A 27-year-old man Sodiq Rasheed, was arrested with three human skulls by the Oyo state police command. He was arrested with the exhibit along  Ijebu-Ode/idi Ayunre road in Ibadan.



Parading the suspect , the state commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odunde said the suspect was caught during raid by the anti crime patrol team of the Iyaganku Command on  25th July. He added that his  accomplice, an Islamic scholar, Alhaji Hadi, is still at large.

The Lagos State Government has announced that her light rail project running between Mile 2 and Marina will commence its operation by 2022.
The mass transit rail project called the ‘‘Blue Line” had suffered many delays due to the paucity of funds and other challenges.

This announcement is said to come after Lagos state government signed a major contract with French Rail Transport Company, Alstom SA, on the operation of the state rail mass transit.

Abdulwahab Abdulrahman, an ex-aide to the sacked Director General of the Department of State Services, (DSS) Lawal Daura, has accused his former boss of corruption.

He pictured him as a man who serially betrayed his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari, for money.

Daura was dismissed by the acting president, Prof Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday following unlawful invasion of the National Assembly by men of of the security agency.

Abdulrahman, who retired as a senior DSS official, claimed that Daura also betrayed Buhari by serving as a mole for Bukola Saraki, the Senate President.

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris has submitted report on Tuesday’s siege at the national Assembly to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.

The report was obtained by DAILY POST Thursday night.

The IGP indicted the sacked Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura.

The presidency has since replaced him with mattew Seiyefa. the most senior director in the agency.

According to the IGP, Daura acted alone and never consulted other security agencies.

Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday arrested a former DSS DG, Ita Ekpenyong.

He was reportedly arrested in connection with alleged N17billion fraud in the agency.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said that the case of alleged fraud involving Senator Godswill Akpabio is not yet closed.

Akpabio said that he was a man of peace that had no case to answer with the EFCC, adding that the young man who wrote a petition against him to the commission could not prove his case

“Those petitions to the EFCC have been sorted out. As I stand today, I have not been charged to court because nothing was found against me,”

A scary video has gone viral on the internet showing the moment a cow went mad and chasing after people in broad daylight.

The incredible incident reportedly happened on Thursday in Okota, Lagos.

At one point within the footage, a bus is seen making an attempt to bump into the cow during a bid to subdue it, however the animal escapes being hit and continued its rampage. It then charged directly at two persons riding on a motorcycle. the two men jumped off the bike and ran for their lives.
The rather crazy animal failed to stop its rampage even when being hit from the side by a bus however tried to hit the vehicle with its horns.



Towards the tip of the video, a person is seen with a rope in his hands as he tries to use it to subdue the animal. He fails, however.

The video ends with the cow running off in the distance. It is not known how the drama ended.
