PoliticsRe: Re: Open Letter To Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Governor, Abia State by yungpowers(m): 10:33am On Jul 13, 2018
When I saw the letter from Alex Otti, the Facebook governor, I could do nothing but laugh uncontrollably. It gladdened my heart to see that his meaningless letter acknowledges the fact that there's a heavy revolution in Abia State's infrastructure, Security, Education, Agriculture and human capital development narrative, under Governor Ikpeazu’s watch. At least he has indirectly confessed and preached to the world that Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu is a narrative changer.

PoliticsPlateau Killings: I Have Evidence Of Those Behind Attacks – Reps Member, Maje by yungpowers(op): 2:01pm On Jul 05, 2018
A member of the House of Representatives, Hon Ahmed Maje, has insisted that politicians were behind the killings in Plateau State.

Speaking during plenary, Maje claimed he had evidence to prove that politicians were behind the many killings in the state.

The lawmaker, who represents Wase constituency in Plateau state, noted that he was aware that he was putting his life in danger by making the disclosure.

According to Maje, “I want to say this that the security men are not doing their work, they are the remote causes of this matter, whether we like it or not. I want to tell this House and Nigerians that about 300 people were trained in Israel, it’s there in our report, we gave it to the government to work on and find out those sponsoring them.

“Till today, nobody has been traced and these people are the ones who go about killing people. I’m giving you this and I’m willing to surrender this documents.

“A company in Plateau State did importation and about four containers were missing and when we traced as a committee what was in those containers, we were told that the containers were taken to the house of a politician. When we traced the name of the company it was a security company in Israel. They bought arms.

There's an adage that says "twenty years is not eternity ".
It will surely come to an end, some day. Only if we know what the future holds, am very sure that the some people would have taken a better stand during the 1967-1970 civil war.

I couldn't determine on my own if the tonsil has yellow particles, but i 'think' I was able to touch it and the smell wasn't good at all.
If you have a torchlight, trying flashing it into your mouth while facing a mirror, a well charged torchlight so that you'll be sure of what you're facing. Even if you wanna do that tomorrow during the day, it must be with a torchlight.

if you found out anything through what I told you, kindly know that a dentist cannot be of any help to you, he's just after his pay. It would be better if you let me know what your findings are.

To be frank, I am just hearing of the tonsils stuff for the first time. I don't even know how to check for yellow patches as you have instructed. I don't cough out tiny yellow stones and I don't have a noisy stomach...
check the picture below. Use your finger in touching your tonsils and smell it. If it smells bad, then it comes from there. Check if there are yellow parches too.

Hello Nairalanders.

I am a bit of a regular here... but had to create an alt account for anonymity sake.

Like the title of my thread says, i've been suffering from this situation for years now and it's totally reducing my social life to shambles. ANd you may want to ask what I have done about this. I have done alot. I have been to quite a number of dentists. Some say it's a case of scaling and polishing, a procedure I allow them to carry on with, to no avail.

I have tried various mouth washes, various mixtures, various gums and I am getting fed up. I am having difficulties relating well with people outside because I want to always close my mouth. People are beginning to tag me a snub and proud person.

Please, that's why I have turned to you my e-pals. Do you know any powerful solution that has worked for someone you knew with chronic bad breath before? Are you a dentist on this forum and have an idea of how I can get rid of this social killer for good? Please your contributions will be very much appreciated.
Check your tonsils and see if you'll some yellow patches. Do you have a foul taste in your mouth few minutes or hours after brushing. Do you have noisy stomach? Do you cough out tiny yellow stones that smell bad? Do you have constipation? Your response is needed to tell you your next step.

If we had a functional crime fighting agency, this fellow should be behind bars because every required evidence is on display right in the video. The authorities would rather harass and intimidate unarmed civilians than bringing him to book.
This is Nigeria.
CrimeA Police Man Caught On Camera While Asking For 20k Bribe. by yungpowers(op): 12:03pm On Jul 01, 2018
The bribery in Nigeria has gotten out of hand. A police man asking to be paid N20,000 for nothing, he had to hold down the occupants of the vehicle for over two hours. The police man being unaware, got filmed. He said if he was still in SARS that it would have been nothing less than N50,000. The big question is; which way Nigeria?

