Richtaiwo: Shut up and get the heck outta my mention if you can't relate concepts. The question of passing exam is more for you than anyone else. Buildings and aircrafts are both the handwork of engineers, yet relating them appears like a rocket science to you. Are both not about material failures? Must failure be only about one particular system? You obviously cannot explain the infallibility of your almighty US, so leave my mention alone. If you STILL can't understand the simple fact that this topic is about buildings collapsing, then I can't help you, sorry. |

Richtaiwo: All are still about system failure, so don't even attempt running away from your inability to explain. Abi na because e no suit your narrative?
Now, here is your brother talking completely off track. This is a comment on the topic about two planes colliding. I didn't see any of you telling him to focus on the topic. Explain or gtf outta my mention. I can't imagine how you approached exams in school if simple focus is this much of a struggle. If you can't understand the simple fact that this topic is about buildings collapsing, then I can't help you, sorry. |

Richtaiwo: Whataboutism?
The "we are finished" expressions, what is it? E dey hard am to explain this time, lol. So the only way out is "focus on the topic" rhetoric.
Two planes in the almighty US collided while taxiing, if it happened in Nigeria, the " finishing" experts would have said "we are finished". Focus, focus. The topic under discussion is BUILDINGS COLLAPSING. |

Richtaiwo: Explanation! Explanation!! Explanation!!!
Can we now get the explanation behind aircrafts dropping like mangoes almost every month in the US recently? I know, somehow, Nigeria will be a reason for that.
Oya, let's get the explanation. Whataboutism. We are talking about buildings collapsing, focus on the topic. It can't be that hard to do so. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: New York Building Partially Collapses Due To Explosion by yewit37486: 4:13pm On Oct 02, 2025 |
Richtaiwo: It happens everywhere? Really?
But when a building collapse in Lagos, it happens only in Nigeria shey? Don't worry? Do you see buildings collapsing so frequently elsewhere in the world? It is clear we have issues with our building standards / regulations in this country, face it, rather than being defensive. |

Trump is a genius. He actually made sure Khan was not invited to the state dinner held for him when he was in the UK last week. One thing about Trump, he speaks his mind, very unlike most politicians. |

Writing an ICAN exam is one of the best investments you can make as a youth corper.
Consult widely before drawing your conclusions.
ICAN changed my life and all the mates that wrote it with me (100%) are doing very very well.
I cannot think of any other professional membership that provides the leverage ICAN does on the scale it does. That is how the person he is mocking is saving for ICAN will succeed in life, while he will be online abusing govt that his life is not moving forward. |

HisaacPlus: The famous 1971 handshake between musicians Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey.
The handshake is historically instructive as it became newsworthy at the particular time following claims of a rivalry which lasted for many years.
Recently, Ebenezer Obey said the rivalry was a concoction by fans and the media. "The competition between myself and KSA was projected by fans and media. It almost turned our music into politics. I thank God it never happened.
Every time, it was “Obey this, Sunny that”, we both always ensured that we neutralised all that fake rivalry. This was why I said that in one-word musicians should not see themselves as competitors but as contributors to the growth of the Nigerian music industry," he said.
[/b] Words on marble. So glad we still have them both with us. |

After living 70 percent of my life in the US, it ain't easy to not go back from time to time. I have spent more time of my life in the US than Nigeria. But now, i spend more time in Nigeria. Okay, makes sense. |

PigTormentor: How can you self deport when you don't have anything back home? Most of the people who talk bad about Nigeria in this diaspora are usually people who don't have nothing to fall back on in Nigeria. I have lived for as long as this guy in diaspora but in the last 20 years, I have been living in both Nigeria and diaspora. I can easily live in Nigeria happily and comfortably. My friends who refused to come home cannot and are always wishing bad news on Nigeria just to justify their reasons for not coming back home. Most are miserable and sometimes will admit that they messed up. I.love going home, I'm always at peace and in the best state of mind whenever I'm back home. In fact, i have the same euphoria whenever I'm going home as I did when I first migrated to the US in the 80s. The excitement is comparable to a kid in a candy store. So why haven't you moved back home? Just curious given the fact you are in favour of moving back. |

drstranged: You're obviously living in a fantasy world and don't know the calamity that's befalling your health sector. Few years back, when interviews were held for doctors for hospital positions in the country for which I applied, thousands of doctors trooped in to apply. The number of applicants were so many that only a few of us were taken. But as I speak with you rgt now, even those that were taken have left. Hospitals recently advertised for job positions and not even one doctor showed up. I'm sure you've seen the news where a single doctor was placed on call duty for a whole month? That's because there are no more doctors to fill that position. No doctor is looking at Nigeria anymore. I interviewed some medical interns just this week, and ALL of them have already passed foreign exams and prepared to leave. They're just waiting for completion of their housejob and probably nysc before zooming off. By the time your hospitals are deserted you'd understand the calamity that has befallen your health sector. Doctors have been leaving Nigeria since decades ago, you are not the first and won't be the last. Feel free to leave, no one is tying you or anyone else down. |

SmartPolician: That guy is known for chasing clout. If not that he just wants to chase clout, why would he mention that he went to a hospital and waited for doctors without seeing one? What is a rich guy doing in a government hospital in Nigeria? What did he expect? Why didn't he go to a private clinic? He just wanted to announce that he can afford to travel abroad for his medical care. But he never stated it's a government hospital! |

Forumobserver12: Stop misleading the public, let the Nigerian Government do the basics first, no body is comparing Nigeria to UK or US because we understand that our realities are not the same..
Now look at countries like Indian and Cuba, is Cuba also richer than Nigeria? So why is country like Cuba enjoying better health care delivery than Nigeria?
The little money they budgeted for the health sector, how did they manage it? I believe you know the answer..... Don't mind nairalandadeux, I am yet to see someone so totally disconnected from reality, every day parroting the same disconnected tripe. |
