that's why the music industry is dominated by yorubas.. You know how many artistes small Davido of yesterday has raised, same with Wizkid and alot.. Ordinary May D, P square couldn't raise him successfully because Paul or Peter one of them buh don't know which) doesn't want any one to be like him. Biggest duo in Africa couldn't raise one artist that they themselves can be proud of at the end, other icons like D'banj and 2baba did.. Flavour has bn in that industry now only God knows when buh yet i haven't heard of anyone he try to pull up.. Even the abokis did help themselves.. I mean M.I and floopy music gangs. Yet Igbos will always accuse and point fingers at the yorubas as their greatest enemy when you people are your own greatest enemy. Even in South Africa.

I can't agree less to your point. I am purely of Igbo blood but I can't possibly give a counter narrative to your point.

This Osinachi concert is an eye opener for me. Virtually all the big names in the industry that showed up and helped in the build aren't of Igbo decent. Only McAcappella is of Igbo origin. It is too sad.

And coincidentally, none of them, I mean, Flavour, Phyno, KCEE etc have held such a massive and sold out event at the prestigious Eko Hotels, and I stand to be corrected.

I repeat, I am from Anambra, the home state of Flavour, KCEE and Phyno. My joy is that the show was a mad success. Every bit of it met the expected hit and thrills.

he no make sense because he talk true Why didn't Igbo musicians(celebs) attend to support Humblesmith?

Honestly, my brother.

I am from Uli, in Anambra state. I can tell you I was deeply disappointed in most of our Igbo musicians.

None of them even re-posted the concert Ad for publicity.

Even Olamide did that on his Instagram page. But, Flavour and Phyno, two bigwigs in the Music industry that Humblesmith had featured couldn't extend such gesture. It is really bad, truth be told.

I am a BIG FAN of Humblesmith and I am so happy the show was lit. I mean, massive and dope!

How many of our A-list artistes can do such Live Performance with Live band all through the show. The guy came raw and left everyone enthralled.

SEPLAT is owned by ABC Orjiako, yet, most of the youths from his kindred, especially the brainy graduates remain jobless without a single assistant from him until they travel out to seek greener pastures.

All he's interested in is the dirty politics in Uli town, Ihiala LGA and Anambra State.

So phyno, zoro, flavour, cannot come and support their brother. Nawaa for demooo.

Honestly, the thing tire me.

You needed to see how Harrysong and Tiwa Savage gave their best as if it were their own show.

Harrysong even stayed back in the audience and danced all through.

Anyway, it is great that the even was massively sold out. I never regretted spending my "widow's mite." Totally enjoyed it.

The much talked about "Osinachi" concert from the N-Tyze entertainment star, Humblesmith, held on Sunday 12th August, 2018 and it was a sold-out one.

The event recorded a huge success with loads of blazing and energy-filled performances from notable key players in the music industry such as Tiwa Savage, Harry Song and the concert owner himself, Humblesmith. Humblesmith performed with live band all through the concert, a fit very few big Nigerian musicians can achieve.

In the build up to the concert, Humblesmith had promised his fans and everyone that would attend the concert, an energy-packed, thrilling concert that would give them real value for their ticket money. And as expected, he delivered just that.

The hall was filled to the brim, as the audience in their different strata were fed the doze of entertainment they largely anticipated.

Notable faces that graced the red-carpet were nollywood actors Kate Henshaw, Ruth Kadiri, Monkals, A-list singers, Tiwa Savage and Harrysong, and loads of other celebrities such as Comedians McAccapella and McLively.

Ubifranklin of TripleMG, Rico Swavey, The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Art were among those cited at the red-carpet.

Most of the celebrities who spoke before and after the event expressed deep pleasure over the success of the event, as not too many Big names in the music industry have held such a glamorous and enthralling event at the famour Eko Hotel and Suits. Few notable names who have held such sold-out event at the venue are Davido, Wizkid, 2face and a few others.

Here are some of the photos from the concert.

OP is an idiot. Fiverr can ban your account for this conversation. The Indian guy never said anything wrong.
I've worked with at least 5 Indian clients and they were good to me despite the fact that people run away from them.

Nairaland mods should verify topics before moving them to the front page.

You make bold to call me an idiot? Because I shared an experience?

Well, I wouldn't spend my precious in trying to school you. Perhaps, you should take a tour on Fiverr threads on Quora.

Modified:

Those saying "OP, you are a learner" and "you jumped into conclusion", should check my background. I. Have been a Freelancer for 3 years now.

I have dealt with lots of other clients. Even, at the moment, I am working on a long time project for an Indian client, though, on UPWORK.

This is just a clear racism experience, and I deemed it fit to share it; both to enlighten us and awaken a sense of caution amongst freelancers that may encounter such client.

Career / Racism: How I Lost India Client On Fiverr Because I'm A Nigerian - Photos by Youngadvocate(m): 9:53am On Aug 09, 2018
This is the first time I would ever see this.

I just got a message on Fiverr this morning from a potential client from Bangladesh, India.

I replied and he told me he needed a Graphics Designer. Unfortunately, I'm not one. I'm just a Copywriter and Digital Marketer.

But, I offered to help him get a professional that can give him a "topnotch design." He gladly and instantly accepted.

However, there was a sharp twist of discussion when he asked me "where are you from?" and I told him I'm from Nigeria, which my Fiverr profile clearly shows. (Perhaps, he didn't see it).

As soon as I told him, he said he was busy to chat with me and bade me good bye.

But I wouldn't let him. And we had some exchange of words which I want to share with you guys.

They have begun to implement the plans.

First is to appeal to the National Assembly. Second, they claim the Senate are adamant to respond to such national issue of exceeding importance. Third, they forcefully reopen the chamber and do their bidding.

Nigeria, the mother of charlatans and cursed rascals that parade them-faded-selves as Leaders.
