olsey abeg o,av gotten to stage 8 out of 10 bt my school isnt among d listed schools while sum schools like uniben was listed twice.i searched all tru bt osun state university aka uniosun isnt among d listed schools,even osun sate poly dey dere,so yalso am presently in 100level second semester,i no get cgpa,even my first semester result isnt out yet.pls can u proffer solution?

I did my A-levels in school of preliminary studies, offa, Kwara state. Good place. Standard facilities and some good lecturers. Downside is they have a TERRIBLE exam record. My set had ONE person with 13 points. The others(including me) was really mediocre( what the hell, very poor). It is not about the teachers but the students. As for me, I got admitted after the Mock exam. So, I just got unenthusiastic. I flunk my exam, terribly. But the knowledge I gained was really helpful. Instead of re-hashing what you already know in O'levels, more topics are added and explained indepth. The physics is still hard tho

The cost is upwards of 100K excluding exams fees in my place. Apparently, inflation affect am too. It depends on the center you choose. Some will just let you do the exam without any prior coaching( very inadvisable). The school will handle your registration and all that AFTER you paid your exams fees.

There's no need to get a form or anything. Once you find a good school and you pass their Mock exams, they will register you for the exam. The next set any school will admit now is the NOV/DEC batch. Or january.

The exam is taken MAY/JUNE and NOV/ DEC. Its a bi-annual exam. Unlike WAEC or NECO, NOV/DEC is NOT GCE. Different questions are set for the two exams
The exams is usually objective, practical and theory. Theory is usually Short Answer Questions(SAQ). Precise and concise. Objective is tricky. Practical, well, is practical.

You may not do the exams if you like. I got in with JAMB, for instance. I regret doing the exams. Knowledge matters. But if you are really sure that you are capable of 13points AFTER the tutoring, then go for it.

One more thing, I m not saying you should go to my former A-level school. If you find somewhere closer to you, Ibadan and lagos, please DO IT THERE.

i saw this thread today and i made sure i went thru it.am impressed.am a die hard aspirant of medicine,in fact,dis my third yr of seekn medicine admission.last yr,i got mcb and bch at d same tym bt i turned it down waitn 4 medicine.dis yr,i did jamb and chose uniosun 4 medicine bt unfortunately at d last minute,uniosun medicine was disaccredited due to poor facilities bt d skul is takn measures to get d accreditn back.so,i was given mcb.pls lagusta, u made mention of A level,have u help find out abt d form?wat cgpa is required of me to cross to mbbs wen my skul get its accredition?it has always being my dream to save lives
