Was there any target this man didn't meet...this man took us from the scraps after a local coach undecided, Sunday Oliseh dismantled the team into pieces. He made us good again, he made us believe, he brought the best out of players like Iwobi, Iheanacho, Ighalo, etc...we qualified to the "2018 WC Russia" in style beating the then Africa champions Cameroon 4-0 at home, beating Algeria 3-1 at home also.

We also played well in the WC compared to other African teams, although we didn't make it out of the group stage (solely because of Argentina and Messi) but we played with confidence.

We also played well in the 2019 AFCON but we were just unlucky to finish third after losing in the semi finals to eventual winners Algeria. The fact that Nigeria was one of the favourites to win this year's AFCON was because of what Rohr's side did in the past.

Now we the officially the laughing stock of Africa that 1-0 win against Egypt was a curse in disguise.

Romance / Re: I Asked Her, Can't Your Parent Provide Basic Needs? Are My Wrong? by yoged(m): 11:28am On Dec 05, 2021
yinkaOdutuyo:
Pls I need your advice on this.

Since have being dating my fiancee going to 3 years now, I have being doing almost all her parent responsibilities.

I was the one that sent her to school -ND1 and ND2, I paid all the semesters school fees.

I also paid her 2 years rent, when she was in the school. All her handouts and school bills were paid by me. Even till feeding.

Her parent are just to poor, that they can't even provide what they'll eat for themselves.

I did almost everything within my power to provide for her and help her parent atimes with some little I can afford.

Now she's done with her ND programme, am planing to enrol her for a professional Catering Job, which is amount to almost 250k.

At times she come to my place and spent like 2weeks, 3 weeks or even 1 week with me.

So of a recent her mom asked her to come home and spend some days with them.

She now called and ask me for feeding money, but I was angry and I asked her, Can't your parent provide basic needs? Like feeding, clothes etc. You'll be in my house I'll provide what you'll eat and when you're in your parent too, I'll still be the one to provide what you'll eat. Didn't your dad go out every morning to go and work?

I just told her, that if her parent can't provide basic needs, I don't think is proper.

And again she's the type that want to wear what other ladies are wearing and want to up to standard.

And I didn't send any money to her.

I just want to know if am wrong for asking her that. because her dad is alive and mom is healthy, but they're always broke and no money, that they hardly feed 3 square meals.
. Bro i was in your shoe . I did everything for her , ( but she is hardworking ). school, feeding and accommodation. And at times I do help her parent .but when her parent and siblings wants to turn me to money making machine. Her mom, elder sister and 2 siblings will keep asking me for money . me I told her the relationship can't work mainly because of her family .she cried and apologise. She went home and para for them that none should ever ask me for money. Since then it stopped. We are married now with children . Also I limit the mum and siblings from coming to my house. I explained respectfully and calmly to my wife . and she understood.my obligation is to take care of my wife and children.. If I have extra money, I do send them. But don't put the responsibility on my head. Speak to your girlfriend. Understanding is what matters most. If things keep going like this and you get married to her. I swear you'll be carrying the family responsibilities.

This is the question I wanted to direct at you and others saying Nigeria should ask for AU troops.
I am already past conscription and recruitment age but how can someone with a functioning brain suggest Nigeria should ask for help from other African countries?
why can't we ask for help ? What's special about this Country. Seems you are still drowned in the past glory. Haven't we be assisted by Cameroon, chad before. So wtf are you talking about . if youve passed the age .I'm sure you have siblings , or relatives .

It is other African countries that will save the lives of our soldiers.
220m Nigerians and another African country of 10m people would have to send 2000 men to help you fight Boko Haram of less than 10,000 highly mobile fighters.

Please drop your phone or laptop and think.

It is because young people think like this in Nigeria that I will never vote anyone below 45 years of age ağain for a long time.

You people are not on earth to live life.
. 220m yen yen. Sitting comfortably in your house spitting trash. How about you go join the army and be posted to Lake chad area.

It's high time we rally support from ECOMOG and AU or even the UN to come assist us with both men and equipment; if we can rally about 10,000 contingents of these regional forces to take on these terrorists head-on it will go a very long way in this war. It's getting obvious that the military is overwhelmed/overstretched coupled with the fact that they're heavily underfunded especially the Nigerian Army. We should tuck in this big brother abi na giant of Africa mantra in our pockets and seek for assistance anyway and anywhere we could this war has already lingered for too long we can't build a nation in a perpetual state of internal-war.
. Buhari will never agree to that bro. . just wasting the lifes of our soldiers
