PoliticsRe: At Last, I Found A Replacement For Fashola: Babatunde Gbadamosi! by yusuf01(m): 4:57pm On Nov 03, 2010
@madejibo
You making a similitude of mechanics is nice, so common sense depicts that next time you want to fix your car, you will give it to someone that will fix it even though he might be charging you more. This is simple, Fasola is not extraordinary sure, but for the fact that he is doing his job is enough reason for anyone to vote for him in this coming elections, He is tested, and even trusted by the people. I don't know, We easily forget the pains we have suffered once there is enjoyment, we have forgotten the pains that our previous leaders have made us to pass through just because we are now living in the enjoyment Fasola has given to use, that make us challenge his credence. Well I don't want somebody I don't know to spoil the work this guy has done, so Fasola for 2011

Kind of funny, I am having this same issue with my girlfriend, only that she is 24 and I am 26. I believe the solution is easy, if that is the only reason you consider that is a negative on his part, just know his size and get some stuffs that fits him, he will gladly collect them because he loves you. I believe your guy doesn't care about his dress sense because he's too busy thinking about/making money.

And I must add this, to all Nlanders saying it's freedom of speech, well what do we call Treason in law(I believe the girl should know better cos I read she's a law student), it's creating public outcry with your actions, So she can be charged for treason(I believe I have anwsered the question of the person that asked what she could be charged for). I think enough of all these arguments, what caused her action is just out of the hatred to Islam as a religion, why can't she go to the Ogun worshippers while they are worshipping thier Idols and start to preach acceptance of Jesus right in front of their faces, I believe she wouldn't dare do that cos of the repercussions that will follow, my point; she realise that she will still be safe after her actions, so she took the risk. And on a last note, like someone said, this religion is like a course, but the different is that you can't carry it over once you have failed, there is no second chance, Try to do your own due dilligence very well before you are confident that you are on the right path, if not, like I said, if you die on the wrong path, there is no second chance.

Sometimes I think that we so called followers of religions are so much brainwashed that, if another group should come tomorrow and start a new religion, and at the same time brainwashing people, it won't be long that you start to see some crazy fanatics, My point; religion is getting too outa hand these days that we have all lost our rational minds, my questions to people(such as the girl in question) is that, you read a book(Bible in this case) and the book tells you that only if you don't accept Jesus, you won't be saved, do you out of your own curiousity find out (by reading another sect's book e.g the Quran) why the other sect believe without an iota of doubt that their way leads to the promise land and why they believe that yours wont. I believe that their is no right way of doing a wrong and there are many wrong ways of doing a right, the girl is very wrong for provocating the praying muslims, do she think that they will repent after her actions? It was just to create pandemonium. I am sorry to say this, but I realise that young and new converts tend to be more aggressive and at the same time targetting people of the opposite sects. I could remember a day around 5 am when a young preacher came to me hall preaching aloud, I called him and told him not to come there again at that akward hour, there are ways of doing things, there are ways you can preach to convert people and not cause chaos. Her action shouldn't be condoned if we are to live in a peaceful environment
BusinessRe: Charge For Not Using Atm (bank) by yusuf01(m): 11:54am On Aug 05, 2010
That is how it's done in SA, they want to encourage the use of ATMs and also to decongest the bank premises.
BusinessRe: Can N2m be made from a soccer viewing centre in 10 months? (After the world cup) by yusuf01(m): 8:46am On Jul 17, 2010
Please guys don't crucify this guy for his business plan, though it seems that its unrealistic but, one thing I know is that people buy comfort so that can help his course, and by the way, he asked for investors not crucifiers.
@poster, I believe it's a good plan but you have a lot of convincing to do to the customers, if not, I have seen a guy with a very good plan but the wrong location, so his plan fluffed big time. My point is that, you have to be extra sure that it will work. And buy the way, I will suggest that you reduce it to #150/200, I think that is resonable enough. All the best in you venture.