Finally, it has come to stay, the good people of Abia are now enjoying the dividends of democracy after 16years of neglect and decay. We have good and visionary leaders in PDP. OVI till 2023.

Ruddyman:
While I don't know your position in Ikpeazus government...... I must state clearly that some of his caterpillar projects are clearly now abandoned projects

Some of these are littered across different roads/streets along Aba-Owerri road....

I'm Aba born and a family member is also a salary earner under this government and I must say, paying them now is a big big issue.....Government shouldn't be run like this...

I rest my case....
I understand you, bruv. The caterpillar revolution is a continuous improvement, it has never been "abandoned", the government is still working. Some areas he wanted to do was later discovered as contracts that has been awarded so many times by NDDC, so he can't just damble into them like that. Just be calm, I'm glad your comments shows that something new is happening in Abia, all you ask for is greater effort. I rest my case too.
PoliticsRe: Public Bus Use For Waste Disposal In Abia State by yungpowers(m): 8:45pm On Jun 23, 2018
Ruddyman:
The intentions of the caterpillar may be genuine but the way they are going about it is wrong....

If you look around , you will see obvious signs of projects that will never be done and you begin to wonder why they have to be everywhere at the same time...

this is upon issues of salaries for workers at different levels mainly teachers and pensioners not bn taken care of....
the projects are littered all across the 17 local government of Abia State, some on appear to be on a speedy pace whereas some appear to be slow. The slow ones may be as a result low fund input, the reason being that the workload is heavier than the income. Not workers at different levels because I know that the MDAs are upto date. When this government came on board, OVI paid off 11months backlog of salaries within his first three months in office. So the issues of salaries will all be settled as soon as possible. You may wonder why I support this government so much? I was born and raised in Aba, ah swear to the streets that I've never seen it this good in Abia before.
PoliticsRe: Public Bus Use For Waste Disposal In Abia State by yungpowers(m): 7:54pm On Jun 23, 2018
Ruddyman:
Definitely you have some valid points here...but every Government Agency ought to have proper checks and balances that curtains things like this...

Refuse dispersal and collection remains an issue in Aba, as many collection points remains an eyesore despite whatever good intentions the government of the day might have....

Even the caterpillar revolution is not going the way it should as many streets and roads in Aba remains untouched after caterpillar visitation causing untold hardship to the residents of such areas...

We are still far in governance in this country, and until government at both state and local government level puts their together, Nigeria as a nation will go no where...
Your points are made clear, but what you have to understand is that the head of these agencies can never be everywhere. The caterpillar revolution is perfectly working, it's just that the decay in the state nearly got to a point of no return as every nook and cranny of the state got affected. The level of decay before the present administration came on board makes it nearly impossible for you to believe that anything is actually happening. The caterpillar revolution can get to every where at the same time, it's a poko a poko. something.
PoliticsRe: Public Bus Use For Waste Disposal In Abia State by yungpowers(m): 6:55pm On Jun 23, 2018
This is so unhygienic and uncalled for, just imagine the level of public exhibition of nonsense. And they are all there comfortably seated as if they were carrying some loaves of bread. I bet my left nyash on this, this bus wasn't made for garbage disposal because I saw when Ikpeazu purchased some trucks for such works. Before now, Abia used to be a refuse dump till Okezie Ikpeazu began his transformation and caterpillar revolution. This same thing could be likened to police extortion of which we know it's never an order from the IG's desk. These people are trying to tarnish the image of the ever hard working government of Abia state. Op, is such a diplomatic well meaning Nigerian who didn't blame it on the state government, because he knows the governments may be unaware of the situation. As a well meaning Abian who loves this present administration, I pray the state government to look into this matter because it sabotages OVI's effort at ridding the state of the mess she used to be known for. OVI TILL 2023.

Why wouldn't they do so? Who doesn't love a good leader, who doesn't like good leadership?Despite so many oppositions coming from the church, it doesn't stop them from saying the truth. Which well meaning Christian lies in the church? Abians have never had it this good for decades. I still wonder what oppositions in Abia will use to campaign against him, as he's touching every sphere of governance. More accolades await you, but most especially, our PVCs.
