Thank you for your response 2bed room should be fine. Thanks for your suggestions EngrSaks: Welcome...what area are you looking to stay? Near the city centre? near a school? Near the high street? Near the hospital? What kind of house are your looking for? A room? 2 rooms? A bungalow, a terraced house? A semi detached or a country home? So many questions...you need to know what you want first then find the kind of house you want in the area you want...use the postcode of the area you want to search for a place...spare room for rooms and rightmove for houses...
You will find a decent amount of Nigerians in Portsmouth |

Thank you Brightingsus Brightingsus: Definitely yes, u can use family or friend's house and you will definitely be asked this at POE. Adhering to it is a requirement but advisory cos there is no real way of policing it |

Hi fam,
Please for the 14days quarantine, can one use a family or friends house as his location for quarantine? And must the 14 days isolation be strictly adhered to...asking for a friend who has an exam to write within that 14days |

You have to make a separate application for the child...when you open the link where you made the application for spouse, you will find that there are 2 links...one for "Partner visa" and another for "Child visa" Cerebrae: I have a question please
In applying for a spouse and child(2 months old) for dependant visa. Do I need to apply for both separate or the mother's application covers for the child?
It's kind of confusing to see that only the spouse documents are required for the biometrics. |

You don't need to pay for flexi...choose the same day and tell them you are a family on that day. Your applications will be attended together UPrincess: Families are encouraged to use Flexi appointment. I have tried the option but no date. What will happen if we all choose premium lounge with the same time? This option is available for Friday but not same with Flexi till maybe late December. Positive suggestion will do. |

Reallyyy? It's a serious something oh. I did on 26th in Abuja too, still waiting. soldierboy1001: The situation is really strange at that Abuja TLS, I am yet to see anybody that did with me on the 18th that has gotten a decision. It seems they are having technical issues as some people who did on the 16th were called back to start fresh applications with new visa fees. Though they were advised to request for refunds for the fees paid in the old application. |

boyka1: Please permit me to add voice to this.
You honestly dont need a letter of Maintenance in a situation where your employer had ticked YES against " Certify Maintenance for applicant and Dependants if any" on the Certificate of Sponsorship (COS). If by any chance, your employer certify maintenance for only applicant, in this case you could approach your employer for a LOM.
In my case, i printed my wife's COS and uploaded as evidence of proof of funds. |

Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Yuzee(f): 2:41pm On Oct 28, 2019 |
Oh wow...I just saw this, thanks. I have submitted...I used Abuja. Fingers crossed. Candybright: If you are not in Lagos or Abuja and have to fly to any of the states, I will advise you go to Abuja because it's stressfree. From airport, no traffic till you reach biometrics centre in about 20mins, do your biometrics without stress and head back to the airport if you want to travel back same day. And like someone said, processing may be faster in Abuja too cos I know someones that did normal and not priority service and got back passport with visa in less than one week. |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Yuzee(f): 8:21pm On Oct 19, 2019 |
And I'm hoping mine goes as fast as yours or even faster lol jeito1: @Yuzee, I will strongly advise you to chose Abuja. I had my Biometrics on the 3rd Oct and TLS sent me an email to come for my passport on 16th Oct. Mind you, it was Standard and not Priority. |
