CROWNWEALTH019:you are not just a fool but a ripe one. Maniac! |
Happy birthday sir. |
What I love most about this is the fact the children were picked from public schools. That is the sign of a man who feels the pulse of the underprivileged. Unlike a certain Dino who welcomed children from his son's obviously expensive school just to show us he feeds the piglet well. Osinbajo's action is a breath of fresh air. |
Hezekiah Oluwasanmi (Ife). |
Tazdroid:don't worry, by the time they land for kirikiri and they become neighbours to naija hardened criminals who haven't brush their teeth for one month and who will stiffle them both with their horrible mouth ordour and half cooked beans fart (mess), that smile go turn to serious agony. they will know the difference between Sapaulo and sambisa. Lol |
This man is the greatest Christian alive! |
ogechooky:hey take it easy bro. Just messing around. Of course I know foab exist, just wants to mess around with the op. We know the Russians like playing catch up with the US. So if moab has been developed since 2003 do u expect the Russians to be sleep-talking between then and now? I'm just too scared of where this might lead to. |
My friend if you don't have anything meaningful to write just go and take a nap. There is nothing like foab pls. |
scully95:Ordinarily, I wouldn't have dignify your insultive and very unsportsmanlike comments with a response. But then, looking at it again, I think you need some schooling about the dynamism of power play. FYO, I never argued that the West aren't hypocritic. It is unseemly to want to navigate the course of world politics without getting your hands soiled. That's why it is called diplomacy: the ability to do the nastiest things in the nicest way. Concerning the Crimea incidence you mentioned, let's analyse a scenario. Let's say Israel just forcefully encroach into Nigeria and annexed the entire eastern region because she feels there are cultural connection between them. Now, there is nothing wrong with seeking self determination, it is part of the provision of the Atlantic charter which has now been drafted into the UN charter. But there are provisions and guidelines as regards that tense subject. You my friend should tell me of any country that the US and West in general had ' conscripted ' because of poorly defined cultural links. Russia is making itself looks like that foolish late bloomer who believes the best way to measure up is to do the 'undoables'. Russia's quest to be at par with the West is prompting her to take very questionable steps but unfortunately Putin doesn't have the tact to cover his tracks. In power politics it is not what you do that really matters it is what the world think of your actions. Take it or leave it, today, Trump is being celebrated because he ordered an assault on the official number one pariah of the world at the moment. In addition, never insult or make use of derogatory terms when you argue with people whether on social media on in real life discussion.Table your opinion logically and maturely. If diplomats use such harsh words on one another when they discuss issues we will all be in the bush today hiding away because of war. |
Zoharariel:Funny that it is bullies who complain more about witch-hunt. Moscow's accusation is very hypocritical and, need I say, self-serving. Putin should have thought of the word 'aggression' when he defiled all sanctity of international law by blatantly ripping apart Ukraine's right to enjoying unhindered control over it's territory when he ordered the annexation of Crimea and dared any country to stop him. The point is this, if you have taken time to study power relations between Russia and the US, you'll see that both these countries like the world to view their actions from the moral angle. The moral card Russia played when it annexed Crimea was that the people of Crimea which share significant cultural link with her, had to endure painful discrimination from the then pro west government that replaced the unpopular Pro-Russian guy. Washington on its part is hanging its involvement on the need to halt what it believes to be a crime against humanity. When Russia annexed Crimea, the US only goofed and kicked without any tangible action because looking at it logically, she will in the same vein annex any country that can help her halt the incursion of Russia. In this Syrian wahala, Russia will only goof and kick because deep down she knows there is no where in hell it could win the moral war in this case. Bottom line, Assad crossed the red line by killing his people with banned weapons. Every logical person knows this and forget about any military pact Russia has with any country for now. Moscow will be wary of being tagged the friend of a distinguished international pariah-Assad and his murderous regime. |
Thomas Hobbes in his state of nature hypothesis said "might makes right". This criminal makes it appear like Nigeria is in Hobbes' a state of nature. People like this should be locked up and the keys flung into the Atlantic Ocean. |
DollarAngel:Jealous! You make me laugh. I don't fall into the category of the irrational nairaland tribal cockroaches. I'm more concerned with dissemination of the truth. You want reliable info as it affects such important topic and you hinged your source on ' gossipmill' naija? Man, go get more education! |
DollarAngel:you need to come back to reality from the world of illusion. The OP just played an 'April fool' joke on you. Don't get ahead of yourself. Go and check the fact. |
Zoharariel:my friend let's get real here. For a country like the US which invest billions of dollars in defenc research year in and year out, I bet by now they must know fully well the capacity and Achilles heels of that missile. For ur information, US started massive Mobilization of resources to perfect supersonic missile technology during Reagan's administration. Now, imagine the advancement they must have made between then and now. THAAD wasn't envisaged when 'rogue' N. Korea kingkonging about its intention to blow its South neighbour and Japan back to the stone age. Now it is working on way of improving its launching turbine to see if luck will smile on her. But seriously, you should expect a powerful, advanced and technologically brilliant state like the US to know what is at stake. The US knows she is surrounded by haters and hence, always one step ahead of its antagonists. Don't be over mesmerized if the US comes out with a certain 'hyperTHAAD' that could just make the Zircon looks like kite. |
