Hausas are weak same with fulanis thats why they attack the vulnerable during war or riots. they take strength in their multitude and surprise attacks. Have u ever seen hausa or fulanis fight and open war and win alone? A large percentage of them fill the military, thats why Nigerian military is weak. southerns have more experience and heart for open wars, d ijaws, igbos, yorubas, benins etc. If there will be a breakway, the north wont stand the chance there alot of allies that will join the southern Army
Chadian Army are hausa and fulani... Lemme exercise ur memory.

Derby your new hero and his soldiers were sleeping on duty when Boko terrorists attacked them, they were too lazy to fight and repel Boko attack and Boko terrorists slaughtered Derby's 100 soldiers.

In Nigeria when Boko attacked, our brave men repelled and killed many boko terrorists.

God bless Nigerian brave soldiers.

PatrioticNaija:
Everyone in Nigeria benefits from oil, either directly or indirectly. Our budget is about 90% oil dependent. Meaning all civil servants get paid from oil. All civil servants patronise business owners in Nigeria and take care of dependents not working. Oil companies and their staff patronise other sectors of the economy like catering, hotels, transportation companies etc......

The chain reaction continues. Even the oloshos get more patronage from the oil and gas sector + politicians.

If you look deep, you will see that you are also dependent on oil mostly indirectly. Oil price affects almost everything in Nigeria. Thanks
thanks

grandstar:
You do benefit from oil.

Everything you buy with the Naira is determined by the price of oil. If the oil price stays at less than $20 for instance, the Naira may depreciate to N600.

Do you know what that implies? Prices of goods and services will skyrocket. The 30k minimum wage which was worth $80 early this year will now be worth only $50.

Where do you stand now?
thanks for the update

You're daft.

If he's the best governor, why is his State the most terrorized in Nigeria?
You Muslims don't have problem with Boko Haram activities.

You Nigerians are easy to be deceived,
You see the worst as the best.
How can one of the worst State in Nigeria have the best governor?

To you he's the best because he gave a teacher 1 million Naira and he also sit under tree or buy akara on the street

All this devastation could have been contained if china was honest and forth-coming with the world. .....

They have to be held responsible.
If not , they'll continue their ways. ....

Man Up , chinese dictator !
They must pay dearly. This has been costly to the WORLD. This was released from the military lab next to market. It was released to attack a certain age group. It's a designed virus. Make them pay. There is no words to describe what this country did, or should I say it’s regime! I see it as the biggest Terrorist act ever against Humanity! And the world needs to come together on it and make this scrupulous country pay! Who acts like it did nothing wrong and keeps doing what it did before! Make them pay for their gambit to become the 'one and only sun' as they recently put it, while sowing death and misery around the world. The bottom line is economic warfare whether deliberate or by allowing the 'accidental release' to spread globally for months while lying and denying They are a dangerous country feel sorry for the common people that have to live there you have a dictator in Russia you have a crazy leader in North Korea what you have in China is a leader who does not care about the people I am trying to figure out is this going to go on till we Blow each other Up Boy this is a strange World we live in

Chad army says 52 troops, 1,000 jihadists killed in offensive By . | Published Date Apr 9, 2020 15:05 PM
President Idriss Déby of Chad The Chadian army said Thursday it had wound up an offensive against Boko Haram jihadists in the Lake Chad border region in which 52 troops and 1,000 jihadists were killed. Army spokesman Colonel Azem Bermendoa Agouna told AFP that the operation, launched after nearly 100 soldiers were killed last month, ended Wednesday after the Nigerian jihadists were forced out of the country. “A thousand terrorists have been killed, 50 motorised canoes have been destroyed,” he said, referring to a large boat also called a pirogue. It is the first official snapshot of the outcome of Operation Bohoma Anger, launched after Chad’s armed forces suffered their biggest one-day loss in their history. Lake Chad is a vast, marshy body of water where the borders of Niger, Nigeria, Chad and Cameroon meet. The western shores of the lake have been hit by jihadists crossing from northeastern Nigeria, where Boko Haram launched a bloody campaign of violence in 2009. On March 23, jihadists mounted a deadly seven-hour assault on a Chadian army base at Bohoma, killing at least 98 troops, according to an official toll. Chad declared departments near the lake “a war zone” in order to give the military free rein for the offensive. The four countries bordering the lake on 2015 set up a formation called the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), also including Benin, to fight Boko Haram. But Chad, whose forces have a relatively high standing in the Sahel, has shown frustration with the MNJTF following the Bohoma losses. “Chad is alone in shouldering all the burden of the war against Boko Haram,” President Idriss Deby Itno complained last weekend. “I met the commander of the MNJTF and asked him to take over.” Boko Haram’s 11-year-old campaign has claimed tens of thousands of lives in northeast Nigeria and driven nearly two million people from their homes. Separately, in Niger, the defence ministry in Niamey said its armed forces, in a joint operation with Chad, had inflicted “heavy losses” on Boko Haram in the lake region. “Arms caches, logistical points and several boats were destroyed” and islands used as rear bases in the lake’s marshland were “bombarded from the air,” it said. Landlocked and poor, Niger is facing jihadist attacks in opposite ends of the country — an insurgency that has spilled over from neighbouring Mali, and raids in the Lake Chad region by Boko Haram fighters. In Burkina Faso, meanwhile, five soldiers were killed and three were wounded on Thursday when their unit came under attack from jihadists in Solle, in the northern province of Loroum, an army official said. Around 4,000 people lost their lives last year in jihadist- or community-related violence in Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso, according to UN figures. There is an ulterior motive and it is probably corrupt. What is the point in this? Prisoners are already quarantined. They should be in one of the safest places there is. Releasing convicted felons is about one of the dumbest things I ever heard of, they are in prison because they are a threat to society , politicians live in walled homes with armed security , what about us, and they want to take our safety that we have to defend ourselves, family and homes, but they are not giving up their armed guards ! What a great idea! Now that regular people are trapped at home, release all the prison and jail residents to rob and break into all. They're in jail for being a threat..... no re-do or Monday quarterback.
If they didnt follow rules like no kill, no steal, no assault.... think they'll comply to social distancing or wearing a mask??

COVID-19: NAFDAC to ensure quality of Chinese medical supplies – FG

The Federal Government has said the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control would ensure the quality of all the medical supplies that were brought into the country from China.

Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, on Wednesday, received coronavirus equipment and consumables worth 1.3 million dollars from China.

Some medical experts also arrived in the country to provide healthcare assistance and share methods on the containment of COVID-19 with Nigeria.

Ehanire, in a statement, said that the team was not in Nigeria to treat patients but to conduct capacity building based on their experience.

He said, “All available resources shall be deployed to support the adequate engagement of Nigerian medical experts towards curbing the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

“Federal Ministry of Health assures that the Federal Government, through the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, will ensure the quality of all the medical supplies that were brought into the country.

“It must be stressed that, following global best practices and in line with our advisory, the medical experts from China have gone into isolation for 14 days and will be tested for COVID-19.

“The Chinese medical team will provide first-hand experience and insights on how they were able to bring the spread of the disease under control.

“The donors, a group of Chinese companies working in Nigeria, made this gesture in a show of solidarity and cooperation with the government as the world works together to contain this disease.’’
