It is not a must.
It shows that you have retained your name for a long. Some people change their name once they did wrong but this document shows long-time name retention.
Old documents are sometimes very good just like old pictures...

Testimonial is fine. Primary school certificate is not compulsory but you can include it in your application of you have.

My cousin is trying to book an appointment at IOM Ikeja but it keeps saying your appointment already exists.
But nothing actually exists. No email confirmation or whatsoever.

I had the same situation, but during my application, my residence card was 2 months to expiration. So it was rejected. Which country are you applying from and what is your residence status then?
If you are a student then, I think u must explain why u want another study permit.
But the cic quotes that you can apply from outside your country so far you hold legal immigration.
'If you are submitting an application to come to Canada for any reason, you must have permission to be in the country where you are living when you submit the application. If an applicant submits an application from a country other than their country of nationality, they need to submit proof that they are legally able to do so. If proof of the applicant’s legal residence in the foreign country is not included with the application, this will be a reason for refusal of the application.'

for instance; after I had submitted my application, I uploaded a deed of gifts from my sponsor using the webform. Am I supposed to send it once or more than once? I only did it once here.

if opening balance was 4m and closing was 22m that is too much difference , even my first thought is that account was inflated especially with minimum inflow and outflow , these do's set get sense now , if the difference between opening and closing was still 5m that's okay but from 4m to 22m suddenly is quite a lot.

Hello please, I need your comment on this:
My sponsor wants to sell his crypto so he can show more money for my travel. This money will be deposited in his account which i intend to use by next year.
I am afraid the visa officer saying "a large sum was deposited" as I intend to submit it by January.
Is there any way, I could go about this?
He had kept about 10K dollars in his assets and he would be receiving it in his euro bank.
what should I do pls or how can I justify this money?

I actually did not pick that I have given medical before because I have not. So here, I picked NO
I think it's because I picked YES that I have lived in some territories.

So do I go online to download a form of the request for the medical exam?
Because on the online platform, nothing is there to download. It only says upload and indicates its required.

Please share me your thought.

Yes, that's how it should be, I think once you download the document it should show you option of choosing if you would need medical assessment based on list of countrys that needs medical assessment, fill accordingly, upload and proceed.

My wife wants to apply for Canada visa and she lives in Germany (Just migrated)
Does she have to go back to Nigeria before she can apply? And what must be met considering that she lives outside her country of Nationality before she can apply?

She would be applying alone, as I have no plans of going with her.
