Education / Re: Poor Grades In School: Come To My Aid Nlders, I Need Your Advice by yooglodotcom: 10:49am On Dec 11, 2015
1. OP, The first thing you must do to start your recovery is to stop living for your dad or anyone else but for YOU. Become what you love to be not what anyone loves you to become.

2. The problem with your poor results may simply be how you present your answers to the examiner from my experience. It took me until 3rd year to understand why those that make As dont usually collect extra sheets like most of us that do and end up with the Cs.

Action Points:

1. Read through each course twice before mid semester
2. From mid semester focus on solving and documenting answers to at least 3 previous question papers. Lectures are too lazy to event new questions at least 90% of them.
3. Get someone especially a lecturer to help you review your answers to one of the answers to one question paper and give you honest opinion.
4. Get in there and pour out what you have already rehearsed.

This is how first class is made by smart but not gifted people.

When you look back 5 years later you will laugh at your frustration of today as you would see how little they really are in the bigger pictures of life.

Take advantage of the God-live you have and try to focus a little of that anointing you use for many other godly things to your academics and you will be amazed.

I have always insisted that University environments may be more corrupt, wicked and vile than the other Nigerian environments/institutions proportionately. The list is not complete. At least all federal and state universities and polys must be listed.

Next time try Lagos Emergency Number. It works better than calling DPOs and personal police officers numbers. It is also toll free.

Religion / Re: Anita Oyakhilome Shades Ex-husband, Pastor Chris by yooglodotcom: 1:28pm On Dec 03, 2015
contactmorak:
Estranged wife of popular Lagos Pastor, Chris Oyakhilome, Anita, yesterday December 2nd, took to her blog to thank God for pulling her out of mess and making her lead a life now free from abuse. Anita and Chris Oyakhilome have been separated since last year. What she wrote below ...

[b] "December is the last month of the year I start every month thankful and for this month of December I am eternally grateful. I am worthy of love, to give and receive. I have value and self-respect, no one has the ability to oppress, suppress or depress me. I am enough and complete in God. My today is better than yesterday.

I have come to a place of wholeness, strength and joy. God pulled me out of mess; I have a happy life free from abuse. No one can take the place of God; he is sovereign and reigns forever. Man is mortal and his days on earth are numbered. When the end comes, it is a glorious thing to return to our maker, to dwell in His holiness and truth. The end of the year brings a rebirth of another year. The death of something can be the rebirth of another thing. All is not lost. Whatever happens in your life, no matter how distressing things might seem. When darkness appears endless, watch out for that tiny spark of light, when you can muster up the courage to thank God for closed doors. In the process of counting your blessings, you find joy!".

Dial 727 - Lagos State Emergency code.

It is free call and you will get an immediate response to report any emergency instead of exposing yourself unnecessarily.

Try it one day and you will be happy you did. Be Wise!
Business / Re: Importation Business As Plan 'B'. The Nitty Gritty. by yooglodotcom: 4:14pm On Oct 26, 2015
madgoat:

Just curious, but if everyone is importing the same goods in the group at a cheap rate, how will it be easy for all of them to sell it since the 'market' is sort of now flooded wt the same imported goods.

It can never be enough for Lagos consumption alone when you consider how many containers of same products are landing everyday courtesy of the big time importers. We are millions in this country.
Business / Re: Importation Business As Plan 'B'. The Nitty Gritty. by yooglodotcom: 5:19pm On Oct 20, 2015
I have no regret ever joining this group even if I got thrown out today; I already got 1000 times the worth of my registration. I love learning especially business related stuff and for real this is the best investment I have ever made on business learning in a long while.

I was among the first people to join the group and part of the first order despite the risk of sending money to an unknown face on the internet. The reason is that as an online expert, I did my diligent investigation of Abbeyforex and had good enough reason to trust him in this business.

You must answer this capital question anytime you are being tempted to throw your hard earned money to the many out there who live on selling information than using their information - what is the person's gain/motive for giving out his acclaimed secretes?

