Another win but an unconvincing one! Outside of the Arsenal and the City games, Man United have not scored more than 2goals this season and the board thinks Gakpo was not needed? They had better put on their scoring boots as their next opponents in Newcastle as Newcastle scores for fun!

Defense is not a lesser priority than attack! This is the basis of excellent football, especially when your defense is so good that your attackers don't bother tracking back!

Thank you for replying him! And to add, the years Liverpool won titles especially the Champions League, their defense was solid with Van Dijk being a leader there. This season they are going nowhere. Why? Because their defense is in shambles with Van Dijk and Arnold being the culprits. Infact, with all their attack, they won't even be Top 4 this season and you can bank on that!

It wasn't a mistake that Pep spent an insane amount on Defense (Even more than he spent on attack).

All areas are vital, but the best of attacks will suffer when they meet a really good team and their defense is in shambles.

United has a good attack currently, but that can never suffice when the defense can't do their jobs properly!

Liverpool's solid defense made their attack look better than it really was two seasons ago! Without Van Dijk's strength and leadership, Fabinho's cover, and Matip's attentiveness, nothing for Liverpool seasons back even with the quality of Mane, Salah and Firmino upfront.

You can say that again bro! That City have 3 capable defenders in Stones, Dias and Laporte and even got Manuel Akanji this summer is part of the reason they are unplayable this season!

Just thinking out loud! When last has Man United scored from a corner kick or even set piece? Seems their setpiece coach should be fired until they finally start doing that!

This is very very true! Time for the pretenders in Lindelof and Maguire to be offloaded once two decent defenders are in! One more in the forward department especially with the Martial injuries and CR7 at the tail end of his career is also sorely needed! (I don't rate Elanga by the way! Came in to the starting 11 too soon!)
