if it doesn't work perhaps there's an app that Is requesting Wi-Fi to be turned on.. Trying checking any app on your phone that then switch it off

No . I did not. it comes with Android 5.0.1 version when I bought it as UK used . That phone is a great phone but never updated anything except just d Google apps .

Ther is an Official Marshmallow update for that device

Get a good internet connection and Go to your settings and Search for update... If you don't see any update you can search Google for official Marshmallow firmware for your device model and flash manually with Odin PC software

ok thanks. the reason I want to update is that my WiFi always turnning on after 3 seconds. I tried what I could but always turnning itself on. but when I on d data, it doesn't turn on. that's why I wanna update but when I hit update on settings , it always saying it's d latest software.

If you have any samsung phone software related issues like rooting issues..installing custom recoveries like twrp cwm..bootloop issues..loose of IMEI number while upgrading or downgrading making your phone not to have network ..installing custom roms..softbrick issues..unlocking branded samsung phone..

I have a galaxy note 4 but stuck at 5.0 version. pls , which is the best version now for android that work flawless expecially galaxy note 4 ?
