It was reported that a man from Northern China who recently divorced his wife, sued her for being ugly, and won! Winning a total of 750,000 Yuan ($120,000) in compensation.

After the birth of the couple’s daughter, the man identified as Jian Feng, accused his wife of cheating on him as he was shocked at their newborn babies appearance, stating that the baby did not look like either of her parents, and how “incredibly ugly” she looked.

A DNA test was carried out to prove to the husband that his wife was not unfaithful to him, and he was the actual father of the child. The wife then admitted that she spent 620,000 Yuan ($100,000), to undergo intensive plastic surgery to change her overall appearance before she met her husband, which she failed to tell him up until the time of the DNA test.

After his extreme makeover, he started working as a prostitute in the Viejo Prado district of the northern coastal city of Barranquilla.

But, despite his new appearance, police still recognized him Saturday during a routine stop-and-search.

He was arrested and paraded before the country's media.

El Tiempo newspaper reports that Rebolledo, originally from the capital of Bogota, was jailed last year for his involvement in the Los Topos criminal gang.

The group allegedly used beautiful women to seduce wealthy men into coming home with them.

Once under the gang's control, the men would be tortured with electric shocks into handing over bank cards, pin numbers and other valuables.

I was drawn by the story caption in a blog “55 Year Old Woman Who looks 20+” I was amazed but still tried to do a little research to be convinced.

Rosemarie Smead was ordained by the dissident group Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests Saturday 27th April 2013 at a Louisville church.

This is the first of such ordination in Louisville by the Women Priests group, which has been holding those services around the world. Smead's service took place in a Protestant sanctuary, St. Andrew's United Church of Christ on Saturday.

Three men from United Arab Emirates were attending the Jenadrivah Heritage & Culture Festival in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. They were forcibly evicted from the festival by Saudi police officers. The grounds for this harsh move? The visitors were too handsome.

One of the FBI's most wanted men has been arrested by police in Nicaragua.

Eric Justin Toth, who was sought on child pornography charges, was taken into custody in the northern city of Esteli on Saturday, police said. He has been on the FBI's most wanted list since April 2012, when he replaced Osama bin Laden on the list.

A California court is told a woman carried out a horrific attack on her 60-year-old estranged husband after tying him to a bed. She yelled "You deserve it" before severing her estranged husband's penis with a 10-inch kitchen knife.

Catherine Kieu, 50, is accused of drugging the 60-year-old man's tofu dinner with sleeping pills and tying him to a bed before the attack. She allegedly threw the penis into a waste disposal unit.

Dubai police have unveiled a modified $550,000 (£360,000) Lamborghini Aventador, capable of speeds up to 217mph and 0-60 in a staggering three seconds.

In a city of boundless 'bling' even the police are now in on the act with the 700-hp vehicle which is thought to be the world's most expensive patrol car. The sports car, painted in green-and-white colors of the Dubai force, will not likely be roaring after law breakers. Instead, it will be mostly dispatched to tourist area.

After buying a Lamborghini, officials said a Ferrari will go on patrol this week. Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai's police chief, said the luxury sports cars are meant to reflect the city's affluent reputation.

Local media reports said the Italian-made Lamborghini Aventador is the crown jewel of a wider upgrade in Dubai police wheels. The force also is adding some American muscle car Camaros.

Lamborghini launched the car this year to celebrate its 50th anniversary and has already sold out of the marque, with several of the vehicles being sold to Britain according to reports.

Lady Gaga is reportedly paying for a fan's hip replacement surgery and has also given her 24-karat gold plated wheel chair.

The 27-year-old singer who is just back on her feet after emergency surgery for a "labral tear" to her right hip, has reached out to a Twitter follower called Emma C, 19, and is paying for her to meet the same doctors, surgeons and specialists who treated her in New York, the Mirror reported.

Emma, from Wisconsin, wrote online, "Gaga reached out to me and is hooking me up with her team that did her surgery in NYC as I have been needing a hip replacement for quite some time."

She added "We're planning on flying out this weekend, all expenses paid, for a consult. The gesture is absolutely incredible... I broke down sobbing. Words can't describe how incredibly Blessed I am."

Many women spend a fortune—and put up with a lot of pain—plucking, threading, and waxing away unwanted facial hair. Not Mariam.



The German-born mom, who goes only by her first name, is making headlines for embracing her significant goatee.

Mariam's thick beard is all natural. "It really grows as a goatee, as you can see," she said during an interview with the UK's ITV Network. Instead of shaving, she simply "shortens" the ends to keep herself looking well-groomed, because "If it gets too long, it's a bit frizzy."

Mariam—who is of German and Iranian decent—didn't immediately embrace her facial hair. She says that it began growing in soon after the birth of her son, when she was about 21 years old. Ten years later, it was so thick that she would have a full beard if she didn't tweeze each hair out every morning. It would take her hours to get ready to leave the house, she was so obsessed with pulling out every hair.

