If you don't speak Portuguese prepare for tough time. cool

By the way, where are the travel section mods? They should look into this thread.

UPDATES ON THE STUDY VISA APPOINTMENT SUSPENSION

Hello guys the suspension on Portugal 🇵🇹 Study visa appointment have been lifted, you can check the VFS website, while we wait for official notification
Meanwhile those waiting for appointment can still reachout to their schools, schools are still scheduling Visa appointment for their prospective students.
Those looking for admission, some schools are still on, while some others will open for admission application soon.
For those that want to legalize their documents for admission, you are aware that Portugal 🇵🇹 Embassy have abolish NUC follow up and verification fee applicants pay to get their documents verified and then legalize.
So when you submit your documents will me legalize within 1-2 weeks, so seize the opportunity to get your documents ready for admission application, because of the Universities in Portugal now are requesting for legalize certificate before they can offer you admission.
They haven't lifted anything. I just checked the website.

You are planning to scam someone again right?
I will make sure that I get my 25k back from you

See one trying to impersonate me here , his tactics is whenever someone ask questions on the forum , whenever someone direct a question to a seller, the scammer quickly dm them directly through the number on their siggy to pose as the seller .

Please ignore anyone who claim to be me, I do not dm people first, please take note

Someone customer has reported him to me

I hope we nab him soon
This is the same guy that scammed me 25k earlier this week.
He impersonated Freedomtours. He even mocked me and laugh before blocking me.

I wish I can get him

Bro, the person who scammed you was likely impersonating freedomtours. Things you should have looked out for;

1. If the person emailed you first claiming to be freedomtours

Also you can find all the contact details of freedomtours on his website which you can see on his profile signature. If the person that scammed you have details that does not match what's on the website, it was likely an impersonator.

Always do your due diligence before sending anyone money or making accusations
It is him sir. He emailed first and we exchanged Whatsapp contact via email.

All the transactions happened on Whatsapp.

Hi
Freedomtours is a scammer. He just scammed me of 25k yesterday.
My spirit doesn't want to work with him, but he kept on persuading me. I graduated from OAU and 2024 certificate is yet to be ready. He said that he can help me to get it and I paid him 5k, 10k, 10k.
I have payment receipts.

Don't deal with him, he is a scammer!

May God punish him.
I'm just a struggling corper that got an Erasmus Mundus offer. I have a deadline to send my documents to Europe and OAU is yet to release our certificate.

I will lose my admission and Scholarship if I don't send my documents to Europe next week.

Your school can send to ministry of education your transcript cope and you can come to Abuja to pick it and authenticate if you want to do it yourself or someone can handle it for you.

You are not longer required to send any email from your school again.
Do I still have to come to Abuja?
I thought everything is now online. And it's on the website that physical presence is no longer needed.

Good day everyone

I'm an Erasmus scholar and my first mobility is Portugal. With this new authentication development, they mentioned that the school should send academics transcript to the MoE but on the authentication website, there is a page to upload transcript. Which one should I follow and do I still need to tell my school to send verification letter to the ministry?

Good day scholars.

I recently got Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (consortium scholarship covering full tuition and health insurance) for the program - FRP++ (a 1 years masters degree in Advanced Structural Analysis and Design using Composite Materials).
The scholarship doesn't cover monthly stipend and traveling expenses.

Please, how can I go about sourcing for external funding that can cover my living expenses.

My mobility is Portugal and Italy (learnt that these countries aren't too expensive to survive in).

I also got into FAME-AIS reserve list, but I have a very low chance of getting into the main list because 2 Nigerians have accepted their admission already (obeying the 10% quota for each country).

Please I need your advices.
Christianity Etc › Re: We Went To Beg Oyedepo For School Fees — Nurse Shares Why He Almost Quit Church by yusman14(m): 1:42pm On Feb 21
Let me share my experience with The Elevation Church General Overseer, Pastor Godsman Akinlabi.
I attend the headquarters at Lekki for 1 year during my 400L IT as at 2023. Life is so hard for my family and final year resumption was approaching but I was yet to pay my school fees.

As a member of the church, I discussed with the head admin and junior pastor that I wanna see the Pastor, they kept giving different excuses. Eventually, I narrated my problem to them, and one of the church leaders said that "this church is too big to be seeing pastor for just #87k school fees, this church is for well to do people, what are you doing here if you can't handle #87k, sort yourself Mr man"

I was so sad and went home crying after service that day.
I reached out to Pastor Godsman himself on LinkedIn, he read my message and didn't reply, I texted him again, I think he blocked me or so, I will check my LinkedIn again to confirm.

Laslas, God raised a stranger for me, this man lives in the US, we connected on LinkedIn and he sent me #100k. I sent him my convocation award and he was so proud of the CGPA I graduated with. A very strong 2.1 from OAU engineering.

Most of these pastors ehnn.
I'm an instrumentalist and I've been scammed by a Redeem pastor before, he refused to pay me my one month salary. I played guitar for a whole 1 month moving from Lekki to Ikorodu every weekend with my money and he didn't pay me a dime.

God will judge the matter.

I'm about the complete my NYSC, and looking for a job.
In case anyone here can help, I will really appreciate.

I'm a corper.
Nothing special about this. Female corpers are richer than their male counterpart.

They fake being broke and collect money from different guys while saving their allowance. After service, the guys are always so broke to even go back home. The female use their savings to start up business or get iphone.

I'm not up to 30 years, but I think I'm in the best position to advise you.

I dated a lady with this condition for 1 year +. It used to be very serious before but after different tests, treatment, drugs and diagnosis, she has been able to manage it.

It is from the brain and it can be managed if you truly love her. My ex is beautiful and very intelligent and from a very good and supportive family. Though her dad is in Europe and okay financially, the man has spent alot. She spends at least 100k on drugs every month excluding medical tests.

She attends a private university, and I do travel from my school in Osun to Lagos to check up on her back then. Spend time with her, have fun, and searched for solutions.

Someone mentioned sex issue, seizures doesn't affect that, we had great sex.
She told me that it is not hereditary and our kids can't have it. We broke up due to other circumstances not her health.

Since last year March, I miss her 🥺

I reflected on this deeply today and sincerely I can't pretend to feel your pains. Knowing the cost of paying for app fees, the travails of sending emails, preparing your proposal, reading for your GRE or GMAT, writing essays and SOPs etc and doing that as a Nigerian in Nigeria with all the hardships and challenges, I can't even imagine how you feel.

What is worse are folks planning for 2026 fall admission (MBA) who applied to R1 and just got notices of acceptance in December with scholarships! To realise that it may have been in vain is some calamity that I cannot even comprehend.

I will encourage you to keep hope alive and reach out to other schools. Keep the US tab open but have options.

This is now my default approach to doing things - having a lot of options. It is very expensive but it does keep one moving.

I wish you all the best.
Thanks so much for your encouragement sir.

I really appreciate.
