Areosapien: I noticed some delusional characters are trying to put in Osun and Ekiti even when statistics clearly say otherwise. grin
Same way they tried to sell us the fake story about an Ondo girl making the best WAEC result, only to get busted red handed by WAEC grin

Eyaaah! If you tried hyping up your weak azzz states in your dreams, you never know, it might just turn out true! grin
Wouldn't blame anyone bro, grew up thinking same but the internet taught me better.

alj harem: thus they are illiterate ?

C'mon remove the biased view from your post and ask how many graduates that state chun out every year plus quality compare to Nsuuka and Anambra.

Lets face the reality here, we are not english people thus every single pronuciation would not be exact but in terms of class, as far as African is concerned yes they are wayyyy better than Anambra etc

As for the Lagos bit, Ok then lets remove Lagos for fairness
Please give me waec and jamb stats, at least both are indicative of Naija's situation. No demote yourself

jmaine: Bros, me sef wey serve for Osun state no wassup grin .. .i did not want to raise any "point of order" about Osun state cos it might be misconstrued as being biased for obvious reasons . . .but Osun need not be mentioned to be candid . .Guess na OAU eye dem dey look grin . . .
As in, unto? Give me stats.
Not saying Osun is worse than Sokoto but it being above Imo, Anambra etc is something else abeg.

bashr8: lol this people itre me , they are never tired of fabricating lies its no longer a secret the states with highest literacy rate are imo ,anambra, delta, abia, rivers ,edo ,cross rivers in no particular order
Just imagine the likeness o.He thinks he knows Osun better than i do.
Politics › Re: Which State Is The Most Educated In Nigeria by Yeske2(m): 10:53pm On Apr 29, 2012
sheyguy: jamb's stat can only support arguments for education up till secondary sch. level.
If we are to use Tertiary institution as our benchmark, i will give it to osun state based on my experience during NYSC. I noticed that osun state indigenes had highest level of participation. Though states like edo, delta, ogun & oyo had high number of grads too, osun state surprisingly topped the list. If we were to move higher to PHD/Proffesor level then i will give it to ekiti/ondo/part of osun. Overall i give it to ekiti and ondo people because of their high percentage of highly educated people in their overall population.
You shack alomo this night? Same Osun i served? Are we to discredit waec and JAMB stats?
Politics › Re: Prof Ayodele & Prof Andrew Leo Were Killed In BUK Attack by Yeske2(m): 10:09pm On Apr 29, 2012
phreakabit: Very sad @the loss of lives in general. . . . However, with that said. I thought it was "ONLY IGBOS BEING KILLED by BH, and so it was not some peoples problem"? Hope this serves as an eye opener to the doubters. The time to dissolve this shitty union is NOW!!!!!!
I thought so too as some Nairalanders would want us to believe but back to topic,
as difficult as it is, what are southerners still doing up north? Are they waiting till they are all killed? May their souls rest in peace though but they need to move back down south and this bleeped country split.

Politics › Re: "They Tricked Us Into Fighting Igbos During Civil War" - Middle Belt Group by Yeske2(m): 8:47pm On Apr 26, 2012
Dede1: When ethnicities other than Igbo precipitate anything such as coup or instigate a war or mere riot, it is fine and readily named Nigerians for Nigeria. However when Igbo lead other groups in doing the same thing, it becomes Igbo for Ndigbo as well as Igbo dominance or arrogance.

Few people in Nigeria, with fixed faculty, have come to realize that January 15, 1966 coup was a Nigerian army show not Igbo thing. They have shown regrets in participating in a foolish war which followed the coups. A war most Nigerians now felt should not have been instigated even if eastern region of Nigeria had decided to cede from the rest of Nigeria without a cause.

You talked about MB people doing their bid aganist Igbo arrogance, if you do not mind, I would appreciate an elaborated aspect of “Igbo arrogance” as you stated in the post above.
God punish them, they know better but who send sef?

cap28: Why is the cia not in the dock wth him? After all they funded trained and armed him, they also assistd him wth smugglng of diamonds, how did he escape frm maximum security prisn in boston only to show up later as the president of liberia? The only black man in the history of the amercn prsn system to escape successfully frm a maximum security prisn!
His greed and lust for wealth and power caused it. Why couldn't he train the CIA to do same in America?

Crayola1: Not really. I just looked, noticed the head retar.d who was leading the charge, said my piece, and kept it moving. One wonders why you bother coming all the way to the US and still carry such a backwards mentality, you could have saved the time and money and stayed in Nigeria. kiss

Like I said Ken Saro Wiwa protested for his health, thank God Omotola came 20 years later to rally for the cause lol. Omotola is doing good work no need to mess up her work by tagging yourself to her.
