yea its a nice suv. i just wraped mine wit a caterlyst wrapper to stop the heat from entrin ma legroom. since den its been cool. funny all the pathy av seen in ph av the service engine soon on.

when ma abs n 4wd was showing on the dash on traffic when changin gear from d to either n or p it would shake the car dat u will feel it. but as soon i dealt with the abs the 4wd disappear n ma transmission ran so smooth dat on trafic it did not reoccure

from eperience abs n 4wd can damage ur transmission.

i would advice u to stop driving that car n scan it with a capable mechanic. run away from that guy that pourd holts atf in ur transmission. 4 the brake issue ur abs sensor is faulty. check 4 any disconnection of it on ur 4 tyres. cuz i had the same abs light n 4wd on ma pathy. fix it n ma suv is moving like plane. pls run n find a capable mechanic.

knock control. The knock sensors are extremely sensitive - they're tiny

lukkie: I have a 2002 & it's good. The engine is powerful, can haul people and luggage without blinking but be prepared to spend lots of money on fuel esp if you can't do without using the AC. It does around 15mpg. It had an overheating problem along the line but i changed the thermostats (it has 2) and the problem was fixed. No major problems in the 1.5yrs I've owned it now. If you must buy it, try and get one with sub-100k miles if possible. As with every car, the higher the mileage, the more the problems that crop up. If you have more specific questions, i may be able to help.
