EducationWhat Are The Implications Of Extension Of Service Year In NYSC by yongflex20(op): 1:21pm On Aug 25, 2023
Good day everyone. I believe you are all having a great day. Please I have some questions regarding extension of service by NYSC.
If someone gets an extension of service year(by 1 or 2 months) in NYSC? What are the implications based on:

1. Will it reflect on his/her NYSC certificate?
2. Where will he/she be doing his/her biometric for the period of his extension?
3. Will he/she be going to his/her PPA and CDS regularly or where will he/she be reporting to?
Thanks

Educating people on the importance of Planting of trees is very important and as educating people on(against) deforestation. It will help save our ecosystem. Our air is so polluted (from vehicular gases) that the only solution, maybe is presence of good, quality air from plants

Why are Africans overating Israel??

Before Christ, Romans conquered Israel, even during his time, Israel was occupied by the Romans.

At little after Jesus the Jews made the Romans angry and they massacred the jews, drove them away from Israel. for about 2000 years from then, the jews were second class citizens every where they go.

The christians persecuted them for what they did to Chris, the Arabs were flogging their yansh any time they deemed fit. Hitler did his own. Till the Europeans decided to have mercy on them and create a state for them.

The so called 6 day war only succeeded because the Arabs just gained independence and didn't had any air force nor good military. The Europeans trained and gave Isreal weapons, especially their air force.

The only time Israel met a strong force Hizbollah backed by Iran they lost.

Israel look strong around its Arab neighbors, beyond that, its a different game entirely.
You see, the Persians or Iranians (as they are called today) aint arabs, they walk the talk, if u know what I mean...for far too long now, they've been daring Israel to stop barking and attack them as it has been saying it would for God knows how long now.

But nothing has happened, you know why? because Israel dont have the balls to fight a formidable opponent without bigdaddy USA military support. And the support is not forthcoming either, because a war with the Persians is too risky even for the US.

US can not sacrifice the lives of its citizens to go die for your "mighty" Israel over Iran. So the US snubbed Israel and chose to dialogue with the Iranians over their Nuclear program.

The only hands preventing isreal's defeat are those of America, Britain and the western world. If US remove their support, Israel is dead!!

Anybody that really thinks that God loves some other people more than he likes him or that some other people are more of Gods children than him is a sophisticated Akuya!!

HealthCan Methamphetamine(ice Or Meth) Cause Mental Problem? by yongflex20(op):
There is kind of a little difference between Methamphetamine(Ice or Meth) and some other illicit drugs like Alcohol, Marijuana and Indian hemp. When taking the latter, you know when you get high(intoxicated ) and stop but when taking the former, you don't get high (intoxicated ) or at least know when you get high (intoxicated) and thus you will never know when you take an overdose or know when to stop.( I'm not trying to say Marijuana is anyway better than Methamphetamine)
I checked online to see the health hazards of taking these stimulants (e.g Methamphetamine, Cocaine etc) and I saw Excessive thinking, Insomnia, psychosis and many more.
And my personal experience down here, I have a friend who is addicted to Methamphetamine(Ice or Meth), and suddenly he is acting like someone with acute mental disorder; unable to sleep, talks to himself, complaining, depressed and angry
So i'm asking, have you seen anyone that is so addicted to this Stimulant drug and also suffering from any of the above mentioned illnesses? What measured should we take to bring him to normalcy? Thank you

PoliticsYou Are Nigeria’s ‘divider-in-chief’, Presidency Replies Obasanjo by yongflex20(op): 9:01pm On Sep 13, 2020
The Presidency on Sunday came down hard on former President Olusegun Obasanjo over his Thursday’s comment on the state of the nation, describing him as the country’s ‘Divider-in-Chief.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said this in a statement titled “Obasanjo is Nigeria’s Divider-in-Chief”
Obasanjo had on Thursday said Nigeria was slowly becoming a failed state and a basket case that urgently needs to be pulled from the brink of collapse. Speaking while delivering a speech titled “Moving Nigeria away from tipping over” at a consultative dialogue in Abuja, the former President said he had never seen Nigeria so divided, adding that many of the problems plaguing the country today were due to the recent mismanagement of Nigeria’s diversity. But Shehu said with his comment which he described as unfair attacks on the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), and his regime, Obasanjo had descended from the lofty heights of a Commander-Chief.

“In his most recent statement, former President Olusegun Obasanjo attempts to divide the nation while President Muhammadu Buhari continues to promote nation building and the unity of Nigeria.

“The difference is clear. From the lofty heights of Commander-in-Chief, General Obasanjo has descended to the lowly level of Divider-in-Chief (to adapt the coinage of Time).”

The presidential aide said as some commentators were already suggesting, Obasanjo should, in accordance with his mantra as a statesman, get involved with problems solving, when and where they exist instead of helping the “mushrooming of a poisonous atmosphere of ethnic and religious nationalism.”
He said the former President must have disappointed many of his local and foreign admirers by showering commendations on a few extremist groups who have vowed to shun the invitation to the National Assembly to participate in the process of constitutional amendment.
Shehu added that Obasanjo must have left his admirers confused in announcing the support for the boycott of a democratic process of changing the constitution, at the same time calling for dialogue and engagement.

The statement added, “The fact that the process he ushered in under his administration with the dubious intention of amendments that sought tenure elongation failed-as did two other attempts by the successor administrations of the same political party- does not in any way justify his dismissal of the exercise by the 9th Assembly as another waste of time and resources.

“To the credit of the All Progressives Congress-led 8th Assembly, the process of constitutional amendment was kickstarted and carried through, paving the way for, among other benefits, the financial independence of local government councils, states Houses of Assembly and the country’s judiciary. These changes have already been signed into laws by the President as mandated by the constitution.

“The recent decisions by the administration as they relate to subsidy withdrawal, helping to plug some of the most horrendous notorious holes and release of scarce resources for the more pressing needs of the people has also not escaped the ire of the former President.

“It’s a known fact that the withdrawal of subsidies had been on the wish list of the Obasanjo-led Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. They failed in achieving these measures because, one there was a shared greed. They plundered the treasury as much as anyone could in the name of either subsidy or waiver with reckless impunity.

“Two, is to say it takes courage and rare statesmanship on the part of a leader to do as President Buhari to shun populism and seek the best interest of the people and the state, providing the kind of reform and development that Nigeria urgently needs.”

First and foremost, you forced yourself on him, so he don't have any respect for you and that was why he blocked you. So, If you go and apologize to him, he will never take you serious but will see you as a desperate Lady. I'll advice you to focus and look forward for someone that really loves you. A guy is to force himself on you and not the other way round.
