We need to try something new as the present police force appears to be overwhelmed with just about 400,000 for a population of over 250 million. I know some federal police officers and I can tell you that some spend about 2 weeks on duty before getting a few days off and that to me is not good for the mental health.

Most public institutions in Nigeria are overwhelmed. I work in the health sector and I can tell you that this is one of our challenges.

Adding state police to compliment the efforts of the federal might help improve security situation just as we have street security guards in our neighbourhood.

Just this evening on my way from work, I saw 5 soldiers guarding a Chinese construction worker. These are soldiers that could have been in the front line reducing terrorist activities.

Studying a course that does not have potential may not be wise especially if one doesnt have the right connections to put the person through.

I know a man that was deported from UK and came back to Nigeria. He is a big boy farmer now and is always balling. Extreme weight loss and late presentation to the hospital facilities reduce chances of survival.

1. Few weeks ago I sent money to my gateman who was hungry and needed foodstuffs, the money hanged for days. I had to send him another money and then start sending emails because thier customer care numbers don't go through.

2. Today,I have tried buying prepaid units , I have been deducted but yet to see token.
The painful thing is that it is my salary account.

I am not supporting Dangote but there has been an increase in fuel prices in the US,Europe and Asia since the war on Iran started due to closure of the strait Hormuz which is responsible for transportation on 20% of the the global energy.

I just saw on one of the threads here that Bangladesh closed down all universities in the country so as to reduce fuel consumption.

Go and read physical planning regulation of lagos state. Any building the is a structural threat or without approval willl be demolished after service of notices

Demolition of buildings occurs in Abuja,Ibadan, South East etc so stop complaining about Lagos.

I think this cancellation is due to the chaos of the Eyo festivals. The government has learned not to organise gatherings any longer.

National grid collapsed at about 2pm on 29/12/25 so many people will try and get fuel for the night.
