Can anubody kindly ansa d following There's something I dont quite get with this 3rd class thingy, was there a fresh recruitment for only 3rd class only? or are the 3rd class from this alrdy waiting cadets list?? Becos if we can all remember during application 2nd class lower was the least acceptable according to what I saw, so this 3rd class thing has got me all muddled up.. Regardless glad to hear or see that movement is going on! Wonder why the already waiting cadets arnt priorities ,we kept hearing that all camps where filled wit upgrading statffs now suddenly ders space for training, shey our egg sauces said October oh well October is here we wait and see.. News I was in bichi town last two weeks my uncle asked me to stay alert because some candidates for cadets have started receiving call from DSS, And just a week later I also received call very late in the night from the DSS officer I gave my credentials to, he asked me to send some details like my Grade, my course of study, State of indigene and other information. I sent him and the next day he called again to confirm my Phone number.

The truth is when they're ready they will call. All these promotion course this and that aren't in reality affecting them calling us to camp. It's so obvious that they don't need us yet. Once they need us they will call. Keep hopes alive and keep praying

I have been following this thread for a very long time and I want to appreciate each and every one for all your contributions.
Please we should all calm down on why they haven't call yet, because if all your sources are given you correct information, they will have told you that presently there is ongoing promotional course in Lagos
and Bauchi, it will be finish by middle of Sept and last batch would also enter immediately and finish by October. So please relax and enjoy whatever you are doing now until after their promotions. Guards are in Kaduna, so all the camps are occupied for now.

Evening bro. Being following ur comments & contributions on Nairaland wit regards to Dss cadets officers training camp wic is still unknown to many. Bro., d latest development going on in d Agency is dat, d Agency is short of junior officers i.e many have moved to d senior level wit d recent promotion. As such, d Agency have cum to conclusion dat pple wit Third class Degree wud b recruited to d Rank of ASO, dats GL 07 instead of SIO coz d Agency doesn't accept such class of Degree in a real sense. I leave in Abuja and have sum1 very close that works wit d Agency at d headquarter precisely. To b honest wit u, dix is d real issue on ground unless if ur source is hiding dix 4rm u. Its already been stamped, sealed,and approved by d oga himself, d DG.

Well I don't understand the main and direct message this comment is passing. If I'm right the point is They're short of junior staffs and that's why they're recruiting guards under G and now they want to recruit third class only? What about Cadets ? Cancelled or still hanging till when ? Logically I don't think cadets will ever go to camp.

U guys should pls calm down& relax.They will surely call ..I was thinking d call wud come today...Camp will open in a jiffy..{ was assured} .Alot of persons av given up..though it's understandable...Forget about money embezzlement for now..And celebrate ur next level as a {Cadet Officer Trainee}...U may choose not to believe me but make ur phone ur best friend from now til Sunday as we awaits d congratulatory message. U won't regret doing that...

at this point, it is quite clear an obvious that no camp will be open on de 4th.
@SUCCESS & ACHIEVER,what to u guys have to say about this situation? absolutely your top sauces might not have gotten de 1st hand information just as you might have thought. we have waited and no news seems to be coming, de previous DG was more active than de present one self, if LAWAN DAURA can handle recruitment process in less than 6months an commence training, i wonder why its taking this one almost 2years for recruitment.

if actually camp is going to be opened by Sunday, then probably by now all successful cadets should have gotten de pop up message/calls by now to enable them get ready an journey to Lagos before Sunday in other to be in camp early.
we all want to be positive about this whole process but we still have doubts because theirs no sign to anything yet, so i will pls suggest that you guys should call your sources again an ask them to be honest with you guys and stop given u hopeless hopes that camp is opening on Sunday just to make u relax. de whole recruitment process is beginning to seems abortive.

I received a pop up massage that,I should register my Sim card before 19 AUGUST and should take along a valid or any Government ID card. I know theirs is nothing like Sim registration embark upon by MTN. The message couldn't be saved. House, could this be a coded message from DSS ? I am planing to go for the registration on Monday.

I beg you in the name of God like many people have said on here.....move on, do what you need to do, don't place your life on hold, give your mind some rest and look out for other opportunities.
