This is the mistake most applicants make, year in year out. Relying on a phone call to a coper. Same coper will tell you interview was conducted. For your information, you don’t submit cv, you submit a letter that’s tagged “ Request for consideration as an accountant” application for employment as confidential secretary“ application for quacy staff as mechanical engineer” “request for engagement as electrical engineer” etc then you attach cv with reachable contact information and credential’s address to MD. It’s called correspondence. They must receive it. Some organizations will give email if they don’t receive hard copies. Am very much aware of someone who wrote to NSIA but he was given an email. He sent his cv and was called for interview but unfortunately he missed the date he didn’t check his mail. Same thing in NUPRC they collected the hard copy as at then and was called. Many organizations did collect hard copies. After submission, you should then start distributing the acknowledgment copy like a flier to any connect that has refused to pick your call on WhatsApp. You may also wish to attach the name of the MD and board chairman on your WhatsApp message. You should be working on something tangible instead of constantly and continually asking which agency is dishing out APL’s. You might be lucky. Another agency underway will soon call for test, then interview. Some applicants are so intelligent they got A-list agency on merit. By the way, is it everything NL will tell you? Figure things out, be audacious.

Yes, they will create more vacancies next yr. Currently, NCGC has approval to recruit just 40 persons. They don’t need bloated staff bcuz they are new. They have gone far with their recruitment. Names already sent for approval but APL has not been issued. More vacancies will be created by Q1, 2026 Meaning if you doesn’t succeed in Q1, 2026 then wait for November/December 2026 where more vacancies will be created again. What they need are those with experience on credit analysis.

I’m very much aware they had a small recruitment drive a few months ago. I also have reliable contacts in that office, very trusted friends but none of them have confirmed any upcoming intake. Perhaps someone here might have more information about it but I doubt otherwise “my men for hint me ASAP”. It's often said here that recruitment can happen without HR's knowledge, which seems surprising to me, but I suppose it's possible. Na naija we dey!!

With the Senate approving the amendment of the PIA. MOFI will become more powerful. I was shocked when I was told the amount for their first 28 days for level 8.

BOI was established by law. It was formerly NIDB (which was established by act of parliament) before it was restructured to BOI and made to operate like a private company but owned by CBN and MOFI.
DBN is partly owned by Nigeria (MOFI and NSIA) , AFDB, European Investment Bank and German Development Bank. Nigeria has controlling shares though. No wonder DBN pays better than BOI 😁

Since their establishment didn't go through NASS, it was just announced by the president. Or would they later send a bill to the house to back them up by law?

All these agencies you mentioned are SPV’s. agencies like AMCON, Credit Corp CNG among others are indeed Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) established by the Federal Government. AMCON staff were previously given the option to transition to either the NDIC or CBN. The status of these SPVs can be subject to change, depending on the administration's interests, unless a bill is passed into law by the National Assembly. In the event of dissolution, staff may be redeployed to other agencies within the same ministry or receive severance packages.

Well, I’m not doubting your intelligence. After all, NUPRC intentionally reserved over 30 GT slots for aggrieved stakeholders same thing with PTDF. Is possible Jennifer also reserved some reasonable slots for aggrieved stakeholder’s that might show case their ugly heads after the recruitment.

You may kindly wish to double check this information properly because they employed 3 months ago. Very good place to be. 1.8m salary for grade level 12,
13 month payment allowances in millions, Upfront payment every January in millions, quarterly allowance payment every 3 months plus one bag of rice each staff every 3 months. There are other additional allowances.

Which would you advise I go for considering future prospects of the job, growth, benefits, and opportunities. I know the salary of FFS is more than that of the Ministry, but I’d like to know about other advantages.

Don’t bother about the salary for now. I’ll advise you to choose federal ministry because of access to government high impact projects and initiatives and professional networking.
