he is wrong as he is very ignorant. There are conditions attached to the repatriation of that money. So it couldn't have been used for ASUU. It's in public domain. U.S literally direction how the repatriated fund would be used.

Can you give me a link or show me where the US said that, because since have been hearing of the Abacha loot, this is the first time am hearing that there are conditions to it.... Also using 6 billion naira + on cattles in Katsina was that part of the conditions given..... Please just show me....

maybe you mean the support of this weird website. As for the public I know of, everyone I know is blaming the federal government for all this. Just imagine the solution you are looking for , rather than have the government settle this once and for all. You want the strike to be temporarily suspended and again next year they go on another strike because the FG has renegaded again on its promises. The FG should prioritize eduction in a country they arr governing . Do this and watch ASUU, and other form of strikes become History. So

Have you ever seen ministers or aides go on strike? They are prioritized.

Maybe it's just the people you've met, as for the people have spoken to, the support for ASUU has really dropped....

But u are right sir on ur other opinion, but the big question remains, does this government priorize education It's an absolute NO, Abacha loot which will be received can be used to settle ASUU but No they wouldn't want to do it instead they'll say they want to use it for some other project....

So should the students continue suffering under this irresponsible govt especially when you and I know this govt administration will be over in less than a year??

Even if ASUU wins and the govt succumbs to what they want, who says the next govt will implement the agreement which is made as of now, is the current strike not also because of Agreements made by previous govt as well??

FOR NOW I think they can find a common ground with the govt by asking them to pay 3 months salary instead of 6, after all the students who are suffering the most nobody will pay them for wanted time and rent...

They have sir, if you watched the series "money heist" you'll realize one thing they never wanted to lose in that heist was the public opinion, when fighting the government you need the public support....

The moment the reason for this continued strike changed from the revitalization of the varsities to their 6 months salary which they never worked for in the first place noticed that unlike before when the total blame was on FG now it is being shared between both, as a result state unis are beginning to resume and trust me it wouldn't end with KASU, EKSU OR UNIOSUN, more will follow especially with this outburst from the ASUU's president..

Ask question if you re ignorant of some issues. State universities know what they re doing by joining ASUU. They have a share of monies allocated to universities by the fg. The last bailout fund given to universities after d last srike, state universities who were part of the struggle got 40% while federal universities got 60%.

It was d major reason unilorin joined ASUU again.

And how does that concern the current reason ASUU are still on strike??

ASUU are still on strike because of the "no work no pay" placed on them by the Fg, this is something the state universities can totally exempt themselves from if they choose to...
