Not all nigerian used cars are bad ,people sell their properties for diffirent reason. It is all Tokunboh cars are crisis free. A conleague of mine went to Togo to buy Tokunboh 2003 Toyota camry, The engine got spoiled before it got to Nigeria,he bought another engine for 370,000 and some months after the gear got spoiled and he had to replace it. The another good example is another colleague of mine that bought Free lander in cotonu , since the car was brought to Nigeria he had never succesful driven for a day wthout going to mechanic that it got to a stage that he had to abandone it. Am a gud example here I bought a nigerian used EOD 2004Ex full option from Abbey motor here on nairaland, for two years now the only thing I have ever changed from that car is linkages bought for# 4,000 and this is the car I drive till today. The milealage is now 111km.So u may nt be right compeletely. On my own opinion used car is used car it only depends on the person that uses that car before.

Anytime i accelerate or on motion my car will be vibrating,and i have changed d three engine seats and still it vibrates,pls I need your professional advice on this

@ web master ,I feel greatful for your response infact it has actually exposed me to many thing I was not aware of before and with this i really feel dispointed with honda as whole .I used to think that honda was the best now I know better.How can honda produce sucn an engine in the name of 2.4L engine that consume oil not even fuel I will advice other that may like to buy honda accord car should desist from it because it is not wise at all.
please what did u do to correct your own as this problem is world wide?what a disapionted honda company!

@siena, thanks so much for response.The Tps was adjusted 3 months ago when I was experiencing idle gear selection,and gear failure since when it was adjusted the gear has been normal.about your questions.
1.the grade of oil is 20w50 Lubcon premium quality multigrade lubricate;API;sjicf
2.the odometer of the car was at 99,000 plus when i did the servicing
3.How is the car driven; am a rough rider but cruise control whenever I travel and when the road is smooth
4.the odometer now is 100,000 plus

thanks for your response,I just took it to my mechanic but what he told me was that I may need to change the engine oil I used as may be too light for it that I should change it and replace it with another one.I first used mobile oil sold for 2300  when I discoverd that the oil was short i changed it to lubcon oil yet I stil experience the same thing

Please i need your advice,Eod 2004 4 cylinder engine start shortening oil.I took to my mechanic in three occassions and he told me that the engine is not leaking engine oil.Before i started  experiencing this ,I was having gear failure and my rewire adjusted something on my injector mouth and since then the gear failure stopped but this one came up again.the picture of what my rewire adjusted is below .I replaced my engine oil on sep first after i first noticing the shortening of the engine oil.my honorable member of the house I need your advice.Could it be because of the adjustment of this sensor?

the car fires very well on high speed infact the only time i enjoyed the car is when am travelling

For this i can only guess that 1 or more of your engine sitting is bad and that would make the whole car feel the engine movements and vibrates especially when you start moving but stops shaken when already moving moving. Have mechanics check the engine sitting.



thanks a lot I checked my engine sits and discoverd one was bad and I have it changed immediatelly but the problem still persists

yes it does not vibrate on speed but it only vibrates on hold up

My own experience with my honda accord 04 is almost the same but the diffrence is that my stearing vibrates volently while in holdup and u can easily see my bonnet vibrates seriously,i have adjusted my slow several time but to no avail.it was adjusted once and stable but the enging running was too high so had no option to return it back to normal slow but still vibrates.please can someone in the house advise me on what i should do,a rewire once told me that my injector mouth need to be changed .please help.
