Politics › Anambra Gubernatorial Election: Warning To INEC by Youngadvocate(op): 4:37pm On Feb 05, 2017
The 2017 Anambra Gubernatorial election is forthcoming. Preparations are speeding amidst intrigues and intense politicking. We have seen lately the cross-carpeting of some linchpin, accompanying patterned political antics and wooing. Though yet primary, it is obvious that plans and politics are up-gear for the election of the most revered office in the heart of Igbo, Anambra State and no wonder can be expressed over these developments. For one, Anambra is a hub of politics: a state with enormous pronounced and unpronounced billionaires and millionaires; a state that has produced more of National political figures and bigwigs. It certainly cannot be expected to witness anything less of high-powered politicking. Much more, the advanced political socialisation, participation and contemporary culture of internationally acceptable democratic standards Anambra people epitomise spell out their worth in electoral conducts, and history has adjudged them so.

In the wake of this much anticipated election, INEC is due to carry out its constitutional duty; to conduct FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS as AN UNBIASED UMPIRE.