"My chin got really red and inflamed from all the plucking, and some of the hairs were ingrown, so it always looked like I'd fallen on my chin," she told ITV's "This Morning." "But when people asked what had happened and I told them they couldn't believe it."

She tried electrolysis three times, "but it just grew back," she confided on the morning talk show. She worried that shaving or waxing would just cause the hair to grow in thicker and darker. She talked to her doctors, who ruled out serious medical problems and reassured her that "it happened to lots of other women, so I shouldn't worry," she remembered. "But they didn't really give me a reason."

Nearly five years ago, she decided to stop plucking and just let the hair grow.

"One day I realized that the hair on my chin belongs to my body and that it should be there," she explained on her blog. "On 6th August 2008, I stopped plucking my facial hair and saw the whole thing as a experiment. What would happen if I let myself be who I really am?"

"When I decided to let it grow it didn't feel brave," she confessed to ITV. "It was more like a curiosity. I wanted to see what would happen to me. There was a big fear that everyone would turn away and nobody would talk to me anymore."

Instead, she found the courage and the freedom to just be herself. She now works with a circus, as their bearded lady act, which gives her a chance to educate people about the issue.

"Today I am happy to have had the chance to live with a beard," she wrote on her blog. "It is an experience that has taught me a lot!"

'I know myself more now,' she told ITV. 'There are always people with a fetish who might only be attracted by the beard, but that is the same with lots of things, even if I were a blonde woman."

What's the cause of excess female facial hair and just how common is it? The FDA reports that more than 41 million women in the United States have hirsutism, or unwanted, male-pattern hair growth. Nigeria as a nation is already bedeviled by so many woes and crisis that leaves the masses especially the youths wondering how bright the future is in this nation. In the face of unemployment, poor economy and numerous hardships the masses face, our leaders have consistently done so little in bringing the positive change we need. Unfortunately, we have been deceived for too long that we no longer marvel at the gimmicks of deception unleashed on us daily by our leaders! It is however, so sad that we follow them like hypnotized people!

If our leaders lack the political/moral will to do the right thing, then it should be our duty to remind them and possibly refute any sort of political imposition on the masses. Now, the issue at hand which is Amnesty for Boko Haram is too dangerous for silence and if it is not well addressed, may be an institutionalization of systematic breakdown of this nation.

For some time now, some leaders in the north have been clamouring for amnesty for Boko Haram; but the question is, to whom should the amnesty be given? To faceless people? To terrorists who have so far deprived others their freedom of worship and life by bombing so many churches, wasting precious lives and destroying properties? , Boko Haram has killed over 5,000 people including foreigners in so many barbaric ways. Yet, these so-called selfish Northern leaders say they are fighting for their rights. Tell me, is it human for a freedom fighter to behead victims with machete or slice them in pieces allowing them to die in anguish? I don’t think freedom fighters indulge in such cruelty and animalistic behaviour to express their grievances.

Niger Delta Militants vs Boko Haram Terrorists:
How do you know if a particular group is fighting a just cause? It is very simple; every group has ideology and agitations. From the agitation, one could easily discern whether they are on the right track or not. Remember, any group that does not have this interest of the people at heart, or threaten the peace and unity of a nation should not be considered as freedom fighters.
The agitators of amnesty for Boko haram perhaps are comparing the Niger Delta militants to Boko Haram terrorists. As freedom fighters, the Niger Delta militants fought the environmental degradation of their communities, gross neglect by the Leaders and poverty in the region that produces the major economic revenue of this nation. They were constantly sending messages across to the government and the oil companies and when it was time to go into dialogue, they came to the table as a sign of their readiness to publicly express their grievances. Never was there any hidden identity with the Niger Delta militants; they were never faceless just like Boko Haram that has no agenda.
Our leaders should find a solution to these insurgencies instead of being too liberal in the fight of terrorism. If amnesty is granted to Boko haram, what is the guarantee that another group wont spring up from the North with their own agenda? Will that be a permanent solution to these insurgencies or an encouragement for other groups in other regions to spring up knowing full well that amnesty will always be the pis-aller. Then, the innocent people that lost their lives since this Boko Haram saga would have died in vain! This is a food for thought for our leaders.

Finally, fighting for one’s rights is something that is internationally applauded but if the ideology and agitation of any group are wrong or negative, then such a group will not be fighting a just cause. The ideology of the Niger Delta militants is contrary to that of Boko Haram and if the latter is not a group of freedom fighters, then it’s a terrorist group and should be treated as such. Agitating for amnesty for a faceless terrorist group is something that shouldn’t be mentioned because that ideal is as dangerous as the activities of the Boko Haram.

Khloé, 28, dropped details about her infertility with hubby Lamar Odom, saying their journey to conceive has “been awkward.”

“About a year ago we just said let’s just let it happen — but when it didn’t happen, Kim was like, ‘Lets go to the doctor,’” she recalled. “I found out I don’t ovulate and my uterus lining isn’t thick enough, and I have to take pills to make my uterus lining thicker, and if that doesn’t get thicker I cannot carry a baby.
