We can't leave everything to the government. Private sectors has a whole lot to do ( they need to give back to the community whom the success of there own business depends on).

This is the most dumb opinion I have seen on Nairaland in recent times.
1. Pence didn't mobilize the National Guard as he isn't Empowered by the Constitutional to do so. The DC National Guard was activated yesterday by the Mayor of DC. Same with the Governor of Virginia when he sent from Virginia to DC too.

2. Nigeria and United States don't operate the same constitution. There are separate role for the VPs in these two constitution and Power over the Military is not part of it.
