Toks2008:

Not just 2027...if found out, Tinubu will be impeached even if he can't use the evidence at the Supreme court.

This is why I laugh when I read comments from stark illiterates claiming to be Tinubu supporters.

I cringe at their folly and Ludicrous ignorance.
You people are seriously mad! cheesy Here was I thinking all these shenanigans from obidients will end at the judiciary. Una don start dey sing about impeachment 🤣🤣
Politics / Re: US Court To Hear Atiku’s Fresh Suit Against Chicago State University On Tinubu by yusfatedeeprof(m): 1:35pm On Sep 11, 2023
Atiku is hoping to contest again in 2027 and he's using this petition opportunity to try and get hold of Tinubu's records in Chicago University. Probably hoping to get something he can use to disqualify him before the election grin
Politics / Re: Wike: Judiciary Right When Obi Reclaimed Mandate As Gov, Wrong When He Lost by yusfatedeeprof(m): 8:38am On Sep 09, 2023
festacman:
The fact is that Judiciary's treatment of presidential election petitions over the years has always been about avoiding political crises rather than giving justice to petitioners. From Obasanjo, Yar'adua, Buhari and now Tinubu, the worry facing the judges has always been the likely effect of judgement on political stability of Nigeria. Of course, financial inducement or any other interferences may not be ruled out but the mindset of judges is that all politicians are the same and none is worth sacrificing the stability of the country for. Interestingly, in spite of favourable PEPT and Supreme Court rulings in 2014, late Umaru Yar'adua accepted that the election that brought him to office was not free and fair and consequently appointed Uwais committee to suggest ways of strengthening electoral process.

For example in Tinubu's case, outright cancellation wouldn't have solved any problem because:
- The acting president who would have overseen new election is Senate President Godswill Akpabio who is dependable Tinubu's ally.
- The same INEC team that organized the cancelled election would have organized the new election and even in the situation that another INEC chairman is required, Akpabio would still have power to appoint.
- The IG of police who would have overseen the security during the elections would have been a Tinubu boy with 100% loyalty
- Same for security chiefs who would have done everything possible to retain their offices as Tinubu losing means loss of job for them.
In other word, ordering a new election wouldn't actually solved problem except create political crises apart from heavy financial burden on the treasury.

This is why It is important to make uploading results from polling booths mandatory part of the INEC's transmission of results to the collation centre. Otherwise, the current "go to court" shenanigans will continue.

All you've put up there are just mere suppositions. Well, until the petitioners prove to the court they were rigged I don't think it's right to assume that the judiciary doesn't care about justice in presidential elections.

What is justice really? Because some people are crying about it? Or because a section of the public believe the election was rigged? Or you expect the court to find evidence for them? I don't understand, has Obi or Atiku in any way proven to the court that they won?

Let them prove that first and we'll see if the court will overturn the election or not. Then and only then we can talk about the judges not being interested in justice but political stability.

Finitto.

For those who do not have power to read, let me paraphrase in pidgin.

The school say Tinubu, the president of Nigeria attend their school and graduate for 1979.

They come add say, they non understand how school when person attend and graduate in 1979 go heip Atiku Abubakar case for election when they do for 2023 for faraway Nigeria. As in school for 1979 and election for 2023, say as an institution of learning say they non understand the correlation.

They con even talk say if non be say na court tell them to provide this information, e for be like say the person wen make de request na werey, otherwise, how you go talk say they case you don close your case for Nigeria but you wan get information when non concern your case but in case of future case. Na so all of una de think for that una country abi na just this Abubakar?

The school con even vex the more con say, what nonsense? What effrontery? How dare you qwestion our criteria for admitting students into our university? what is your business about how we decide to admit our students, IS IT YOUR ADDMISSION? Do you think our school is a local school. Kai, which kind see finish be this? They still say, they agree fully with Tinubu wen talk say the other information wen dem de ask for non concern Atiku. Werda he get gel friend for school o, or he de late come class o or any of those private information non concern the school as they get better things to do with their time. Time wenn dem suppose de use do research they go de uses am attend to nonsense inquiries.

Abeg the letter is very funny that I am almost tempted to think it is fake.
Obidients and Atikulators say make I ask your address dem just wan reason one or two things with you 🤣

Investment is about risk assessment not profit.

Learn about finances una say no.

How safe is FG bonds compared to Palmpay fixed deposit?
14% to Warren Buffett is probably like 500m dollars. 20% of #1m is 200k in a year, big difference. Also probably you should check my other comments like this one below before jumping into conclusions.

Thanks for responding.
Yes, Opay and Palmpay are the top 2 for me. But Fairmoney is good too and has the highest rate. But if you want to be extremely cautious you can stick to Palmpay and Opay.

And the 3 mfb's are licensed by CBN and all deposits are insured with NDIC.

The FGN savings bond is the safest and risk-free. But Palmpay and Opay are safe too, your money is not going anywhere. They are licensed by CBN and all deposits are insured with NDIC.

how is 9% of #1m, #9.5m? cheesy

That's just under 100k in a year. Some mfb in Nigeria like Palmpay, Fairmoney and Opay are giving 20% or more in one year for fixed deposit.

So far, Peter Obi's people have submitted enough evidence to prove that
1. Shettima had another nomination before he was declared Tinubu's running mate
2. Tinubu didn't get 25% of Abuja votes, which is a constitutional requirement
Don't close your eyes to reality, open it so you can see properly.

These two up there, the drug case and Irev irregularities are DOA. What Peter Obi must prove is:

1. That he got 25% in 8 more states
2. That he won the election with a majority of the votes.

This Shettima's "double nomination" hoax is one of the biggest gaslighting ideas to come out post 2023 election. The whole nation was just thrown into a frenzy because of deliberate obfuscation by lawyers and social media jobmen/jobwomen and even those who should know joined in to cash in as noted by Justice Okoro.

From the judgements of the supreme court justices up there, it's now very obvious that it was a non issue ab initio.

I think mods have a duty to spread this education to douse the lies and ignorance still being spread in social media circles

Politics / Re: Supreme Court Rebuked Atiku Making Reference To 1999 When OBJ Picked Him As VP by yusfatedeeprof(m): 9:30am On May 27, 2023
Imagine that the Supreme Court detailed the merits of the case while our ignorant media reported that the case was solely rejected based on locus standi. This needs to make front page.

Summary of the Supreme Court's remarks
- That Atiku lacks locus standi, but the Supreme Court will address the case's merits since it is a policy court and does so in the public interest.

- That Shettima did, in fact, withdraw his nomination for the Senate on July 6 2022 and new primaries were held on July 10, 2022. Since there was no longer a nomination as of July 6th, how is it possible that there was a double nomination on July 14th when Tinubu chose him to be vice president?

- Shettima wasn't nominated for vice president because there was no primary election; instead, he was picked for the position.

- Social media shouldn't be used to intimidate or bully the Supreme Court, and they should abhor it, labeling it repugnant and unethical.

- Shettima's case is completely different from Nwosu v. APC.

- That Atiku himself benefited from this position because at the time Obasanjo chose him as vice president, he was also a candidate for the gubernatorial election of Adamawa state.

did you use this site to print your bvn?

it has not been working for a while now.
That's true o, I just checked. The option to add a date of birth is not there anymore. My bad

Another way I check my Bvn details is to act like I want to open a new bank account, I use fidelity bank for this. So when you input your bvn on the website your details come up. But that won't suffice as a bvn printout.

The only option now is to reach out to your bank!
