That was how i was hit by an Okada man while trying to cross the idiot passed one way. I was so lucky he didnt hit my tummy just my leg. Still had to go for scan to confirm if baby was ok. Thank God baby is very much healthy and kicking. I give God all the Glory that all is well.

Dear Mamas, the Doctor said my baby is breeched at 16weeks. please any hope of baby taking the rightful position before 37weeks? please i need advice from experienced mums on what to do. Thanks

MY BIRTH STORY
I had my princess last year November after TTC for almost 2 years. I couldn't go with other method of family planning other than the use of CD and besides I was on exclusive breast feeding so I never thought I could be pregnant.
I got to know when I was almost 18weeks gone. The journey was loaded with lots of package but God saw me through.
I had appointment with the doctor when I was exactly 40 weeks. He advised I should be checked and was 3-4cm dilated with the cervix still posterior according to the nurse and that was how the anxious journey to meet my Prince began. Started taking dates and pineapple like no tomorrow but all I was seeing was thick mucous discharge without blood.
At exactly 41weeks, few minutes past 1am, was having serious and close contraction. Woke hubby up and we left for hospital. Got there some minutes before 2:30am. I was checked and heard the nurse mentioning 4cm to her team and I told them to let me get down from the delivery table so as to be moving around to relieve me of the pain before i get to 10cm but they refused. Not up to 10minutes, I was told to push at the next contraction, I want to argue with them that am not fully dilated but was told that the head is so near already. After pushing few times, my Prince was delivered with 3 tears (was given one and baby created 2 others). Placenta was delivered and I was stitched and taken to the recovery room.
l started bleeding and was checked again, I was told that I had cervical lacerations. Part of the episiotomy site was loosed so as to create easy passage into the cervix. it was quite painful and was loosing so much blood that I had to be sedated. I was just hearing the nurses making calls to the doctors that there was an emergency. They make calls to the laboratory requesting for blood to be transfused, everyone was in total confusion while I was loosing my strength (don't know if its due to being anaemic or sedated). I couldn't keep up with it and even felt dead.
I later woke up few hours later when they were doing the final stitching and cleaning. I was transfused with 2pints of blood. My pcv was done the second day and was 22% ( I that had about 36% of blood before delivery).
It was a great battle won by God. I was miraculously rescued from destruction.
My Prince and myself doing great to the glory of God.

We are so grateful to God as my bouncing baby boy arrived yesterday 21/11/2017 around 2:55am via VD weighing 3.6kg. It can only be God as I was miraculously rescued from death due to cervical laceration after the delivery.
Am so grateful to everyone on this thread for all your support.

Am feeling emotional already. 40weeks+ 6days. No serious contraction, just painless irregular ones. The doctor told me that the cervix is thick and posterior when he checked me on Thursday night when I was having some contraction. Tomorrow is my next appointment with doctor. I've been having consistent thick mucous discharge without blood since Saturday, should I be worried.

With my second, I did not experience pain until I was almost fully dilated. Every child birth is not the same so this experience might be different.

I'd say go to the hospital. If you're already at 3-4cm as at yesterday and contractions has stopped, you need to get it going again.
At this stage you can't be pumped full of oxytocin, it might be just a little to get the contractions going again and since you're dilatating fast, you might only need it for a few hours.
Also you might be having a painless delivery, Just go to the hospital and get checked.

You've done this before, you can do it again and again.

Thanks ma. I've been to the hospital and was checked by a doctor and he said it's 2cm but the baby's head is still up. I was told to go home and come when labor starts.

Make una help me o. Yesterday was my edd according to scan, LMP not known. I went for antenatal and the doctor advised I should be checked when I told him I had about 3 contraction before I left home. I was checked and said to be 3-4cm dilated. He told me to call dh to bring my bag but I told him that I'll need to get home and I was not feeling any pain yet. He later released me after I signed an undertaken that I'll come when I start having regular contraction. When I got home, I rested small and had few irregular contraction in the evening, since then no show till this morning when I started having stomach pain.
Please could I be dilating painlessly. it was not like this with my first.
Should I go and report at the hospital. I just don't want to go and be waiting or being pumped with oxytocin.
