Apart from Islam all the others carries the name of their founder.

Christ..... Christianity
Budha... Buddhism
Juda..... Judaism
Jani....... Janism
That's because Islam is the only one named by its founder. The names of the other religion came after them. All they bothered with was sharing a way of life.

Where's the African tradition religion? Una dey whyne?
I don't expect Africans to do this thing. There's no such thing as African Tradition religion. Every other race lists it's religions separately but we lump them all together. That's what is done when you don't think a thing is important enough to name. Like how you say "Ade, Ibrahim and others". List the religions, treat them as separate because they all are.

They are looking for fools and future slaves.

The world is moving at a fast pace beyond human comprehension. Only IT tools can help kids get along and stay updated.

If you have parental control and firewalls, expose your kids to a laptop and tablet. Get them into programming languages and auto as young.

The future won’t be about those with certificates but those who grew up with tech and access to informations.
IT tools isn't same as social media use.

HealthRe: Kidney Disease Mortality Rate Per 100,000 People by ZeemsPropeties: 11:39am On Aug 27, 2025
malali:
Nigeria’s “low” kidney disease mortality figures are misleading. Most deaths go uncounted because many patients never get tested, can’t afford dialysis, or die under the care of traditional healers without a medical record. Weak death certification systems mean the cause is rarely coded as kidney failure.

Key drivers include: poorly managed hypertension and diabetes, fake or substandard drugs, toxic herbal remedies, environmental pollutants, and misuse of painkillers. These factors silently fuel kidney damage.

In reality, Nigeria’s true burden is likely closer to countries reporting much higher rates. The “low numbers” reflect under-reporting, not fewer deaths, making kidney disease a hidden epidemic in the country.
You desperately want us higher up the list that bad?

PoliticsRe: I’ve Been To America; It’s Not Better Than Nigeria – Odumeje by ZeemsPropeties: 7:48am On Aug 27, 2025
This is true. How much you enjoy a country depends on how hard you work. If you work really hard in Nigeria, you can easily get out of the system. Buy a piece of land ( no matter how small), build something ( no matter how small) and you are free from rent. Businesses are easier to start here than over there. Bills are even cheaper. The advantages you have as a Nigerian in Nigeria are boundless.

Remember, you are only limited by your mind. Let no one convince you otherwise.

The writer na the person wey them talk say e papa lock for 5 years for hut ? Cus how minimum wage take be 30k... Jokes apart what you have said is true. And it is affecting the whole school system ..I am a make teacher, although I am in a better paying school ..and argument with high end home lesson customers. But I see what is going on in other schools through the lesson notes of my lesson students... It's just so obvious the teachers just come to class just to fulfill all righteousness and get their monthly stipend...

As a parent please look into what is going on in your wards school ..it's not just enough to pay school fees ( no matter how high the school fees may be ) infact the schools paying the highest school fees do the highest cover up and you think your child is good but he's rotting away intellectually and academically.
How can someone in ss3 not know how to do L.C.M, a science student for the matter ...

I rest my case Sha ... May God help us all ...
It's not easy at all
No lies told. A lot of schools with high fees have a policy not to fail students. They would rather let go of teachers that don't conform than show parents the actual state of their child's learning. In a lot of these schools, all they focus on is speech. As long as the child can speak well, they are not bothered about anything else.

You want to clone banks or multinationals, and If everyone becomes employers, how will the world survivehuh
The world would survive. Capitalism is based on payment for value. You would find that no job would be a person deemed without value yet no job pays you what you truly deserve. As long as a person as value to give, no matter the system run, they would survive. Although, it is not possible for everyone to be self employed (some people will prefer to be employed as self employment as its own issues), if such a situation ever arises, life will go on.

It is not everything the state government should do. This is a job for the private sector. And, frankly, if someone hasn't built something there, it's because there's hardly any market there.
PoliticsRe: Local Production: Rice Mills Collapsing by ZeemsPropeties: 10:25am On Aug 23, 2025
According to the report, 10 per cent of all rice sales (N245 billion) takes place in formal retail establishments, with the remaining 90 per cent taking place in the informal market, where it is sold in loose form through traditional vendors.
This still sounds like a ₦2.5 trillion market unless this article is just a shill for formal outlets.
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Filling Stations Reduce Fuel Price To Compete With NNPCL, Others by ZeemsPropeties: 7:04am On Aug 22, 2025
Biofil84:
ok zeems I totally understand u.. so let's return to subsidy era cos the aim has been defeated already cos am not enjoying the post subsidy era or the benefit of the money realised from it. Nigerians have not seen anything concrete the money was used for to warrant us been happy about the subsidy removal and from what we hear we are still very much in the importation of fuel, borrowings have tripled and the value of the naira has fallen deeply accompanying with sky rocket prices of consumer goods.

