Good day everyone,

I started reading this thread from the last 50 pages and I find it very informative and quite useful, thank you all for creating something like this.
I know to work in the UAE, we have to do a certificate attestation with their Embassy in Abuja but one other thing I keep seeing is "Eligibility Letter" and I don't know what it is.
Please can someone tell me what it is and how important it is relating to working in the UAE.

Thanks in advance. smiley

How do our great grant parents deliver in those days?
How do mad people deliver without any husband around them?
How do animals deliver on their own?

Women make labor look so difficult. meanwhile, its a natural thing
This come mostly with women with husbands.

Teenagers with no husbands deliver on their own without any help from anybody not to
talk of Doctors helping them.

They do all these shakara when the know the have someone like a husband to pet them
What is this one saying? You probably haven't lost anyone to childbirth complications and I hope you never do. It's some serious shit
CultureRe: Alaafin Of Oyo Arrives Abuja Airport In Limousine (Photos) by yemmy98: 11:33pm On Feb 16, 2017
I am appalled by the rate of tribalism and highly inaccurate comments to this post.

1 Most Yoruba kings have private businesses that generate enough income for them to maintain their lifestyle. I don't deny that they may enjoy donations from politicians and businesses.

2 The Alaafin does not rule "brown roof people" I'm assuming the person that said this was referencing Ibadan. Check again they have Olubadan, the Alaafin is based in Oyo.

3 Someone also said the British people pay taxes to fund the "ostentatious" lifestyle of the royal family. Please get your facts right, they don't.

4. A lot of us here complaining about the problem of Nigeria not moving forward bla bla bla. Check the comments in this post and you'll see we are part of the problem. Bunch of tribalistic and unenlightened people looking for how to pass blame around and cause trouble where trouble isn't

Please if you don't know something shut up and learn. Don't hide behind the anonymity of the internet to spew your un-enlightened tribalistic comments to the world

Scoring a 95th percentile on a test means you're in the top 5% of the best performing candidtates. Scoring a 20th percentile means you did better than 20% of the candidates. If you have 100 candidates taking an exam, would you prefer to be in the top 5% or top 80%. No one really knows what the criteria for this recruitment is, but saying that scoring a lower percentile on a test is better than a higher percentile generally is very wrong

Fambum87:
Well, I still insist that higher percentile does not necessarily mean that you have done better than someone with low percentile. use the link below to know how percentile works.

I think they are assesing for how well you can function without constant supervision and how much of a team player you are. Questions that have to do with you contacting your manager appears a lot and in my opinion if you put contacting your manager ahead of finding solutions yourself a lot of the time i don't think it's a good idea relative to what they are looking for.
PS: It's just an opinion i am not 100% sure that's how it works

We are living in a world where people are evil to the other man. So I went to spend the weekend at my uncles' in Command area of Ipaja. We were watching the Euro 2016 final between Portugal and France at a bar jejele when some people noticed a man in a blue celestial garment making some incantations calling out someone's name. That was how we all rushed out to see what was going on.
To cut the long story short he was made to carry back the concoction he had dropped and force to eat after begging the angry area boys that he didn't want to eat it. He was given a chilled turbo king to down the porridge looking food with eggs grin grin grin. The T junction has been known to be a popular place for ritualist so, On this fateful day, nemesis caught up with the evil doer in the most unexpected way.
Op i feel there is an element of lie in this story angry angry

Won't advice you to tread that Path.
Dad is a practicing menber.
He even had a small temple in the house then.
They don't believe in God.
They believe they are invincible.
Be wise Brother.
I don't think I agree with you, they believe in God, in the divinity of Christ and also believe that the truth we search for in our quest for self mastery can be gotten from knowledge possessed and/or taught by other religions.
They do not practice devilish or demonic rites like most people portray them to, they still practice their individual religion.. Islam, Christianity etc. These people don't believe they're invincible per se, they believe some teachings of Jesus Christ and some of the ancient prophets were hidden from the public to avoid unexposed folks from gaining access to this information and corrupting it.
They teach reincarnation which if you search the bible well was briefly talked about, they teach that man can actually have a deeper relationship with God through his thoughts, action and prayer and can develop himself to be liberated of earthly cares. They're not evil from what I've seen, I don't think you'll be disadvantaged by joining them although you won't lose anything if you don't.

PoliticsNigeria's President A "Proven Good For Nothing slowpoke"?? by yemmy98(op): 12:46pm On Jan 16, 2015
Last week about 2000 people were massacred in Baga, 17 people killed in France. The world rallied with France and despite the holocaust-like massacre in Nigeria, there was not a single major international news paper that reported the Baga story. After asking myself why, and if the western world had any regards for African lives, I realized our challenge is indeed our leaders who have no regard for the populace who rather are concerned about politics in 2015 than about the lives of the people they govern.
Why should the world stand with us I asked again, when #BringBackOurGirls failed to yield any result. We're fed with lies daily by our failed government, women, children and the elderly die en masse daily in northern Nigeria to the point our president has been branded a "proven good for nothing slowpoke".Has the president truly failed us, or do you think he deserves another chance to prove most people wrong? #IAmNigeria

dovelike:
Dear, love is an overrated word. Its called infatuation or crush. In the long run,it gradually fades and turns to tolerance. I detest women beaters. Am scared of rships now because there are times I thought I was in love.....then I got bored undecided. Its all tolerance and patience, then friends,in marriage. cry
The thing be say,if God just remove all the women from nigeria, the Men will not survive one day. Truth. angry
Honestly...excellent write up. A lot of people don't know what the so called "love" entails, that's why they get disappointed at the end of the day because they never got what they were expecting. It's all about tolerance
RomanceRe: Our Pastor Sided Him For "Punishing Me After Marriage" by yemmy98: 5:23pm On Dec 08, 2014
This is one of the reasons i think divorce was invented. From what you've said so far, i perceive you're a career woman, hence you don't need to build your life around a man talk less of a sexually abusive man. You should overlook the fact that the marriage is recent and just end it now while you can. Old habits are difficult to stop if not impossible in a number of cases. The fact that he has started it early in your marriage now and you're giving in because let's face it, you can hardly defend yourself, is a pointer that this would continue for a while. At the end of the day you'll resent men and may slip into depression because of the fear of what your "husband" will do to you. My dear this is the 21st century not some medieval era, get a lawyer and get a divorce forget counselling or any of those sh*t. I am a man, and the thought of men maltreating women sickens me... I didn't have the guts to even finish reading your story this time after reading the last one. Get out of the marriage and don't look back. There's lots of love in this world
