It was at 24 just few weeks ago. Why didn't you buy then? If you didn't see it then as a bargain price then it's unlikely you'll recognise another bargain opportunity even if presents itself today

A. IF YOU'VE ALREADY BOUGHT THE STOCK
-You can continue to hold for longer period. It has just created new high
-Price likely to rest 28 in the near future

IF CONTEMPLATING OF BUYING NOW
-Wait for few weeks/months for price to fall (or more people to sell)
-Then at a later point, you can buy
-Keep the stock on your watchlist, and continue to ask question if it is good time to buy. But a fall to 15 (IF it can happen) will be a good bargain price

Please note that the stock is in Impulsive move and the stock price may continue to rise

By Short-term I mean 1 week or 2 weeks max.

Ahhh. That is not short term. Rather it is sharp sharp. Short-term should be something in the range of 6 months to 1yr.

IYGEAL:
That's the problem. Maybe they buy at lower price but record you at higher price and book the difference.

Market orders should mean selling first at the highest available price, then next highest if the first quantity is not enough. Same for buying.

My advice is that if you really want to enter or exit a trade at market price, you should use limit orders to target available quantity(-ies) until you get what you want.

The problem is when you make market order for buy and the broker chooses a higher price than the best available, or when you are selling and they choose a lower price.

Limit orders are, of course better. But there may be reasons to sometimes use market orders.

Why must they always buy for you at highest price possible and sell at lowest price possible, even when you can see better offers/bids with your korokoro eyes It obvious they programmed their system to cheat when you buy/sell with market order

Never buy or sell stocks using the MARKET option. Use LIMITS. Learnt that lesson today. These stock brokers are digital thieves

It's time for emotional control with all the profits. Gradual profit taking is good or selling into strength like other will call it so one doesn't end up with paper profit at the end of the day.

Btw, nahco is sitting pretty at #20 today. We wait to see if it can close at same price.
