noscarn91: Amen chief. It will end in praise for us. Paid a deposit around 16k aud and was thinking visa will be fast and sharp sef. I think the problems with visa processing for countries like nigeria is the difficulty in verification of documents and high chances of submission of bogus documents. |

The US has always been clamouring for democracy in all countries. If Nigeria democracy is the same that is been used in all other countries, then this system of government is inappropriate. Nigeria has never been faced with these kind of corruption, impunity, recklessness in her history. The ways and manner they loot money, form committees, attend meetings scares me ... Certain members of house of assembly representating their constituency since 1999. Same people changing posts since 1999. Oh my God.. Just saw a well dressed young lady walking in the middle of third mainland bridge.. She looks like someone coming from office. Had to call lagos state emergency number to send rescue team unless when it gets a dark a lil, she gonna be dead gone .. God help and save us all.... I wanted to collect a small parcel I bought from Asia at the Marina Post Office last week and I was told to pay #500 before collection. The value of the item is not even upto #1000. This is absurd, the sender has paid postal charges in the country of origin, why pay here again. Do you pay any charge before you collect your parcel in other post office in your location or your countries ?? I even need numbers of management of nigeria postal services for explanation atleast they are public servants. |

I refer to Abimbola Adelakun’s article on the ouster of Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State recently. Talking of Nyako’s purported memo to his counterparts in the North, permit me to quote the part of the article that warmed the cockle of my heart: “Rather than merely shouting him down or discrediting him as a frustrated and petulant noisemaker, I thought some of his accusations were grievous enough to warrant at least a legislative hearing. He should have been made to prove his allegations and if he failed, subjected to appropriate punishment.” I am truly happy that someone is sharing my line of thought in this regard. I have argued with some of my friends that an investigative panel should have been set up to look into the heavy allegations, against President Goodluck Jonathan, as a person. Interestingly and curiously too, Jonathan has, till date, neither denied nor affirmed those allegations. He has not even spoken about them. He, rather than address the issues, sent his errant boys to criticise Nyako. To me, this is not an issue that should be swept under the carpet. It should be recalled that Nyako, a former Chief of Defence Staff, could not have sat down and fabricated all those weighty allegations, just the same way Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was not seen as someone who would have accused Jonathan of training 1,000 snipers. With this gale of impeachment, harassment, and intimidation, I doubt if any Nigerian, who has any dossier on Mr. President, would be willing to volunteer such in the public. Sanusi wrote Goodluck Jonathan and he was removed from office as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Murtala Nyako also wrote the President and he was impeached as Adamawa Governor. I think it is safe to say there would be no more letters of criticisms addressed to Jonathan. President Jonathan keeps getting stern and grave as 2015 approaches. With all his strategies towards the achievement of his 2015 ambition, I am in awe of all he has been doing to achieve his desires by any means possible despite below par performances. If GEJ can devote all these strengths and strategies he has been using to achieve his 2015 ambition towards solving INSECURITY, CORRUPTION, UNEMPLOYMENT, HIGH STANDARD OF LIVING felt by all and sundry, I am CERTAIN we would all unanimously Vote him back to office in 2015. GEJ looks more decisive than OBJ that was also desperate when he wanted to achieve his third term agenda then. It is obvious you would be dealt with if you are an impediment to the 2015 ambition of GEJ. We have started seeing examples. How do we expect an honourable, decent, and ethical fellow to participate in this type of politics ? Frankly, all of you are corrupt, thieves and heartless bunch. It is obvious you will continue to be president till 2019 but please perform positively (We want security, employment, electricity and high standard of living) as you loot. Thank you. @zeemho |
