How can one man steal 753 duplexes?! How many can you live in at once? The African politican mindset is just appalling. And these are just the ones we know about, thousands more are stealing multiples of these. The good thing is that the day your soul is required of you, not a SINGLE pin will you take along. FOOLS.
BlueRayDick: The bigger problem is : Even law enforcement agents are lawless themselves . For example now a whole lot of Nigerians drink and drive which a crime anywhere in the world , but that law is hardly enforced in Nigeria because even the policemen drink on duty .
There are several videos of policemen with bottles of alcohol littering all over the internet . The crazy one is the police Area “A” headquarters (Lion Building ) on Lagos island has the popular Campbell hotel and several drinking joints surrounding it. During the day like now u will see policemen in uniform drinking alcohol of various brands and smoking with rifles either placed on their laps or by their side.
These same officers will rise from the drinking joints to go carry out arrests and raids . Some will go to the roads to mount road blocks . How do u expect such policemen to uphold the law ?
I have been in a bus before when the conductor jumped down , approached the traffic police officer with bribe to allow the bus follow one-way around that Oregun/Daystar Church in Ikeja . The police officer obliged and our bus enter the one-way after which they blocked the road again after him.
Law enforcement sef Dey encourage people to break law in Nigeria
True. The law enforcement are fully part of the lawless Nigerians. From head to toe, the country is steeped in lawlessness unfortunately. Sometimes I wonder, where do we even start from?! It is well.
izzou: I remember a guy caught on one way in Lagos.
As he was trying to escape, he hit a police officer and the officer fell into the lagoon. The officer was unhurt
Lagos state gave that guy 6 months imprisonment.
I don't know about Oyo, but if this was Lagos, without the shooting part, this guy go taste Badagry prison.
I remember this story very well, the guy was shedding 'crocodile' tears after he was arrested. Too many Nigerians are lawless, and it all boils down to the lack of consequence. Oyinbo man follows rules because he knows the consequences if he doesn't, from tickets to fines to jail terms.
Rebuker: Be-Okojie, has addressed and dismissed the rumors claiming she is battling cancer. The speculations started after a clip from her show began trending online, leading many to worry about her health due to her noticeable weight loss.
Mercy took to social media to clear the air, explaining that the clip from her cooking show, Mercy’s Menu, was misunderstood and taken out of context.
In the video she posted, the actress expressed appreciation for the love and concern from fans:
“Hi guys first and foremost thank you for all the calls and messages and prayers. Thank you and I do appreciate it so much but I do not have cancer. I noticed that a clip from my TV show Mercys Menu has been round and they cut the clip.”
She went on to explain that the misunderstanding came from an episode where she mentioned having a “cancer scare,” not an actual diagnosis.
“I said I had a cancer scare, meaning that I had the swelling on my neck, you can see the line there. My doctor thought it was something serious and I had something with my thyroid but I am perfectly okay.”
Reassuring her fans once again, Mercy added:
“Thank you so much for your calls and messages, my phone has been buzzing like crazy. I am perfectly fine and I do not have cancer. I am perfectly okay, so thank you for checking up on me and sending all those messages. Please go back and watch the clip. It was completely misunderstood and I am fine. I do not have cancer in Jesus name.”
For a while now, fans have been asking about her weight loss. Mercy had earlier explained that her new look is a result of a non-surgical weight loss program she’s been promoting—not illness.

BlueRayDick: What I'm reading now is that anybody who sat for this year's JAMB are advised to go check their portal and check if they have been scheduled to resit so they can reprint their exam slip. Some people who scored above 200 too are being rescheduled for resit o.
I saw someone saying she scored 264 and another person scored 256; they were both reschedule to resit tomorrow.
If these ones come re-write and score lower nko? 🤷♂️
It's just a mess. Imagine having to resit an exam you thought you were already done with.
OlawaleBammie: She didn't mention Nigeria in all of her speech..how come??
Was waiting to read about her lamenting about how Nigeria police force disrupted the proceedings, took her pair of shoes at her polling unit and how Nigeria sitting govt manipulated the results
Weyrey, instead if her to face her adopted corntree squarely, she was busy using Nigeria as a case study even when it didn't warrant.. u go learn soon.
rinzaugustine: RIP …if you have ever lived in a western nation, you will realize that per social and good well being of actually living life, that Nigeria is far ahead of most western countries. The only problems we have are bad leadership from the insatiable endless greed of the political class stealing trillions that should go to basic services. If our thieving criminal political class can provide only only electricity, access to credit facilities for youths, security for the country and privatize the rest , I can assure you that Nigerians can build tolled roads themselves, small businesses in agriculture and retails that will create thousands of jobs, collectively build mini refineries to drive down gasoline prices through market competition etc and nobody in their right mind would be talking of traveling abroad with that
360degreess: Where are the saner clowns? Many Africans especially Nigerians think that when they travel out to all these developed countries they won't die again. They feel they will definitely grow to old age,but every time we keep hearing how some of them are been killed in the same "insecurity free" countries. So the good roads, good health care systems, stable electricity,..etc cannot stop them from dying?..
No one is saying people don't die there, but at least their killers are brought to book in case of murders. All the farmers that have been kpai'ed in their farms in the middle belt in recent weeks, how many will get justice in death, how many? I know it is people who have been denied visas over and over that type comments like yours.
GloriousGbola: People pretend to embrace conservatism, but you will note that economic migration has always been to liberal countries that at least pay lip service to human rights.
BlueRayDick: Some Nigerians don already Dey spend prop money for parties .
You would go to the party with ur real Naira notes which u will exchange with the prop money from any of the money changers designated at the venue by the event planner .
All the real money deposited with the event planner automatically goes to the celebrant . So when the guests are being entertained ,the prop money will be sprayed . As a guest who got sprayed , u can always go back to the money changers to change the prop money back to the real money . But las las na the celebrate will make more money from this arrangement sha
That makes sense, you "spray money" without any risk of breaking the law.
Fair enough. But more people still migrate even to non-English speaking European countries compared to China despite the language. I think the Chinese are not so open to welcoming foreigners compared to the West.
One comment there struck me: And yet, people around the world are dying to come here and live the American Dream you hardly ever hear about anyone dreaming of going to China to chase the Chinese Dream.
China has rapidly developed in the past few decades but you still don't see people aspire to go there... ?
Ihebu4chelsea: why are you afraid of Blocking If you don't post annoying things? I can't block anybody because I don't take most PR sponsored posts serious.
Exactly o! That's the million dollar question. I am just glad I don't have to see comments from bots, propagandists and their likes any longer.
Stolen: WHITE POLICE WOMAN, DRIVE HER CAR, PARK, OPEN DOOR ENTER ONE BLACK MAN HOUSE IN AMERICA.
SHE SHOT HIM DEAD AND NOT ONLY DID THE COURT LET HER GO ON THE GROUNDS THAT SHE MISTOOK HIS FLAT FOR HER OWN.
THEY MADE HIS FAMILY FORGIVE HER FOR KILLING HIM AND THEY DID.
MIND U, SHE DID NOT EVEN LEAVE ANYWHERE NEAR THAT AREA.
That was the case of Botham Jean, however, the police woman who shot him was living either in the flat above or below his, and secondly she was convicted and sent to jail.
Gerrard59: To be fair though, Reddit has the block feature. But yes, most commentators will abuse it to the extent discourse don't flow very well and Nairaland risks turning into an echo chamber. The one week period is great else, it would have been way worse. Your other option of ranking posts is way better. The more likes and less likes, the higher the comment gets in a thread.
This would have worked, but unfortunately A.P.C bots have found a way to generate phantom likes.
