Politicians in Nigeria often prioritize their personal interests over the well-being of the people. Their support for or opposition to any policy is usually driven by selfish motives rather than genuine concern for the public. Regardless of their political affiliations, many have contributed to division along religious, ethnic, and tribal lines, making it difficult for the nation to unite. It is important to remain aware of these tactics and not be swayed by empty promises. |

Anything is possible in Nigeria Political space. I still believe they are all the same. Non is worth supporting or defending... They are all selfish and fighting for their own interests only. I could see that you are all quoting Nigeria constitution as if it is something important. Even the Lawyers and Judges always argue about most what is written in it. It is full of garbage. I just hope one day, we would unite and take back our Country from these people. |
osuofia2:He has been fighting all along. He didn't manage the State Assembly well. Fubara could win war against Wike but, can't win war against State Assembly. They all won on a single ballot. And the worse of all, he need them as they need him too. Fabara is as guilty as Wike if not worse. In the history of this country, not even a President could remove a whole 90% of lawmakers from either Chambers. Fubara and Wike are both selfishly fighting for Supremacy over the interest of the State they claim they love. Nigeria politicians are the same everywhere. No single one is worth my support. |
Chegesnd:I never knew you guys hate us this much. I have quite a lot of you as close friends. I need to be more careful.... Many Yorubas could die supporting Peter Obi. I know too many of them who couldn't sleep for weeks to see him win. Peter Obi won in Lagos because many Yoruba voted for him. What have we done to make you hate us this much? |
bmaster2000:Even most of us that are not Christians used to watch her shows. She brought sanity into many homes. Her style of teaching was very practical, helps promote moral, love and confidence in marriages. Help singles find right matches and help them build a mature and healthy lifestyles in marriages. |
What most people don't know is that she died while trying to rescue those children. She could have survived. |
Village headmaster Feyikogbon - nigba na la o ma onto sele(Ayo Magaji) Things fall apart, things fall apart, things fall apart, fall apart, fall apart. Arelu Amar Akbar Anthony(Dharmendra and Anthony) |
codemaniacs:The aviation ministry could be blame for that. At least, let's appreciate this one for doing what he is appointed to do. Imagine, if they are all performing like this.. |
StraightGaay:This is too much for anyone to say on a platform like this. If care is not taken, Nairaland would be used to promote war. How could someone use this kind of word on people of over 1.9billion? |
hope4nigeria:So, this is your justification for that comment. Two wrongs can't make a right. If they are heartless and wicked, don't be the same. If what they report here happened to animals, we should feel so sad, let alone human beings. I cry for this country. |
hope4nigeria:You are very heartless. So, this is what tribalism has reduced some of you to. This is a very sad news for God's sake. |
SmellyNyash:You are the most stup*d human being ever existed. I can't just ignore this comment of yours. |

There is rumour going round that Seyi Makinde is planning to use Shina Peller as his preferred running mate for the next four years. Also, the man in question has been rendered useless from day one in office. GSM completely abandoned most of people that helped him and worked tirelessly to ensure he became Governor. So many of them have left the party including founding members of PDP in the state. |
Mino Raiola, the Italian 'super agent' of football stars such as Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has died aged 54, according to reports in his homeland. Raiola was also the agent of Everton striker Moise Kean, currently on loan at Juventus, as well as Mario Balotelli, whose transfer to Liverpool he brokered in 2014. It was recently reported in Germany that Raiola had been in intensive care for a lung condition not linked to COVID, before reports emerged from Italian TV station Tg La7 that he'd passed away on Thursday. Raiola was born in Italy in 1967 before spending much of his youth in the Netherlands. He made his name working on transfers for players such as Dennis Bergkamp and Pavel Nedved, establishing himself as one of football's most high profile intermediaries. |
Congratulations madam. You really merit the position.... Back then, when Dr Jonathan wanted to re-appoint you as Finance minister, I was opportuned to be close to the Ministry. Most of the staff didn't want you back because you don't tolerate corruption and laziness. Though, they agreed that you were the best they've ever worked with. Politics, religion, and tribalism will not let most Nigerians admit your great achievements for the country while you were there. You rose to the zenith at World Bank. If not for world politics, you would have emerged as President of World Bank, being the best candidate for the post. You have occupied different positions at world stage in economic reforms, making you the most qualified for this job. I know you have what it takes to perform beyond expectations at WTO. I pray for God to guides and guard you right. |
For SMEs to develop in this country goes beyond all these. Too many sectors in Government are created to kill SMEs all in the name of regulations, maintenance, security, protection, bribery, association etc. The running cost is too high. Those who are in business will understand better. |
What about people like me that are no longer using the sim registered with the NIN? The app can't work for us. There are so many unanswered questions? Our Government only think after taken decision. They only take decision when they are directly affected. And their decision always exempt them. What a country!!! |
Modo9:Pls, just return to Nigeria and let me go there to replace you. Nigeria is not better than any country in world. |
So, why joining him with corrupt leaders for the award? So, caterial did you use in picking other awardees? |
onyechez:Overrated? I totally disagree with you. Most of them don't spend to much money in producing good movies because of piracy. Movies like Citation, Set up, black oil, Living in bondage etc cost a lot of money to produce. These are world standard movies but, piracy won't encourage production of such movies. Kunle Afolayan over reacted but, PIRACY kills Nollywood. Thank God for cinema. |
Ratello:You make me laugh. Please, leave our Tinubu for us. Face your people in the east. He is the only man, we the Yoruba's know, and it is only he, we trust. If you are not pleased, leave our land, and go to develop yours in the east. We accommodate you, you hate us. You even call our land, no man's land, which no tribe can say on your soil. You always insult us because, we vote for who we want and not party. Whereas, it is our right to vote for candidate of our choice. Unlike you, that vote for party despite their very low performance. Why do you hate us so much, when we love you so much? We gave you a step, you took a mile. If not for Tinubu, you would taken over our Land. That is why we love him. And you hate him because he is the only one who is stopping you from taking over Lagos. Pls take it slow. Give us the respect that we so much deserve. Live with love. |
PUSSYBBQGRILLS:Reading a comment like this is so annoying... So, you can do the same for a 2-year old child? |
Hmmmm. We don't know how true this is. All eyes on Lagos APC Gubernatorial primaries. |
MakeWeTalk:I just don't know the need for all these. It was reported that someone died and you are typing this? Nigerians always claim to be religious yet, this country is this worse. If you can't sympathize with the family of the deceased, you don't have to attack other people's religion. If you are very sure of making heaven then pray for death, to go and meet your Lord. |
I don't even see any wrong in this her dress.
