Someone posted this on Facebook. Just to jog some memories. These are pictures from 2015. They are pictures of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election campaign in Kano state. As we can see - a massive crowd attended the show. Of course, we know how the story ended. The man got virtually no votes in Kano. So, to those of you who have been cavorting about the place because some bored Nigerians saw an opportunity to be entertained at some political campaign rally - sit back, relax and then take a chill pill!

Happy new year Nairalanders. Nairaland in 2018 was a great source of information, humour and fun. Thanks to a good number of content contributors, there was never a dull moment on Nairaland. However, some content contributors or "OPs", stood out for me as the most interesting. Their posts are usually educative, informative and funny. I always look forward to post from these posters. Personally, in 2018, my favourite Nairaland posters are: 1. Autojosh 2. Explorer 3. AutoreportNG So, who were your favourite Nairaland content contributors or Op? Lalasticlala, Mynd44, Seun, Marpol, Dominique |
Blackfire:Spare some pity for yourself, bro. |
This is simply wonderful. Kudos to the ex-students. |

I passed here some months ago when it was being constructed. The traffic hold up was intense then. Kudos Obaseki. |
Nice. We need more of these? Meanwhile, @Autojosh, I need one of these. ![]()

Drdreluv:I wondered myself. I guess he is just being mischievous. Pulling up some random accidented similar car to discredit the poster. |
zlantanfan:Sir, no offense intended, but people like like you are the real problem of this country. The OP is trying to draw attention to the failures of the government, and your next reaction is to attack him. So, what if someone in government sees this and then decides to fix the road, wouldn't the electorates be better for it? Wont it be to his credit that Obaseki fix the road that has been long abandoned. Until we stop this habit of defending our favourite politicians necessarily, I am afraid, Nigeria will not progress significantly. |
Lack of maintenance culture. One of our biggest problems in Nigeria. |
Unbelievable. I grew up near this road. It was one of the best roads in Benin city back then. This is so heartbreaking. |
I laugh in Latin.
|
moufan:Dude, take a chill pill. And you think that Tinubu, all the LG Chairmen and the party leaders do not have interests in all the areas listed? |
Nice |
Olalan:But if they were pictures of roads in Buenos Aires or Cambodia, I'm sure you would not have this opinion. Black man mentality. |

BIG ...G.O.A.T |
Nice one Autojosh and Nairaland. Keep the good work going. |