I dont know about you but I think I enjoyed and benefited more as an individual when there was subsidy and I am speaking the mind if most Nigerians, most families cant feed, children are been withdrawn from schools, societal ills or vices have skyrocketed with deepening in poverty level, c,mon let's face the facts things are worst now than before but life is about progression but all I can see is retrogression.

I rest my case.
Things being "worse now" is relative. Issues like those you listed have always happened. And while it's sad that it happens, fuel subsidy removal is not the direct cause of it. Also, as you have rightly said, life is about progress and not regress. Returning to an old era will erode all forms of progress made, so don't you think we should forge ahead?

Market forces.
But does this regime have any plans to get this fuel price to where they met it
What plans do other contestants have?
We desperately need well structured public debates btw our political aspirants
No government can get it back to pre-2023 prices. That era is gone forever. That price was artificial to begin with, we only had that because of subsidy. Let's accept this new price and stop yearning for a price that would never come back (unless subsidy is returned)
HealthRe: Social Media And Your Mental Health by ZeemsPropeties: 4:20am On Aug 21, 2025
In my opinion, Social media is like any other innovation. It's effect on the mental health state depends on how it is used.
I'd say let your kids use it early but under control. Ease them into it, highlight it's advantages and disadvantages to them but don't let them "discover" it themselves. Things will tend to go out of hand that way.
Don't avoid social media. Use sparingly and advertise a service while using it.

wats comparative adjective?
I thought it's comparative cost or absolute cost advantage.
It's an advantage over others in production of a good. In this instance, Niger state has such an advantage by virtue of it's land mass.

Edit: I meant advantage. I don't know what came over me grin grin
PoliticsRe: Niger Gives Lagos 100,000 Hectares For Food Production by ZeemsPropeties:
Partnerships always work better. Let a state with comparative advantage in agriculture focus on that and let another with comparative advantage in logistics take charge afterwards. This is a good plan and I hope more of such plans are reached.
Slow but steady, we are getting there.

BusinessRe: Six Steps To Keep A Business Legally Active – CAC by ZeemsPropeties: 7:15pm On Aug 19, 2025
nomorespams:
This CAC guys are either not proactive or they just want to be stagnant with their operations..

This CAC can be used effectively not only to know how to tax businesses well but to also gauge the number of businesses available and use that tool in seek foreign investment or stimulate productivity in GDP..

Inorder to register a business, you need a lawyer to do this for you, this is wrong, SMES constitute the bulk of businesses in Nigeria and most of them are carried out by people with a capital of less than ₦50,000.. so from the little money they have you want them to go and pay a lawyer about ₦10-15k depending..? Why?
Make it accessible to everyone to register by themselves on the website! By doing this even people with selling tomato by the road side and register their business and yes if they want to keep the business name running they pay the fee supposed which I know most will, In making this very accessible even to the unlearned you are able to glean how much businesses are on ground and use that to project future development indexes and what nots, and it will also enable FG to know how to better improve the business environment.

2. There should be CAC office or representative in every medium sized to large markets. Why must registration be only online? Only about 40% or so of Nigerians are Educated and internet savvy..why now neglect the others that also have their business..this registration should be so accessible that even an aboki that didn't go to school can meet an agent or enter CAC office in the market and within minutes register their business.. this ease of registration will not only help CAC in generating internal Revenue but it will help FG immensely with the data, it will also help the people, knowing with pride yes my business is registered and am a tax paying citizen..it's with this small initiatives you can see huge social infrastructure development (that's if corruption doesn't play it role) not only locally but in a wide scale.
Look around you, a lot of small scale business have Moniepoint POS terminal but not a business name..isn't that a shame? Moniepoint can register more business individuals than CAC!?!?

My take.
For point 1, you can register your business online. The CAC website is one of the most reliable government website in Nigeria.
For point 2, there are CAC agents in the markets. You either don't frequent the markets or you are talking about an issue you have limited knowledge about.

Bureaucracy, Bureaucracy.... Bureaucracy every time.

How does this stimulate the Ease of Doing business.

Everyday, Tinubu is thinking of how to dip his greedy hands into the pockets of Nigerians in the name of taxes, levies and bank fees.

Tinubu has to go.
Is there any society where you can do business without registering with the government?
Would his replacement dissolve the CAC?
