https://punchng.com/tinubu-may-announce-new-minimum-wage-on-workers-day/?amp

The governors will be the reason why this new minimum wage will be underwhelming. More money for them as currently obtains is more money for them to loot rather than for the citizenry sigh.
Politics / Re: HARDSHIP: What Is The Situation Of Things In Your Area. by yemi1504: 10:05am On Mar 21
themanderon:
The plan is for APC to frustrate and make the people hungry, poverty-stricken and despondent so by 2027 they will start sharing cups of rice for people to vote them in again.
Is it not a mockery that a man caught on tape stuffing hard currencies down his babanriga is frolicking freely with the president who himself has a very questionable past? Then you have a Senate president who has had corruption cases following him in each and every office he has held being the Senate president.
How do you expect something good from these guys?
Even the Bible said when the righteous are on the throne the people rejoice but when the wicked are there..........
These guys are evil men who have sold their souls to the devil in exchange for wealth and power. They feed off the pains people are feeling so don't expect anything good from them.

Exactly!

The party of swindlers and thieves put forward its chief swindler and its chief thief for the presidency.

A review of the budget proposed by President Tinubu and the one eventually passed by the National Assembly show that the allegations of budget padding by Abdul Ningi are largely true.

Politics / Re: FG Orders NERC To Revoke Licenses Of Non-Performing DISCOS by yemi1504: 11:40am On Mar 12
malali:
Even if the licenses are with private electric distribution companies, there should be legal clauses in the initial contract, that reprimands or makes them give up full/partial licensure if performance is subpar without any due reason upon yearly review. The licensure is private sector does not mean the oversight should be private sector as well.

And licenses can be re-assigned to people who are ready to perform or split up geographically. Just introducing a little competition, not too much will allow them sit tight.

Exactly! Sanctions in terms of fines for poor performance will also make them sit up too.

The problem we have is that huge portions of Nigerians have fish brain. They cannot resist the bait of politicians anytime election is around. In turn, they exchanged their freedom, wellbeing for paltry sim of money. Tinubu is recovering the money from the people and they are crying.

Exactly! The amnesia they keep having every election season is appalling to say the least. Don't be surprised if after this brouhaha currently, in 2027, Nigerians still vote humongously for the poverty party! Shior! Tueh.
