Coscharis Motors is a Nigerian automotive company with a Lagos based head office and branches in many states across the country. The company’s core business includes marketing and servicing of the Jaguar Land Rover luxury vehicles. To expand its business model, Coscharis Motors is aggressively pursuing emerging opportunities with investments in assembly plants in the country.

On Tuesday they announced that owners of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles would be offered 10% discount on parts bought from the company.

The Brand Manager, Coscharis Jaguar Land Rover, Cletus Aregbeshola, said: “Every part comes with the peace of mind of a 12-month unlimited kilometre warranty when fitted by Coscharis Motors, or six months when you purchase it over the counter.”

Apparently they considered the fact that Nigerians spend more on service and parts of their cars during this rainy season, due to bad and muddy roads.

Coscharis Motors National Parts Manager, Cyril Dcruz, said, ”This is an opportunity to enjoy access to genuine parts, which are actually very cost effective. Not utilizing genuine parts will inhibit your Jaguar Land Rover vehicles feeling like a Jaguar Land Rover, but could jeopardize your vehicle’s warranty and future value especially given the availability of trade-in and buy-back options currently packaged by Coscharis Motors.’’

They also hired qualified technicians to perform a full car-health check on the Jaguar Land Rover to ensure excellent combined performance, when parts are replaced.

Co-founder of Uber, Travis Kalanick, aged 40, has resigned as the chief executive of Uber.

Travis Kalanick with an estimated net worth of US$6.3 billion, as of March 2017, announced last week that he was going on an unstated leave of absence following the death of his mother in a boating accident.

But the move failed to kill a growing crisis which he was ask to resign as the chief executive by his investors.

In a statement, Kalanick said, ‘I love Uber more than anything in the world and at this difficult moment in my personal life I have accepted the investors request to step aside so that Uber can go back to building rather than be distracted with another fight”.

In recent times, Uber has been hit by endless series of PR crises and an exodus of top executives .

Before taking a passenger in ,scrutinize and observe them,their body language etc.

5.Install a Tracker
This is more than important, there should always be a tracker in your car at all times .

6.Be Careful At Night
When embarking on night journeys ,be extra careful.You should take major roads as much as possible and avoid internal roads.If you can, just avoid night journeys .

7.Beware Of The Passengers Position
If your passenger is sitting directly behind you ,you should monitor him/her and be ready for anything .

8.Share Your Location At All Times
Always share your location with a family or loved one at all times ,there are apps that can help with this .

9.Use A Dummy ATM Card
Always carry a dummy ATM card around with little cash.Avoid carrying bulk cash too.

10.Don’t Resist A Robbery
In the worse case scenario when you are threatened with a gun,just give it all up.Your life is more important and your car might be recovered .Your life can’t be recovered when its lost .Stay safe !.

Students in the Netherlands have come up with this brilliant idea. It’s a car made from plants… and the first car in the world that can be completely recycled.

They used flex fibre for the outside composite panel and sugar beet for the inside and core strength. They also coated the car so it won’t disappear when it rains. It can be powered by 3 modular batteries packs which would go 100kms or you fill up the tank like a regular car in order to drive further.

This recyclable car can go up to 80 km/h and it weighs 300kg.

The windscreen in some cars is actually built as part of the air bag system.If there is a problem with your windscreen your airbag might not deploy properly.

The windscreen is built in a way that makes it “flexible” to cushion the effect of an impact when an accident happens so it pushes the occupant of the car back ,depending on the force of the impact.

Not checking if your wipers are working before embarking on a journey can be very disastrous.
