PoliticsRe: Rate & Review Your Governor by yemee: 3:39pm On Jul 30, 2013
slimyem: -Ondo State.
-Governor Olusegun Rahman Mimiko
-2 tenures
-2 decades more or less. wink
-7/10
-He is one governor who has delivered quite well. He identified the problems of the common man and has been addressing it. From the roads, to the mother and child hospitals to the mega schools, the remodelling of markets and mortor parks, the buses that transport students to and fro school free plus Ondo state is gradually becoming a beautiful city all because of him.
Sports nko? Dealing it from the grassroots.
He's also been transforming the Civil service of recent. All ghost workers and illegally appointed peeps are being rooted out. Just the way it should be.!
Smart, cunning, strict, and a no-nonsense Governor. cool He has given no room for ineptitude.
His opposition and n'er do well people will always find faults though.
He has done well but can be better! Iroko joor!! cheesy

For better strategies, I'll think he would do something about employment. That's the only area that he hasn't been felt. If I were to advise, He should revive all the companies that have been run aground in Ondo state e.g Oluwa Glass, NIROWI etc...
Are you aware he hasn't paid primary school teachers for some months?

The man is really quiet, doesn't blow his own trumpet. Prefers to let his work speak for him. His major focus seems to be enviromental (roads and water), but he's done a lot of infrastructural work too. New bridges, road dualisations, new water pipes laid throughout the city. Security recieved a great boost with donations of dozens of patrol vehicles to the state police department. Transportation also got a makeover, with introduction of hundreds of yellow cabs and buses.
He seems to be having problems with ESWAMA, though, as in some parts of Enugu, waste disposal has been described as "war".
If he can fix the ESWAMA problem, and do something about those awful motorpark touts, also fix some inner city roads (Abakpa, Thinkers Corner, parts of New Haven, Emene), he would have done more than his predecessors.
Have you by any chance visited Isi-Uzo LGA?You should if you haven't,you'll definitely score him much less

4chi: You are absolutely correct on the fact that ashebe is nothing more than a ibo biafran. And that's all to him. So let the ibo biafran carry his crippled corpse and bury him in the evil forest like okonkwo his grandfather.

You are also absolutely correct that he doesn't owe yorubas any farthen, just like Awo did not owe biafrans any farthen by taking the most pragmatic decisions to end the Nigerian civil war quickly and bring your silly little republic to it's knees. One wonders then why ashebe was so bitter about that? I am sure he would do worse if he had the chance considering the volume of bitterness in his patently deranged psyche.
That's harsh!I think his last book is full of half-truths but the man was a great writer and was more than a 'mere Biafran'.He also did a great thing by refusing the National Award.

Eziachi: It shows you knew nothing about what you talking about or be driven by tribal sentiment as always, because I remember MKO winning in Anambra, Enugu and Tofa winning in Imo and Abia and Abiola not far behind. How old were you in 1993? And who was Abacha and Gowon's sidekicks and who want to be Buhari sidekick in 2015? think first before you say all this things.
Abiola only won in Anambra State,he lost all other states in the South East - http://maxsiollun./2008/06/14/june-12-1993-election-full-results/
PoliticsRe: $650m Abuja Medical City Planned By FG by yemee: 3:59pm On Feb 14, 2013
Mandelaguy: Your like will keep misinforming the general public, either for your lack of knowledge, half knowledge(half education is very dangerous as my late father always said) or as a result of misinformation or total disregard to truthfulness. My point is, all these hospitals scattered around the 36 states including FCT were in disrepair, decrepit and useless (these were creations of past administrations), I can give you a total run down of the history of most of these hospitals especially in the south east where I come from. Through dogged determination and the good sense of some CMD's, some of them kept afloat. Have you taken a gradual tour around recently? Criticise when you have your facts. Atleast, I can authoritatively say that no Federal hospital in the Federation is not presently getting attention. Pick one and prove me wrong. The medical city is been handled by a reputable firm, and the target is to stop outflux of money on medical issues and our brothers(medical experts) in diaspora vowed to come back and be part of this project as long as they will get the same pay they get in Europe and Americas. Always get your facts before rushing to this forum.
You are not totally correct here.I stay inside Lagos University Teaching Hospital and my brother works there and I know it's NOT RECEIVING ANY ATTENTION.You should actually pay a visit and interview the doctors/health workers before commenting.

Christianity EtcRe: How Islam Improves On Christianity? by yemee: 3:51pm On Jan 13, 2012
LagosShia, may God open your eyes to really UNDERSTAND the truth.I see that you have KNOWLEDGE of the WORDS(you've obviously been doing a lot of memorizing) of the Bible but you lack the Holy Spirit so you evidently do not understand the truths contained therein, I wonder why so many people are willing to trade words with you over which is the true religion, there is simply no basis for comparison:

JESUS IS LORD,this is TRUTH,

I have read some of your posts and you labour hard to sell Islam, true christians do not need to be convinced about their belief-they just know that it is truth, Stop the comparison,it is so pointless because no right thinking man will forgo the liberty that is in Christ for the bondage you labour to market,

You do need the Holy Spirit, you need Jesus.
