Darkchick: You can buy a small bag of pepper for #1500 in Azara market Kaduna road, and sold it's sold at the rate of #6500 in Lagos, a J5 bus can carry up-to 90 bags at one trip and they charge #110,000 per trip. Let's calculate. #1500 * 90 = #135,000 #135,000 + #110,000 = #245,000
A bag to be sold for #6,500 #6,500 * 90 = #585,000
So.. #585,000 - #245,000 = #340,000.
Bro, # 300,000 is sure per trip.
There are many cheap stuffs you can buy from the north and resale in Lagos. E.g you can get matured goats for #4,000 each and resale for #12k or 11k. The good thing is that you don't sell by yourself, dilaali (Hausa dealers) are readily available to sell for you while they charge a token from you.
You may think you're too big for these businesses but I bet the profit is cool. Hello dark chic, pls what can i do with 100k, av saved dat from my current work dat i'm doing and i'm tired of the job, i just want an hustle of my own, pls what can u suggest, i mean buying things from d north and reselling, i 'm based in lag. pls. |

naijjaman: Me too. I stopped tithing and now give money to the needy through my foundation named after my loving mother. Over 50 families have benefited from my foundation, including a couple of people here on Nairaland and I am happy.
The truth is that most Churches and pastors are corrupt and out of touch with the people they are meant to protect and care for.
I am still a Christian and I am actually ready to go hell for giving to the needy and not promoting the negative and adulterous lifestyles of the pastors is the main reason.
Ask yourselves this hard question: why is it that 5 out 10 richest pastors in the world are Nigerians? Mr. pls for God sake assist me financially, pls I'm going through a lot, it is inexplicable, just pls I beg u with God and if u don't want 2 do dat for me pls any work is welcome for I'm hardworking, right now I'm working in a small school but things are not just working out,Pls bros |

The10thMan: You need to be mentored on how to look for opportunities in rendering a service or providing goods or both. Then you select which is your passion or which area you are interested in. Set out your goals and get to know what it will take in terms of finance, time and skills/knowledge to reach where you want to be. Then set to work. You need to be mentored and you need to focus. What are you planning to do now? What do you do with your time? What about in NYSC? What do you plan to do with your time during service? Good morning Mr., pls help me with a legitimate work, i beg of you |

awelekiti: Amazing thread...away from politics and sports. Wow! With what I've read so far, I've got no doubts in my mind that nigeria would be ok in a few years to come as predicted. But why did buhari call our youths lazy? He needs to be arrested and prosecuted, seriously.
I made my first millions selling latex to the oil and gas sector at the age of 31. I just woke up one day, thought of what to do to make some money as I was tired of saying 'yes sir' to my employers. I've been making millions working for them but I needed to start making same, working for myself. I started with a proposal to their headquarters in lagos. I was asked to drop samples which I did, then the rest was history. I expanded the supply to pharmacy stores nationwide. As the business was threatened by nafdac on registration with politics from above by somebody who showed interest, I was pulling back gradually. I later entered the health sector with the sale of medical consumables and later major medical equipment from CT to USS, Digital X-ray, equipping hospitals, etc. I became famous in less than 10 years of doing business and recognised by the USA president. I had dined and wined with world leaders, including Barak Obama. I'm meeting Tony Blair in a global entrepreneurs' gathering soon in Washington DC.
Right now, we're planning to start manufacturing of medical equipment , the first of its kind on the African soil. It's a multi million dollar project. The facility constriction is already ongoing , somewhere in ogun state. I wish all the vibrant and upcoming entrepreneurs on this thread the very best. Believe in yourself, trust in God and the rest would be history. God bless Nigeria. Mr. Awelekiti, ejo se mo le ri ise ni odo yin ejo? even ko ba je errand boy or receptionist, pls i'm also very conversant with computer and hardworking too. ejo |
