@ the two above posters, calling our people down south is a fact but living in delusion as if nothing affects your kith and kin up north is misappropriated. Stop advising us. |

ilugunboy: Answer this: did the militant killed innocent people and destroyed innocent people's properties or not? The bottom line is they may have different motives and goals...but they both went for it the same way...killing and destruction. The goals may be different but the means are the same.
If armed tactics didn't solve the problem the first time ...it will probably or most likely not going to solve it this time around.
We shall see who is right and who is not between the army of well intentioned Nigerians and GEJ and his handlers. At least you agreed to the fact that both groups had different goals and i will never dispute that that the militants were destructive too but the militants had leaders ready to talk to someone ...anyone about their grieviance unlike BH we only get to know their intentions on YouTube. You know better buddy, Tinubu goofed so stop making excuses for any charlatan no matter how high you place him. |

ilugunboy: 1: fighting for you right by bombing national assets, looting and robbing banks in PH and environs, killing several innocent people and commiting so many atrocities that led to so many losses ( our memories is short in this country) 2: fighting for your right by almost bringing the economy of this country down ( a truly treasonable offence)
Whatever the BH is fighting for ( catalogue of them which ordinarily don't make sense to me by the way) is also leading to several death, destruction and dislocation of several businesses and families.
Just like the armed confrontation in the creek did not solve the problem then ..people are equally saying it won't stop it now....why not explore alternative means of finding a solution rather than the armed tactics? Fellow NLanders would easily give you all you need about the above. In your opinion, which one make sense die, 1) Fighting for the wealth under your feet which outsiders have been exploiting and same time degrading your environment for, 2) Fighting to instill your ideology of what and who you are on others, maiming and killing even those who barely know what you're talking about. Answers asap. |

Politics › Re: Tinubu Backs Amnesty For Boko Haram by Yeske2(m): 6:25am On Mar 21, 2013 |
ilugunboy: No....am not ready to do that...just needed to let you know that this world doesn't revolve all around a blind support for GEJ with thr way you tried to fault a senior citizen's suggestion on the way forward. Sorry to burst your bubble, never been an advocate of GEJ and never will. Still want to know the rational behind Tinubu's thoughts on why he made that statement when the militants who enjoyed amnesty were fighting for a right and BH fighting for an ideology of ethnic and religious cleansing. Prove me wrong on this. Certainly, Emir will be so disappointed with the likes of senior citizens such as him. |

ilugunboy: Lolzzz.....what is amnesty and what does the term carrot meant for?
Guy! Keep quiet if you don't know what you are talking about!
Probably you think amnesty is all just about doling out cash like they are doing for the ex-militants that are not really "ex" but simply on idle-mode. Then i guess you educate us more as you think you know better |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Backs Amnesty For Boko Haram by Yeske2(m): 6:06am On Mar 21, 2013 |
@ilugunboy, Carrot and stick principle, yes but OBJ never said anything about amnesty Tinubu is talking about here. Tinubu is not in charge of security so he should leave that to the experts. Pretty sure the Emir might have wanted to spit at his face for saying that(He's had a close shave) with the BH guys before if you've forgotten. |

The Northerners in the east know we can't take such news and pretend nothing happened for too long, no wonder they fled Onitsha even before the latest Kano bombing filtered into town unlike some other group who are in denial and pretend none of their kinsmen were involved in the carnage. Little wonder the Fulani-Boko Haram is busy ravaging their territory and even will fight them to the last man in their region and they still pretend "nothing dey happen". Continue living in denial, it suits you guys though. |

If I am not for the north I must be for the Igbos ?

Who were the rulers of the first republic that destoryed Nigeria ? Igbos
Were northerners and Igbos partners ?
Moreover I beat my chest that Yes Yorubas are at least more educated than Igbos. BTW you don't have to agree
Just compare any SE governor to SW governor. Compare you and I, etc Compare Jarus to Onlytruth (it is an insult to jarus) Compare Dede to Katsumoto, Compare Fstranger, Jason, Ekt bear etc to any Igbo on Nairaland
Now lets go back to the basics, compare Nnamdi to Awolowo Leave topic waka enter wetin no conjoin am yet making no sense. |

El Guapo: [color=#0066ff]Rev. Reinhard Bonke came to Okuokoko village in Delta state for a convention. He mounted the podium and started preaching the gospel.
Barely 10 minutes into the sermon, he noticed that the congregation were not catching up seriously.
He called on the nearest man (Akpomiemie) and asked him why they were looking blank.
Akpomiemie answered “sir, dem no understand your big English”.
Reinhard Bonke thought for a moment and then asked Akpomiemie for assistance
This is what ensued:
Reinhard Bonke: “As it is written in the bible”
Akpomiemie: “As dem yarn for bible side”
Reinhard Bonke: “Jesus entered the boat with his disciples”
Akpomiemie: “Naim Jesus fall inside canoe with him palles”
Reinhard Bonke: “As the boat was sailing there was a great storm”
Akpomiemie: ” As the canoe dey remove naim yawa come gas”
Reinhard Bonke: ” the storm was so great that it was like a whirl wind”
Akpomiemie: “the yawa na die so tay kasala burst enter”
Reinhard Bonke: ” the disciples became so afraid and they shouted master master”
Akpomiemie: “naim liver drop him palles, dem begin hala bros bros”
Reinhard Bonke: “Jesus got up and calmed down the wind”
Akpomiemie: “Naim Jesus rise up come arrange the yawa”
Reinhard Bonke: ” He turned to his disciples and said, oh ye men of little faith”
Akpomiemie: Na so Jesus look him palles, shake him head say UNA FALL MY HAND ”
Reinhard Bonke: the disciples replied and said what manner of man is this?
