Would you blame the president or people that voted him??
Macphenson:
Just look at the dividends of having a DULLARD as a President. Can you imagine?

President of a country sending poison to his citizens when they are in dire need of help.

Buhari is not just clueless and incompetent, he is also mean.

Since there has been complaints about the rice, couldn't he have ordered the recall of those poison?

No, he kept quiet so that Nigerians will eat the poison.

Wicked and evil

Bros please don’t quote me ever again. You that think politics is 2+2, clap for yourself.
anonymous1759:
You think politics is 1+1 abi? The kind of Leader we need in Nigeria at the moment is someone like Hitler, putin, Gaddafi, kim etc who will shut all the cabals , cleanse the system of corruption with their strong personality. Okonja is intelligent no doubt but she can't rule over the strong men in Nigeria her effort will be frustrated.
Being in leader is beyond intelligence and good heart the most important is Political will G. E. J lacked it I thought PMB will be stronger but he was defeated and corruption is still there.

Mike Adenuga Foundation (MAF), established by a billionaire, Dr Mike Adenuga Jr., on Monday donated N1.5 billion to Federal Government and Lagos State government to support Nigeria’s fight against the global Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

Mrs Bella Disu, the daughter of the billionaire, presented a cheque for N500million to the Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, at his office at the State Secretariat, Alausa, on behalf of the Foundation on Monday.

Similarly, a representative of the Foundation presented the cheque for N1billion to the Governor of Central Bank, Mr Godwin Emefiele, in Abuja.

The Apex Bank is coordinating the fundraising by corporate bodies in the country.

The fund is to support the initiatives aimed at combating the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the foundation, the presentations are being committed for the wellbeing of the entire Nigerian citizens especially at this time when the country is battling the Coronavirus pandemic.

It also commended the government, individuals and organisations for their efforts to contain the spread of the virus.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that individuals and corporate organisations had made various donations toward fighting the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

PoliticsCOVID-19: Edo Trains 4,218 Medical Personnel by youngestuk(op): 6:45pm On Mar 30, 2020
The Edo State Government has embarked on the training of 4,218 medical personnel across the state and stocking up on medical supplies, among other measures being put in place to combat the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the state.

Deputy Governor and Chairman, Edo State Response Committee on COVID-19, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, said this in a press briefing, Monday, on the state government’s preparedness to halt the outbreak in the state.

According to him, “The Edo State Government has embarked on training of a total of 4,218 medical personnel drawn from the 18 Local Government Areas of the state in the first instance. These persons already have basic training for handling crisis, but their skill-level needs to be updated to contain the emerging trends. They would be undergoing Train-the-Trainers (ToT) sessions, after which they will go back to their respective facilities to train their colleagues. The health workers are drawn from private, state and federal government medical centres.”

He noted that the state was ramping up medical supplies to tackle the pandemic, especially the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which would ensure that any health worker who would be on the frontline during the outbreak would be equipped with complete kits to protect themselves.

He added, “We are also working to increase the number of ventilators and other equipment necessary for isolation of cases, while we work towards containing the outbreak. At the moment, the state has 25 ventilators at the ready, but we have made orders for more ventilators and expect their delivery very soon.

“The Edo State Government will commence massive screening and testing for coronavirus in order to get a statistical sense of how widespread the virus is in the state to ensure effective planning and containment efforts.”

“The enlarged Edo State Response Committee on COVID-19 would continue to meet virtually every day to monitor and manage the state’s response to the pandemic.”

The World Health Organisation (WHO) Coordinator in Edo State, Mrs. Faith Ireye said for the two confirmed cases in the state, 71 contacts are listed as the government looks inward to keep over list rather under list.

She said 13 persons have been identified with their samples taken to Irrua Specialist Hospital for testing.

“For those who returned from abroad, over 36 persons were on self-isolation and completed their 14 days and now we are following up with 46 others. Social distancing is important, we should work together to keep the state safe for us all.”
