Not a bad day. Today showed that the market obeys technical analysis, DXY bounced from a demand point, but generally dollar suppose to be in downtrend.

The fact that Russell survived the day is an indication that stock market is still in uptrend.

TAKING SOME PROFITS OFF THE TABLE ON EQUITIES THAT JUMPED UP RECENTLY WILL NOT BE A BAD IDEA
Market is bullish for the medium term. However, where we see our position threatened, we may have no option but to take some profits.

For example with 19% in my pocket from MARA (bought just about one week plus), if I see another 10% added today and come tommorow, I see a bearish signal l, plus a bearish pattern, I will take my profit wait on the sideline or probably use part of the profit to buy one of Warren Buffet beaten down stocks for my coffee can portfolio.

I am amazed at the opportunities in this market. The market is returning to the way it was when stocks were very bullish.

I see this forum bubbling again. For us old timers, we have made some gains at the beginning of this bullish market, and also as we are always in the market we know where the profits are!!!

So we say welcome to the returning member and new ones in advance. What I tell people is know whom to take advice from, take most of your recommendations from the person that is consistent and knows the market like the back of his hand.

On a paring note, let us look at the XME CONSTITUENTS, silver has good momentum, but since most gold stocks are also into silver, I will be comfortable with a stock that produces both. BTG and if you are risk averse, go for GGN.

TODAY'S MARKET ACTION SOMEHOW IS A MOVE AGAINST THE TREND?
Sudden gain of strength for the dollar is no suprise, the dollar was in downtrend and it got to an exterem, so bouncing back is no big deal. I will like to watch the resistance point of 103.80 as the limit for this dollar dead at bounce.

If the dollar retreats from the 103.80 then stock are likely to gain more momentum. So, as usual, I will have a sound sleep tonight as usual knowing that my trades are safe (we are in bullish trend looking at the medium timeframe).

BULLS NOT JUMPING IMMEDIATELY AS EXPECTED

We should mark our calendar today 30 November 2023. Early in the day. the handwriting on the wall is already bullish (Chinese stocks may miss out of this, problem with Chinese market is the fact that people do not trust the news as Government only release what it want people to hear, unfortunately the recent Nigerian regime is towing this Chinese system of feeding out wrong news to the people, so all the shout for foreign investors to come to Nigeria that Nigeria is a safe place will definitely be ignored, as we need to be truthful that we are truly addressing the issues of insecurity, dilapidated infrastructures etc).

If is possible OPEC may add small petrol to the bullish fire today!!! On our expected upward gold move, thesis still intact asper intermarket analysis, so no need to exercise any fear yet.

GLOBAL STOCK MARKET LOOKS LIKE A JUNGLE BUT THERE IS ORDER IN THE SYSTEM

Again, I will say the Global stock market is where to be, we put our money in a "good stock" (what is good stock is based on knowlege of the market/stock, sector rotation, quality scanning criteria etc) and then manage our position. Obeying the rule of keeping our loss small/avoid trading to front run strong news/earnings report is key to market survival.

Currently, METALS (GOLD, I will say new traders should avoid silver stocks) and GENE editing stocks are in play at the moment.

As regards moving some of our activities to TROVE due to availability of more stocks, the plan is on and will materialize soon as I am going to consolidate some low value holdings to ensure that each trade will be able to absorb the minimum commission (for Trove if you do no do a minimum of $50 for every transaction, your commission paid will make the commission unreasonably expensive, per say the commission is not too high if every transaction you do is above the $50 equivalent, please nobody is spending $ here, we use Naira equivalent, this is important to clarify before some people will misinterpret this post and say some people are USING USD, we deposit NAIRA)

REVIEWING THE CHARTS AS AT 22 NOV - 5AM WAT
Generally, the market is trending up. However, the scaring remark from FED concerning rate hike seems to be like a notice of caution which market believed is unnecessary.

As usual we want to protect our capital first and put gains secondary. Most of the SPDR sector indexes are moving up, even XLF that is down is even having a strong support. A good candidate her is EPD(good for dividends).

Tech stocks are making a comeback??

MARKET IS GETTING VERY SWEET BUT CHAKA HAS FALL MY HAND

I am giving serious consideration to start moving some of my trading to TROVE. Actually, I am more at home with the foreign based APPS, like now I cannot do without SPROUTIFI. Chake is just on standbye and basically for my *coffee can strategy/plan".

Theses days I am not interested in writing to any APP that they need to add a stock that is not available to their platform as I have alternative platform to use. This is a market, if you do not have what I want to I move to another store or platform and do my transaction, at least you are making some profit from transaction) although it may look small for now).

So fast Howard, Chaka not having a stock like AEHR is unacceptable (thank God for SPROUTIFI, you can get most good stocks here, except that the commission is lower compared with TROVE that has nearly all stocks available in SPROUTFI, except for the higher commission and the fact that you have to trade minimum of $50 at a time to get reasonable commission).

