Hi all.

Do you think it's too late to apply for a tudent visa by next week for school that is starting on 22 september?

My sponsor is away from the country is due back in the country this weekend so I haven't been able to do anything and the school just sent sent me a confirmatory letter of admission (it is unconditional).
Romance › Re: Sistas Help! (marriage Plans On The Way. Love Still Missing In Transit.) by yvy1(f): 4:44pm On Aug 27, 2008
Girls are very good pretenders. I feel for her, Here is a man she appreciates and respects and is in love with her but she just doesn't feel that spark for him. Or should I say that he just doesn't bring that 'va' into the 'va va voom' of the relationship. She might grow to love him. It happens all the time. Because most chicks I know always pray for a guy to be more in love with them than they are with him as this helps to bring more tolerance of shortcomings. She should take some time off, experience a change of environment without him so she can view the relationship from a different perspective. That should help.
Car Talk › Re: Best Everyday Automobile For Lagos: Nominations For 2008 by yvy1(f): 3:21pm On Aug 27, 2008
Any toyota product, just make sure it is automatic cos u wouldn't really want a bad knee from pressing the clutch all the time. Besides, their A/C is very tight, as u very well know, A/C is no longer a luxury but a neccessity for the hot weather, rains and for protection against street thieves in the go-slow supermarket. Hondas are good but not as A/C tight as Toyotas. These two brands have ok body parts that won't dent too easily when you're struggling with bus drivers for road space unlike Kia and Hyundai brands. Theirs shocks and shafts are also good for all those lagos potholes unlike the Nissan and of course cheaper than the BMWs and Mercedes. A fast car is a neccessity for late night driving but a very fast car is very unneccessary because there is nowhere for you to speed in this town

I think she was deliberately set up to win. If you look at the top 5 you'll see that the rest were made to look like housegirls next to her in their costumes and her answers looked very rehearsed

Much as I love Second Chance or body of desire (whatever they decide to call it). Inever seem to be near a tv when it's on air and would really love a scene by scene synopsis.

ono:
Truth be told, Ibori did extremely well in Delta, while he was governor of that state. Just go to the major towns and villages in Delta to see things for yourself.

All those dragging Ibori to court . . . . and I mean any court for that matter. . . . . are wasting their precious time and energy. The man is loved by his people at home and in the diaspora. So, why waste precious resources on nothing useful?
the street in front of my father's house in Agbor has never been tarred. The Lagos/Asaba road is a deathtrap. The road in front of Obi's palace was just graded and not tarred. After 8 yrs in power. Isn't Federalism all about bringing the government closer to the grassroots? I'll reserve the insult of half current for the Federal Government

Pls explain to me 'what is extremely well'

Celebrities › Re: Britney Spears Loses Custody Of Her Kids by yvy1(f): 6:42pm On Oct 02, 2007
I agree with you uchetobi. Britney Spears' biggest mistake in life was getting hooked up with a loser and gold digger like K-Fed. He's in it for the palimony. Poor girl. Why didn't she sign any prenup or get her mum to watch her kids for her?

Meanwhile K-Fed's babymama and ex-chick, Shar Jackson, is a host on the EX WIVES CLUB show on series channel on friday. I guess she's drawing from her experience with a loser who dumped her for a hotter chick with more cash to help these ex wives move on with their lives.