SportsRe: Leave Lagerback Outta This Mess by yusuf01(m): 12:31am On Jun 23, 2010
I don't know the reason why after every loss, nigerians always like their coach sacked, a coach is as good as his players, these crop of players lack elementary(or should I say rudimentary) knowledge of football, do you expect a coach to tell a striker how to score a goal, how to pass, or when to do a dummy? I think that is the case with these eagles, bring a Mourinho, a Fergusson or a Gus Hindink, they can't do more than this. How many chances did Yakubu missed, had it been he has scored those chances and we qualified, then largarback's name will be on the first page of nairaland with all the right reasons, nigerians talking about some tactical nonsense, and even martins, I think these crop of players should be discarded and let someone that can unearth players come to the helm, look at Eygpt, their coach has been with them for quite a while now, and they are the best team in africa(though they did not qualify for the world cup), haven't we learn from sacking and hiring coaches, look at the timeline, I think that is madness, let this guy continue and I believe then he will have time to perform the magic that we expect him to perform three weeks to a major tournament. He is not a bad coach as seen from his CV, we nigerians are just bad losers, that is all.
SportsRe: Lagerback's Fate: Should He Be Sacked Too? by yusuf01(m): 8:30pm On Jun 17, 2010
and to add to you guy's pathetic ways of thinking, because swizerland beat the spainish team, does it mean that the coach that has been unbeaten for a lenghty no. of times should be sacked, he went through the qualifiers unbeaten, then if the spainish are nigerians, he should be sacked because of the fact that he lost to lowly swizerland. If we continue this way, hiring and firing coaches, we will always lament,
SportsRe: Lagerback's Fate: Should He Be Sacked Too? by yusuf01(m): 8:11pm On Jun 17, 2010
I believe if Mourinho was appointed as the eagles coach three weeks to tournament like this and he also has this same result as this, there will also be a thread on him asking him to be sacked, I believe all of us are just tacticians, why can't we take up the position of the coach, you cowards. it is very easy to criticize when you are sitting on at the corner of your house, is it not, it is very easy to point fingers, is it not, was he the one responsible for the injuries, or was he the one that made kaita to be sent off. You guys are just dreadful losers, that is all. you guys just blab around like chickens that has their head chopped off. Remember Mourinho's first season at inter, he was knocked out of the champions league with a dreadful performance and the second season he won it. Largerback only spent 3 weeks with these guys before the world cup and you expect him to perform miracles, enough of these pointless criticisms and lets give this guy a chance. Nigerians are just like the English always calliing for the head of their coaches after every defeat, who do we employ now? I believe even Guus Hindink will have his luck run out with us, we are just ingrates, that is all
SportsRe: Lets Be Real, Lagerback Is Trash: by yusuf01(m): 7:01pm On Jun 17, 2010
@ poster, I believe you could as well be the coach, i don't know the problems with nigerians, all we do is to run out mouths after every defeat, was it not the same martins that ruin our chances of qualifying for the final in the nation's cup, after he missed like 4 one-ones. we just blab around saying that this one is bad get rid of him, I believe you were one of those people that was saying that Bergti Vogts is trash that we should get rid of him(even though I am not a fan of him anyway), but we just don't have the patience with these coaches, he only have the time to see his players just 3 weeks before a major tournament, can he perform magic? infact, he has transformed this eagles, all we needed against greece was luck and it was not to be. Or was it is fault that we had players injured? If he had done what you suggested, we could have ended the game with nine men. Remember that this guy's ass is more online than yours, because he'll get fired if he can't perform, your's is just to lament and leave, and moreso he has is always been with these players in training, so he knows what to do better than you.

