Nazgul: The rule of the thumb when drinking with your so called friends are as follows...
1. Always finish your drink before going to urinate.
2. Never drink from a glass whenever you're drinking with more than one person, always request for straw.
3. After coming back from the toilet, and you want another drink, request for another straw as well. Don't use the same straw you left behind.
4. Never discuss your success with friends over a drink. It's most likely going to stir up their envy.
5. Don't join them in eating anything you didn't personally order for, be it meat, ponmo, gizzard, chicken, pepper soup...etc.
If you follow these rules, you'll live long. Imagine being this scared of being poisoned to death by your friends. You shouldn't be keeping such in the first place. One way or the other you'll still get poisoned if they're serious. |

wiseone28: That's the problem with south east, always chest beating.
Go to their states everywhere is refuse dumping on the road. They are naturally dirty with bad roads everywhere.
Are they telling us states like Akwa ibom and Cross river don't eat? why are we not dumping refuse indiscriminately on the road.
They think when someone does buying and selling the person is wise. Even the buying and selling they are hardly truthful in their dealings. They can dupe you and feel it is smartness. It's like they feel other people are jobless who wake up every morning and do nothing. Their niche is in retailing(using secondary products). Others also have their niche. Just that they have to be more visible in theirs hence giving this false sense of superior business prowess. |

Aba I'd not a state capital or federal capital but has recorded the level of industrial growth independent of federal and state government support There's absolutely nothing exceptional about the South East region,if anything it's quite underwhelming. You guys should stop with all these your faux superiority. You're not a game changer. |

backtovillage: Let's blame Mandela for all this. If we in Nigeria were still under the white, there won't b ethic war ,bandit or pipe line vandalism. We would b developed than South Africa. Stop typing nonsense. Despite it's incompetencies,Nigeria with the same time frame has achieved 100x more than what the British did during it's rule. South Africa wasn't the typical colonial case. The whites have settled there for centuries,it was their homeland, hence why they utilized it's resources in developing there and not Europe. Had it been same scenario in yours, and they're still ruling,it's still their settlements that would been developed while your case would likely be worse off than it is now, coupled with intense discrimination. |

udeh3: Are you aware that one can have the highest number of votes and still not win the election if the party doesn't win according to the Constitution, that is, 25% in 24 states? Having the highest of vote isn't the issue, the votes must be spread to show acceptability. Mind you, the Constitution has been there before the election, so, even the parties are aware of this. In US Hilary Clinton had more votes than Trump...
What matter is the Constitution and not sentiments or whatever. This is to ensure the president isn't a regional president What can be more regional than making a single state determine the entire outcome of an election? |

udeh3: The president by default is the governor of Abuja so to speak. You can't be the head of a place if 25% of the people there didn't vote for you. It's like staying in a home you're not wanted. In the Nigerian Constitution, Abuja is unified state and the Federal Character is employed in most appointments and things done there. It's a state that binds all Nigerians together, hence the 25%. Note that the Constitution didn't state, anyone with the highest vote or 50%, it also stated 25% which is reasonable.
I really don't envy the judges in the tribunal God bless NIGERIA So if I get 90% of total votes, but I didn't get 25% in Abuja, then I can't be President? How does that make sense. |

DeadCountry: Yorubas first attacked and killed Igbos in Lagos and other South West states at the same time when the pogrom against Igbos was ongoing in northern states. This xenophobic action then, same as we are witnessing today prompted the bombing into oblivion your so called lagos by a Biafran nationalist. What exactly did you expect a people that you are killing to do? Sit down and watch you annihilate them? Yeah, the typical terrorists reply: it's payback. When did Yoruba's kill igbos by the way. |

Politics › HISTORY: When Terrorists Were Bombing Lagos And The South West. by YouAreFinished(op): 10:29am On Jul 18, 2023 |
The name of that Biafran terrorist is Mr U.N. Onwu. He lived at 3 Panti Street, Yaba and was a manager at National Technical College, Yaba. He hailed from Abiriba town in Abia State. He was 5 feet 9 inches tall, of average size and dark in complexion. The following day after the bombing, he fled Lagos for the East in his Volkswagen beetle with registration No LG6797.
The fuel tanker belonging to Morris Chima and Sons was parked in front of the Cinema, laden with explosives. When it went off it destroyed the cinemas, and houses around the cinema and also killed people and injured more than 70. The bomb exploded exactly 7.55pm on Wednesday 19th July 1967 as the film Cyprus in Flames was about to start at 8pm.
There were numerous other bombings carried out in Lagos and Ibadan. This was even before the Biafran B26 bomber started bombing Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Okene, Idah from the air on 9th August - October 1967.

Yorubapiglet: Go school, you will rather enjoy hailing MC Oluomo as a role Model.
Abia Anambra IMO ..,............. all the above have oil in abundance and are also collecting 13% derivation as Oil producing states.
Enugu has the largest coal and gas reserves in Africa. Ebonyi has the largest limestone deposit used for cement production.
All the above SE states have a virile population of hardworking people. Why will you expose the foolishness of SW by always saying, it's only SS that has oil?
Na wah for my brothers and sisters sef ..
Grow up... Will you be quiet! Bare faced ipob liar The nine top oil producing states in Nigeria are: Akwa Ibom- the largest oil producer with 31.4% (504,000 BPD) Delta – 21.56% (346,000 BPD) Rivers – 21.43% (344,000 BPD) Bayelsa – 18.07% (290,000 BPD) Ondo – 3.74% (60,000 BPD) Lagos – 2.64% (40,000 BPD) Edo – 2.06% (33,000 BPD) Imo-1.06 % (17,000 BPD) Abia-0.68% (11,000 BPD) As you can see, even the South West is producing 4× for oil than the barren SE,yet they're hardly classified as an oil producing region. |

Tinubu should as a matter of urgency remove the Arabic inscription on our naira notes because Nigeria Is not an Islamic country. Okoro bigot,of all our issues that's what your main concern. Since there's Arabic on your fellow jews Israeli banknotes, are you saying that Israel is an Islamic country? What's on the naira is actually ajami script, they are its oldest symbols and have been there right from the British who simply kept it there for easier identification. They are part and parcel of its naira's historical design. Removing it out of your stupid spite of a section just because you feel they're related would be beyond insulting. His emergence will hopefully put an end to the rampaging Fulani herders' killing spree in vulnerable parts of the north. We told Nigerians that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu means well for the country. It was Iboes, who are only after the breakup of Nigeria, who deceived northern minorities that Jagaban hated them because of moslem-moslem ticket. God has heard the cries of the Kataf people and is bringing them succour through President Ahmed Tinubu. If he's clueless he's clueless. Nothing much will change. |
