italo: Advent Sunday is mentioned in the Bible.
You will find it in the verse where the Bible memtions "Bible," "Sunday," and "Private Jet."
Abeg Theultimate, fire on jor... lol. Your thinking is funny though. And so is the way you answered my question. Sadly. What does Bible, and Sunday have in common with private jet that you equate them together? And who doesn't know that "Bible" is not found anywhere in the Bible? And that even "Sunday" as a day of the week isn't mentioned either. I bet you know not why. Do you even know the meaning of the word "Bible"? Yet you relate those words to your "advent" season which is more like a pillar or doctrine of your sect. |

Unibenstudent: I just wondered how are we able to communicate with people that r so far away isn't this witchcraft?? Lol! I like your thinking, really. Its more like an 'advanced form' of the bolded. The truth is you can't really alienate it from 'modern tecnology' itself. They are both inter-related. Witchcraft itself is a Technology. Technology began in Africa, you know, 'those people' only refined it, and sent it back to you in a modernised package. When I have time I will come back here and expantiate, then your eyes will be opened. |

Politics › Politicians Hearing From God, Who’s Fooling Who? by Youngsage(op): 7:54pm On Nov 21, 2014*. Modified: 6:01am On Jan 20, 2017 |
It’s amazing how some people can easily shift from being full time politicians to full time Christians or whatever religion they claim to profess at the onset of election campaigns. To such politicians, no one, including God, matters once elected into one position or the other. Their common refrain is usually ‘We’ re busy, we hold meetings everyday and there is hardly anytime left for religious activities.’ But immediately their tenure is about to expire, they suddenly re-discover God. That is when you see them in all kinds of religious houses. You then wonder whether their highly tight schedules shrank to accommodate God or daily hours extended to serve their interests. They pontificate and say all sorts of rubbish to link themselves to God forgetting that there is God ooo... You hear them telling anyone that cares to listen that God is asking them to either re-contest or contest for bigger positions after due consultations with Him. It doesn’t matter if they are being tried for theft, corruption, murder or any other despicable criminal offence. Some will even publicly claim that God has assured them of victory. Interestingly, some people believe them. That shouldn’t surprise anyone especially in a religious environment like ours where most people act as zombie. I laugh at them. They think they can just use God’s name to legitimize their selfish and inordinate ambition. One of them who defected from one political party to another simply because he wanted to become a governor at all cost once assured his supporters that he heard from God that he would be the next governor of a state in the South West. Even after analyzing the situation and telling his supporters that their leader had no chance of being nominated as the flag bearer of his party for the election not to talk of becoming governor, they didn’t believe. Well as predicted, he was not even nominated by his party as a governorship candidate to contest in an election. So who is fooling who? There is another Speaker in one of the South West states now telling the state assembly staff members that God has instructed him to contest as governor. Very soon, we will know who is speaking whether it is God or his inordinate ambition. But for now, let politicians know that God Is not mocked. In fact, they should know that they are too far from this God who they can’t obey even when he gives them simple instructions such as don’t steal or don’t kill. He doesn’t waste his time on disobedient folks. And even if he is loving to a fault, he won’t want to sanction another round of looting and embezzlement of public funds and the murder of his creatures by any heartless politician. Source |
Sports › "Eagles Missed Afcon Ticket From Start" - Onigbinde by Youngsage(op): 9:36pm On Nov 19, 2014*. Modified: 7:10pm On Jan 22, 2017 |
Former Nigerian manager, Adegboye Onigbinde has said pointedly that Super Eagles missed the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations ticket in the home loss to the Red Devils of Congo. The Afcon champions were held to 2-2 draw by a 10 man Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the final day qualifying match on Wednesday at the Akwa Ibom Stadium, Uyo. A brace from AFC Bournemouth striker, Tokelo Anthony Rantie gave the South Africans a share of the spoils while substitute striker, Sone Aluko’s brace even score for Nigeria but counted for nothing as the Cup holders bowed out from the race to Equatorial Guinea 2015 Afcon championship. A highly disappointed Onigbinde said it was just unfortunate that Eagles will not have the opportunity to defend the title they won in South Africa in 2013 when football hostilities start next January in Equatorial Guinea.
“It’s most unfortunate playing a decisive Afcon qualifier at home ground at same time being unable to snap up the needed victory.“
The 2-2 draw against South Africa that saw us clearly as outsiders as far as the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea is concerned started way back in the home defeat to Congo Brazzaville right here at our backyard in Calabar as well as the unimpressive barren draw in South Africa. “So we actually lost the 2015 Afcon ticket right from the beginning not just today (Wednesday) we played a 2-2 draw against South Africa.“ It makes no sense crying when the head is off but I’m highly disappointed that we couldn’t qualify to defend our title in Equatorial Guinea,” said Onigbinde to supersport.com. Onigbinde will not enter into discourse whether the presidential fiat that saw the return of Eagles manager, Stephen Keshi has counted for nothing. “It’s not for me to comment on the issue the truth is that nobody is happy with the reality on ground which is our inability to pick one of the group’s tickets. “We’re not doing lot of things right, I think the day we instill the right developmental programme in place as well as right administration we’ll stop to struggle to qualify for major championships,” said Onigbinde.
Nigeria finished the 2015 Afcon campaign on third spot on eight points behind leaders and group qualifiers, South Africa on 12 points and Congo Brazzaville on 10 points respectively. SOURCE |
