He said this in reaction to reports that Saraki worked against his governorship ambition.

A fuel tanker explosion this morning beside the office of Department of State Security Services, DSS, and Ojo Barracks along Lagos Badagry Expressway has kills many.

The impact of the accident resulted in the explosion of the tanker, in the process, other vehicles caught fire.

An eyewitness said the accident occurred at 6: 45 am. No fewer than eight vehicles were consumed by the fire, while an unspecified number of people, who were trapped in their cars were burnt to death.

A group of workers in Zaria, Kaduna State, have staged a protest at a prayer session against Nasir el-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, over their unlawful disengagement from service.

Carrying cardboards with writings, all the workers gathered at the Zaria City Eid prayer ground to observe their prayers.

They also used that platform to rain abuses on their state governor, saying he is responsible for subjecting their families to “deprivation and penury”.

Atiku made this declaration when he visited members and delegates of Oyo State ahead of the forthcoming presidential primary election of the party.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the mode of primaries for Saturday, September 29th, 2018 governorship primary elections scheduled to hold across the thirty-six states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This information was contained in a statement APC spokesman, Yekini Nabena, sent to yourtotalneeds.com Tuesday afternoon.

There have been confusion on the kind of primaries states will adopt this weekend.

Meanwhile, the NWC has banned the Adamawa State Working Committee from participating either as delegates or superintendents over the governorship primaries holding in the State.

“This is due to the fact that the Adamawa State Working Committee was prejudiced in favour of a governorship aspirant”, the statement added.

A motorcycle rider (Okada man) raised alarm in Omole, Lagos State this afternoon after a man he met on the street touched him and his manhood allegedly disappeared.

The Okada man said the man touched him at the Amala hotspot in Omole area of Lagos and he noticed that his manhood had disappeared.

Bukola Saraki, the Senate President of Nigeria, had on Sunday reaffirmed his decision not to step down as the Senate President.

This came when his former party, APC, insisted that since he has defected to the PDP, it would be nice if he relinquishes the senate president’s seat for a member of the ruling party, APC.

Adams Oshiomole, APC party chairman, has repeatedly stated that if Saraki does not resign honorably, he would be impeached.



Saraki who visited Niger state yesterday Sunday for consultations on his presidential bid, spoke with newsmen and vowed not to step down.

In a speech, Saraki said, APC is currently the minority in the senate and therefore don’t have the powers to carry out the impeachment threat.

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Yusuf Magaji Bichi as the new DSS Director-General.

The appointment was contained in a statement by Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu earlier today, Thursday.

The statement reads,

“President Muhammadu Buhari has approved with effect from the 14th of September, the appointment of Yusuf Magaji Bichi, as new Director-General of the State Security Service (SSS, popularly called DSS).

”The appointee is a core Secret Service operative.

”He attended Danbatta Secondary School, the Kano State College of Advanced Studies and the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he graduated with a degree in Political Science.
