This was the approach taken by one a canny Lithuanian, who knew he’d have to work extra hard to stand out from the crowd in the fast-moving San Francisco employment market.

25-year-old Lukas Yla relied on his experience as a marketing specialist to come up with his cunning plan, hoping to make his five year dream of working in San Fran come true.

The go-getter arrived in the U.S. in August, and his unusual job-seeking approach has already helped him secure job interviews at many of the city’s top ad agencies.

Dressing as a courier for delivery firm, Postmates, Yla personally delivered donuts to his target companies.

The boxes of treats contained a note with the link to his LinkedIn page, alongside this note: “Most resumes end up in trash. Mine - your belly.”