People like you are threat to our national security! |
I still find it hard to see what's so special about this book to warrant its being recommended as one of JAMB's use of English text. The story lacks depth and not better than some of the text my niece read for her junior waec (BECE) . |
profhezekiah:I completely agree with bro. It's very clear that most Nigerians join the army for the swank and not because they are influenced by a sense of duty. |
I wish those low lives avengers mistake the smile for a kind of affection so that they can safely end up in the belly of the Nigerian Army. |
When E H Carr, Henry Kissinger and most notably, Hans Morgenthau, among other realist thinkers argued persuasively in the aftermath of the gruesome ww2 that the idealist paradigm is a tall and unreachable dream, more than few wrote them off as a clique of sadistic warmongers. Morgenthau couldn't have been more right when he summised that nation states are driven by the quest for power- power to control the mind and actions of other men. China's seeming disregard for PCA rulings over the western phillipine sea debacle, clearly authenticates the fear of most feather weight states that "the force of any internation law is only forceful to the extent of the state to which it applies". |
She appears to be suffering from acute "blue fever”. Lol. Pls Pardon my french. |
Honestly, I think I'm starting to develop a lot of respect for this Putin guy especially since his second coming. Most of kremlin's responses and reactions to Washinton's maneuvers have been very calculative. It seems Mosco has adopted a 'two-faced' approach in its dealings with the US. The first is mutual aggresion and the second is mutual rapprochement. The annexation of parts of mainland Ukraine to halt US/NATO further incursion into eastern europe and its unbending stance in the Syrian wahala are clear cases in point. Conversely, Mosco's support( though tacit) for US positions on ISIS and other jihadi groups makes it to probably be saying " if na fight u want u want we ready n if na peace u want we dey house". Lol |
Nigeria has a well trained army but seriously lacking in Equipment.my friend, upon what indices are u basing your claim? |
I strongly doubt the US government will put out a defence or assault technology that will get easily peed on by some ordinary Russian radar. Lockheed martin is known to always come out with military hardwares that never disappoint in causing the Russians at least 2 to 3 decades of serious headache. So Op forgive me if I dare to your story is fabricated. |
The fallout of the brexit political debacle clearly shows that it will almost likely be a political suicide to leave very sensitive political decisions to the whims and dictates of the generality of the people. If conjoined twins can have differing views over issues that affect their sensibilities, I see no reason why issues that border on the unity, common prosperity and the continued existence of people who more often than not are driven by parochial, selfish and shortsighted sentiments. Research had shown that most of the Brits who voted on the "LEAVE" side, did so without having a full grasp of the pros and the cons that are associated with their decisions. Now, this is society that pride itself as having some of the most enlightened citizens in the world. Clearly, the foul stench that the British political space has been inundated with after what may turn out to be one of the greatest political errors of our time, may just underscore the fact that leaving important political decision to an educated citizenry does not necessarily translate to the birth of a sound state policy decision. This brings to mind the ceasless clamour by some disgruntled elements who have been clamouring for a Biafra republic. If many of the "sophisticated" Brits who voted for brexit could in a matter of days agreed to have done so in great error, I'm super sure that most of those agitating for Biafra are doing so without any all encompasing logic. Many of those who have argued for Biafra are clearly intellectual vegetables. They merely talk for the sake of talk without resting their argument on the back of solid political and logical templates. They do so without asking sensible political questions such as: upon what theory of integration will the new nation or state be built, what direction its economic interraction will take in relation with the country it hopes to break away from? These among others are some the salient questions any serious country seeking to disrupt integration needs to ask. It is not just okay to yell and shout and talk for the sake of making oneself to be heard without making any sensible contribution to the subject under discourse. When that is done it amounts to what my prof described as “intellectual masturbation" because you are only getting yourself and those who think like you excited. |
D last time I checked OAU is still for “Learning and Culture. Culture in the context of the school`s motto connotes respct- respect not just for constituted authority but for the uniqueness of other peoples beliefs and our traditional cultures. The lady's dressing here is a complete show of disregard to that tenet. |
I don't know wether to pitY the people of these states or deride them with scornful laughter. When you praise your child for abusing an elder because you don't like him, then you must be ready to accept the world's verdict when he defiles your bed and calls you a weakling. |
The PDP is clearly a house on fire. The party is clearly made up of individuals with self serving idiosyncracy. May this great nation never have to walk that path again! |
