer asked how much I had and I declared. As at the time of my interview I told them visa officer holiday because I wasn’t showing at all. I got my visa in June 2021 and it will expiring June 2023 and I plan on using it again as I am due in July . But I will be going in may which means I have 1 month left . I will also be declaring and I hope they let me in for the duration I need to have my baby . I also tried drop box earlier March 2023 and I was not qualified for drop box but I saw somewhere that was because I applied too early. I tracked my application and it went from application received to no status till I picked up and got a yellow paper saying I wasn’t qualified for interview waiver . Do you think I should do another Dropbox before travelling or I should just use my old visa like that? Anyone in this situation? Thank you 🙏 |