So, I am moving some of my action to TROVE, the $50 minimum per transaction may not be a big deal once we made up our mind, but I hope the platform will not have regular breakdown?). For now I am limiting myself to the 3 platforms I have mentioned here, except a big firm like the old PASSFOLIO shows up again.

I see more newbies joining us soon. The Nigeria market is too dull and with too many disadvantages for small individual investors (many companies there are close to pure fraud, there are companies/individuals that should have been banned from raising money from the capital market that are in that system, I will not mention any name, buy if you do "buy and hold" for some Nigerian stocks, especially those not paying dividend, it would have been better you go and throw the money into the Lagoon, at least you know you will not see the money again, I read how stock bought for N1m or so become 11,000 (eleven thousand Naira after over ten years !!! Yes, story was in this Nairaland, however, I did not bother to read it, since the person was talking about Nigeria, you know when you see the word Nigeria and fraud side by side, it is no more new, it is like a normal thing).

30 minutes after market opening tommorow, OCTOBER CPI report would be out. Initially, response would be negative no matter the outcome. However, if the report is favorable (inflation is lower than Forcast, then expect the bulls to take over the market for the medium term).

MARKET IS IN KILLER MODE AT A POINT WHERE BULL OR BEARS CAN WIN ANYDAY
Market was bullish this week Friday, but please do not start jumping up that bulls are back!!! Monday and early Tuesday, the bear is likely to be back strongly and from late Tuesday onwards, the bull have to take over all things beign equal.

Wishing all the best. This is the best place to be for US stocks. Why, this is where you get more update comment/analysis and by God's grace we will get better ( I am sure I have the Support of our GO here). People should not worry much our GO is in the mountain to pray for the bulls to come back to the market. I will only comment on the long term prospect. AI have just started, equipment makers are the current beneficiaries and the long term belongs to AI software makers (for best AI software stocks our private group member will be given specific names).

Just think of AI as the development of social media, see now social media has now become: medium of obtaining justice (Mohbad case). a very useful tool on recovering debt from reactant debtors especially if it is a company (if ant company is owing you and they have a web presence, just joking the it group and post their, I am sure they will beg you that they will pay, I have experienced this), AI can replace some professions and render some professions useless (who will need Customer service staff ater AI is fully developed, few, Customer service staff have to become real marketers or upgrade to become AI operators themselves) etc.

So conclusion. Investment in AI is not likely to go wrong, as long as you buy strong companies.

THIS IS SUMMARY OF POWELL' SPEECH
FED Chairman has spoken!!! Sometimes I wonder how a Fed Chairman will be comporting in the public, since every word he speaks always creat reaction in the market.

This POWEL speach is bearish for the short term. So what do we do with it. Depending on our portfolio, the sectors that are weak will be first at risk. Looking at our charts, the first casualty will be "Cooper related stocks". So may be a good time to take pf8t on some ogmf them??

I am busy with other things, but if no volunteer, I may give a summary. With what I saw, what POWEL said must be well for stock, unemployment for the week looks higher than expected, probably this may have tied Powell's hand on rate hikes. We see later.

TODAY IS LIKE "DAY OF BITCOIN"
Looking at the premarket, Bitcoin stocks will do well today.

Just like the Chinese use to name every year we too can name the day, we will call today or this week "THE WEEK OF THE BITCOIN STOCKS"

If we are wondering, how is it that we are in the market nearly everyday!!! Our strategy is to ensure we have some stocks that serves as backups or our defence line (these are the dividend paying stocks). So even if I am not putting fresh funds into the market, I should have inflows from my dividends and this I can invest as soon as they are paid.

Chaka has made this strategy to be possible, such that if I receive $0.02, I can use it and my commission is still limited to 1.5% per trade (quite high, but looking at the Nigeria environment, it should be manageable or we can say it is a fair deal, although not the best)

I CANNOT SEE ANY LOCAL MARKET THAT CAN BEAT THIS GLOBAL STOCK MARKET!!!
With the numbers of equities/ETF available (over 8,000 to 12,000), you have so many stocks to chose from.

Also, the size of stocks also present some challenges, as you will need some form of technology/screener to know which one will be profitable. So for those who want to learn with their money and on their own, I wish the Goodluck.

For today we look forward to Powell's speech about one hour after market opening and another FED speaker again towrda market closing. If Powell's speach doesn't bring down the market (I doubt if it would, Powell has already had his day last Wednesday), this will be a big bosser to the bulls. We fold our hands to see.

For whoever cares, again we added another bitcoin related stock yesterday (HUT).

I envisage the time is coming when more people will rush into the Global stock market!!! And for the first time they are likely to receive a baptism of fire (they will be confronted with losses, except they try and study the long-timers, but most long timers (especially the profitable ones) will have no time to give their knowledge for free!!!
