VO: How many admit and reject? I have 5admits, 1 reject and 1 is undecided VO: Why APSU? Me: Apart from the fact that I was awarded a graduate teaching assistantship which covers my entire tuition with monthly stipend, the research conducted by Dr.Jiang Li in the department of computer science and information technology on the implementation of Machine Learning on Network Performance, Monitoring and troubleshooting aligns with my area of interest. VO: What did you study as an undergraduate and when did you graduate? Me: I studied Computer Science and I graduated in January 2015 VO: What have you been doing ever since? ME: I have been working as a Network Engineer at National Open University of Nigeria. I am responsible for the training of new staffs, setting up internet network for the University, troubleshooting and fixing issues with LAN(Local Area Network), repairing of faulty computers and also help in the uploading of questions to update the database of National Open University Server. VO: Why USA? ME: The quality of education in United States is much more impeccable than anywhere else in the world. ME: I will be doing a total of 39credit hours in 2years after which I will return to Nigeria to continue my job. Some of the courses includes: Time series analysis, Predictive analytics, Regression Analysis, Database management concept, SAS programming, Data Mining Applications and so on. VO: So who will be paying for the remaining balance on your I20? Me: My uncle. VO: why will your uncle be paying? Me: He has been the one sponsoring my education since my undergraduate days and he always encourage me about my career so as to reach the peak of my career VO: What does your uncle do? Me: He is a major distributor of car spare parts he has offices in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu. VO: Are u married: Me: yes. VO: Any children? Me: No VO: how will your certificate help your career? ME: At present am working at the ICT department of National Open University of Nigeria as a Network Engineer, a Master’s degree at this time will equip me on the technical and business skills that i needed to create, plan and build a secure and scalable networks. This degree also will elevate me in my place of work and make me a better data analyst professional and a good network architect. Best201195: This isnt a had choice to make, what you needed to do is to get a transfer from your school here in Nigeria to your chosen US school. You can send your transcript and the University in the US will decide what year you will start from. Please take the scholarship |

With your CGPA research for schools that accept your CGPA for your MBA program. Register for GMAT and if necessary for TOEFL do all these online. Good morning guys, has anymore been admitted for spring at Austin Peay State University and Middle Tennessee State University. I am patiently waiting for their decision. Moreso I was admitted to University of New Haven and I would like to apply for their funding but there is no where to apply for it, so I want to ask if it is automatically been considered with ones program application. |