Abbeyforex and plan B's gain/motive for asking you to join is simply to be able to import any goods at cheapest rate hence more profit for Abbey and the members. Monopoly of the niche market if you know what I mean. The more members in the group the easier it is to dominate the niche market by offering to buy the quantity the china man cannot refuse for the least possible price.

Another big advantage is the fact that the group has dedicated product researchers that ensures you are most likely gona buy salable and profitable goods. More good heads are surely better than one!

to be continued may be....
Sports / Re: Why I Removed Enyeama As Eagles Captain — Oliseh by yooglodotcom: 9:20am On Oct 08, 2015
Everyone deserves respect; the coaches as much as the players. Even as a father you must give your kids respect which in turn gives them the need confidence to succeed in life.

The timing of Olise's action was completely wrong and insensitive even though he has the right to choose whoever he wants to lead the team. Humility and humiliation are not related.

Olise may need training on people management and change management skills. He must learn to prepare people for changes that will impact them positively as well as negatively. He might not have even discussed his change with Musa and if he did then why not discuss same with Enyama before announcing same in such environment. The motive is humiliation of Enyama which was not necessary.

Money comes as a result of problem solved except for charity.

Find a problem and solve it then demand commensurate money for it. You must not be stuck with the 'medicine' you studied if every problems within your reach has been solved. There are many problems everywhere no one is interested in solving; reach out with dignity to solve one.

You never know how many you will later employ if the solution is properly packaged and effectively sold.

Politics / Re: “Appointment Of More Northerners” – Buhari Finally Opens Up by yooglodotcom: 11:07am On Sep 09, 2015
In as much as he has played within the constitutional provision, no blames.

If Nigerians think it is wrong them start the change with the constitution. I think the crucial point made is that he has chosen like minds that will help him deliver.

No praise or blames until his result comes out in the next couple of months or years. PMB should make his decision and take responsibility for it within the ambit of our laws.

With proper branding and marketing as he is doing already, even the poor will queue to buy and brag about this product with their neighbours. It does not happen only in Nigeria but all over the world. Lets watch and see....

The packaged water started as pure water of 5 naira and not long the packaging took over and what do we have today? If common water can make millionaires in few years, I do not see how garri will not do better.

married men no dey make mistakes?

Why are many people these days configured this way? Instead of focusing on what to learn from the post, your response is going defensive first? Everything is adjudged a mistake these days even avoidable and willful errors. People should stand up and take responsibility for their actions, mistake or no mistake accept the consequences of your actions and do not out of convenience transfer them to innocent people around you.

No offense @ylaa but I think the topic deserve a better comment.

These people are really learning from us, I wrote about this in my frontpage article!

The process is slow and it seems the management is incompetent as compared with the implementation of the BVN, but it should be implemented by law so that we have a unique ID system in Nigeria.

With your National ID, you should qualify for certain incentives like loans, overdraft etc, it would be mandatorily needed by banks as soon as it is implemented, so that they will tie every person to their accounts nationwide. Banks will even stop asking for collateral for certain amounts of money because you can no longer run with their money and if you do, they already know where you went to because the system is also tied to your international passport, drivers license etc and once you leave the country, they know where you are and they will easily write to the host country that you're a fugitive

Also, once you're arrested by the police, the first thing they do is take your thumbprint and your details come up immediately, that offense is recorded and your crime history is easily available to law enforcement to track you and invite you for questioning when you are spotted within a location where a crime is committed, that's the system used abroad to draw up a list of suspects when a crime has no face on it

Also, before you rent a house, your landlord gives you a form and requests your Identity which he uses to run a background check with the authorities to know if you have outstanding criminal cases like child abuse (in case he has kids that could be vulnerable).
Before you get a job, get admission into school, run for a political appointment, get a loan from the bank or lending company etc, a bankground check is done with your identity

It has been long overdue in a country like Nigeria having serious security issues and abuse of office and power issues.

You are spot on!

Even Nigeria fraudulent population figures and distribution will once and for all be resolved if same can be scaled to accommodate everyone apart from the adults. We will not need to spend hundreds of billions for more staged census riddled with ethnic and tribal bias.