SportsNow Is Largerback! by yusuf01(op): 6:33pm On Jun 17, 2010
I believe that Nigeria lost the match because of these four factors
1. Sani Kaita's rush of blood to the head
2. Injury problem on the left flank
3. Yakubu's horrendous miss and
4. Eayeama's mistake(lets say its the jabulani ball)
Being that as it may, I don't want to start analysing the match because I believe that that will lead to another thread entirely. But my headache is that Nigeria has over 150 million different sports analysts(tacticians) that just run their mouths after every loss. I was very shocked listening to brilla FM immediately after the match and I heard a caller questioning Largerback substitutions,  this I find very amusing, one, he had to make a substitution to counter the effect of the red card and at the same time he has to make sure that we still have a better chance of qualification, then he brought out Osaze (who was not effective in the first half) and replaced him with an Obazi. The tactical reason behind that is that Osaze is just a winger that cannot make tackles, he brought Obazi that is also a winger and can also make some strong tackles in the match(which we witnessed in the match we he made a tackle off a greek player close to the byline), then he can't rush making substitutions cos we are one man down(which was justified because of the injury to both players on the left flank, had it been that he rushed the substitutions, we could as well finished the game with nine men).
The problem I have is that can we keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results, look at the timeline, we have been sacking and hiring coaches at will saying they are not good enough, and helped by the so called "tacticians" and the media in our country that get these coaches sacked because of the pressure they put on the FA. I believe it's high time we stayed with one coach and stop this madness, we are just like the English, their media is their own achilles hill, they put pressure on the FA so much that the change coaches as the ladies change their clothes. I believe this guy (largerback) must be given a chance and be allowed to take this country to the place that we want them to be,  if not we will just be like England with so much promises and no end return.
Music/RadioRe: 2face's Unstoppable Is Worth More Than 1k by yusuf01(m): 1:49pm On Jun 10, 2010
In as much as I respect your taught, I still believe that your reason is not well placed, Tu face is good, no doubt but I think he's living on past glory and trying to rip nigerians with his new album, that is not a wise choice. I believe by trying to sell his album for 1k only gives room to allow his work to be pirated, judging by his last album and the thing he had with R kelly(an abstract collabo), and coupled with the outrageous price of his album, I don't think it will be a success. And the thing you said about P square, I beg to disagree, I don't think that there is any artist in Nigeria that is more hardworking than those brothers, they might not be good with all their songs, but each album of theirs is always a step ahead of the previous and I think that is the reason they are nominated for the BET awards, coupled with the $1m they won, those guys are the best in Nigeria no doubt.
CelebritiesRe: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Wale Scott A Disgrace To Nigeria Journalists by yusuf01(m): 3:41pm On Jun 09, 2010
I dont think you all realize that WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE (atleast the celebrity version) is a recorded show in which everything that happens there is based according to a script. do you really think anyone wont know which African countries are in the world cup? a sport journalist for that matter.
if wale scott had given the answer, how will Father Bassey be a part of the show?
Abeg learn somethings about such shows before you come here and start talking trash.
@Tcrack, I believe Wale Scott can't put his reputation on line just to satisfy a script,  I have been to WWTBAM and I know how it is recorded, the thing is that the show is recorded earlier than the time it is usually aired, that doesn't say that they acting on a script.
CelebritiesRe: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Wale Scott A Disgrace To Nigeria Journalists by yusuf01(m): 3:18pm On Jun 09, 2010
Anybody that knows Wale Scott very well will know how the guy attacks almost everybody in NFF/NFA, nigerian football, infact the guy talks alot and to now try to say that anybody could have made a mistake is out of the question. I can remember there was a time during Mourinho's time at chelsea and Mourinho said that he might use a center half or Hilario as a center striker(due to injury crises in chelsea at the time) in the FA cup final against Man U, I remembered vividly how wale was lambasting Mourinho, saying that he is the dumbest coach he has ever seen(due to the hatred he has for him, wale being a Man U fan). Well the thing is that, since the guy has started wearing that dread of his, he is now an object of scorn. I believe the guy should just resign in his post at Inspiration FM because of this national disgrace, or if his ego won't let him, all sports journalists should just start campaigns against this guy so that he won't drag their names in the mud.
